Libby made my first time experience welcoming, comfortable and personable to my skin care. She was friendly and truly did a wonderful job that during my scalp massage, I fell in and out of naps because it was incredibly relaxing. I could tell she loves what she does and it made me happy that she was excited to provide me a first time experience! Service was great and informative of membership savings and recommendations for further visits. They offered support pillows when I was lying down and a weighted blanket. One thing I would have to say is if they decide to change or upgrade the setting, I would recommend having private rooms for each client as it creates a more peaceful, quiet and private experience like a spa instead of having curtains as boundaries. I could hear other conversations and it started out a bit distracting hence the 4/5 stars. However, I learned to zone it out when Libby started my facials and scalp massage. Overall, cute and clean aesthetics! Truly glad I got Libby for this first experience.

What I didn't expect was the facial to be in an open room like a school separated with curtains. You don't get your own private room with a closed door but it was still pretty relaxing. I was given a complementary chocolate wrapped in gold foil at the end. I would come back if I was ever near one again. Unfortunately, in Seattle, we don't have one!

It's a lovely spa too, and not just massage. I met my masseuse, who was very welcoming. We talked about my chronic health issues and how to approach things, and what areas to prioritize. Her massage skills were great. Firm pressure, dug in when needed, loosened up impossibly tight areas, and helped get things moving in my body. I felt like new afterwards and will be scheduling again in a couple of weeks. I can't wait. I will say the massage was more expensive than most other spas, and to get the price down a bit, a membership is required, which I'm not thrilled about. I hate subscriptions, so I'll probably pay more for my freedom from a subscription and because my massage therapist is worth it.

Not only did he take the time to focus on the knots, I really appreciated that he recommended the areas I should stretch at home. After the massage, I met Emily for our 50 min custom facial, which alalso felt too short. My skin felt amazing and hydrated after our session was over. She also recommended what products I should use to make sure my addressed problems stay minimal. She also provided massages after she put on a face mask for me, which I appreciated! Both beds that I was on were heated, so those felt incredible. It was my first time here, so I had to complete a few paperwork before I met my masseuse and esthetician. It was very straightforward. The front desk lady was also really nice. At the end, I was super relaxed and wanted to sleep there!

Then there's staff here that should be working in the beauty industry with the kind of negative attitude that they have. But recently, I feel like staff has changed and shopping here has been so much more pleasant and actually fun! The store is smaller and congested but I actually like it! I feel like it's full of stuff to look at and test out. I did grab a handful of products today. The gal that helped me out at the register today was really nice! My app coupon wasn't quite working but she made it happen for me. 10 bucks off is a nice chunk of change to save. I adore that she made sure I got to save some money. I'm sure that I'll be there to grab more product later this month. There's always lashes, setting spray for lip gloss that needs to be picked up. I have been fortunate enough to have great service my last few visits. Hoping it stays consistent.

I expected a busy store but this one seemed quiet. Maybe because it was early afternoon on a weekday. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and asked if there was anything they could help with. I went straight for the nail polish and they had multiple gold polish to pick from. I got one and on my way out I found a new lotion by Hempz, Serene Waters an extra moisture lotion. Up until checkout this was a great visit. Checkout itself took forever. There was a line and with 3 cashier's you'd think it would move quickly but each transaction seemed to take forever. Usually they are quick so I am not sure what was going on.

Anywho, every single experience I've had with her has been positive! She's so sweet and SUPER easy to talk too which is a relief - it's nice to feel like you're just chatting with a friend! Also, this is very important to me - she is ALWAYS on time. I've never had any issues with her running behind. I can't stand it when I make an appointment for something and organize my time in order to make it to that appointment, and then have the technician running behind. This has never happened with Raquel! All of her services have been great, but the lash lift and tint especially has made a HUGE difference in my life! I seriously feel twice as pretty without makeup on. Also, when I do apply mascara, my lashes are lifted and ready to go! I'm totally addicted. Thank you Raquel! 20/10. Love Raquel, love her services, and also LOVE how easy it is to book online! If you can order a pizza, you can definitely schedule an appointment with Raquel (it's that simple. When booking with Graeber they have a very intensive online "questionnaire" to determine what stylist would be best suited for your needs. I was paired with Raul. He listened to me, viewed all of my photos and gave me feedback on my style and photos and we were in agreement on the best path forward. The receptionist also was very welcoming, offered me coffee and gave me a tour. They carry Oribe and Aveda products which I use so that also is great. In addition to cuts/styles they have extensive skin care routines/facials. The services and products are not inexpensive but if you know what you want this is where you can get it. There was a glitch with their online booking system in which it made it appear that no openings were available, thankfully they reached out by phone and I was able to get in. I explained about the issue booking and they said they would address that, so if you don't find a slot online I suggest you call. Also I found easy on street parking so that was definitely a plus.
