Dr. Lockridge graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also attended Kent State College College of Podiatric Medicine. She went on to complete her foot and ankle residency at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Lockridge is ABFAS Board Qualified in foot and ankle surgery and is an active member active of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. I met Dr. Lockridge today for the first time. She had a positive attitude with a great smile and professional but personable. She chatted with me and answered questions as she examined and worked on my feet. My nails were trimmed where they needed to be. My nails look and feel so much better after she addressed a couple of areas bothering me. I really like her and look forward to my next appointment. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. She is efficient and tries to get you in and out timely. If you're looking for a podiatrist in the Avon area, I highly recommend Dr. Lockridge.

Needless to say, she was in a lot of pain each day. We were recommended to see Dr. Miller for a consultation from a mutual friend. Immediately upon seeing Dr. Miller at her first appointment, he simply looked at her feet, moved them around a little and told us exactly what was wrong. He was never pushy on the surgery option but we immediately felt comfortable with him based on his excellent "bedside manner" as well as his exceptional expertise in this area. Fast forward and our daughter, who finished her 2nd surgery about 4 weeks ago is in absolutely no pain. In fact, she has been in no pain and has not needed any narcotics at all the entire post-surgery. Her feet are now straight and we expect a full recovery. Our daughter is excited to live life without pain thanks to Dr. Miller and his team. We can't recommend him enough.

I was skeptical about going to a podiatrist for surgery but but my fears were unfounded. Dr. Miller took his time to answer all of my questions, on every visit, before and after my surgery. His nurses are even better and will give you lots of great advice if you ask. Office wait times are usual, about 20 minutes late. I have struck up conversations with other patients in the waiting room and learned they also had great experiences with this doctor, very reassuring! I did follow all of his guidelines (elevation, ice) and had almost no pain AT ALL! My recovery was very fast for foot surgery and I find myself, at 10 weeks, back in good running shoes and able to walk very normally. I still need to rest and elevate my foot but I'm sure that will improve. It never occurred to me to ask how long all of the different stages would take after surgery especially the time in a splint (non-weight bearing) followed by the time in a boot. I will definitely do that for the second foot. Yes, more in my future. yea. At least I have this wonderful doctor to do the surgery.

If you want your loved one to be treated with respect, dignity, and appropriate care this is NOT…read morethe place. Fact, I visit my loved one at least every 3-4 days. Each time I am emptying and cleaning the bedside commode filled with urine and feces, table tops, bed anything my loved one is touching in the room. My love one bed covers and clothes smell of urine, why because she does not have the disposable underpants available in the room. They accuse her of not asking however, I have asked on a Thursday and have gone back on Sunday and still none where available in the room. I asked again and waited for them; this time I was given the correct size. My loved one stores her soiled clothes hidden in drawers and stuffed behind her bed. She attempts to wash her clothes in the sink because it's embarrassing for her when she soils her clothes or bedding because she has no supplies, I have had to ask for toilet paper. This place ignores patients calls for help for long periods of time. My loved room partner called for help several times; the help light was flashing above the door. An outside health worker (that was visiting my loved one) went seeking help down the hall at the nurse's station, however no one was around, in the meantime the patient began to get up (wheelchair dependent). After a while I went to seek help, no one was in the hall. After some time, I saw a staff member walk passed the room I went out to tell her, and she said I'll be in in a minute. I had told her the patient had got out of the bed. She enters the room telling the patient she should not be out of bed on her own. This was very concerning to me because the patient had time to pull herself up out of bed and was holding on to her dining tray. 15-20 may not sound like much time but she could have fallen and hurt herself seriously. Not addressing or forgetting to assist patients' needs is unacceptable. I have had to ask for OTC pain medicine (topical) for my loved one and have applied it myself because my loved one was forgotten or staff had not had the time to address the request, my longest wait was an hour and a half, too long. This is just a few of the reason why patients' well-beings are being compromised. You have to be an on-site advocate for your loved one to get any help. I feel sorry for patients who have no one to advocate for them while they are in this place. THINK TWICE BEFORE PUTTING YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS INSTITUTION. Treating every person with respect, compassion, and empathy, recognizing their inherent worth, autonomy, and individuality, regardless of health status, age, or dependency level is NOT happening with my loved one and other patients at the institution.

My only complaint is Jennifer, the case manager, telling me our only option to transfer to his next level of care was to go to Allison Pointe. After one day and 2 nights in that horrible place, I was able to make several phone calls and get him transferred to another facility. The facility he is in now says they never heard from Jennifer, although she told me they denied him when she checked with them first. U would push the nurse button, maybe 15 minutes later someone showed up. I started cleaning her myself multiple times. They would use the same gloves and mess with her trach. They would leave her in bed unless you asked for her to be put in a chair. I was told multiple times they don't have the staff to put her on the toilet every time she had to go. They told me to let her go in her diaper. Sometimes she would get cream on her bottom other times not. If I questioned it, they did it. There wasn't any therapy until the week she was leaving, If she was tired or sleeping, she missed her therapy. Their only goal was for her to have the trach removed. 2 days before she went to RHI her breakfast arrived. The thickener wasn't in her juice or tea. She could have aspirated and gotten pneumonia over it. Being on a trach she should have had pureed foods. She was given chopped. RHI couldn't believe it. Very dangerous. Some of the nurses work 6 or 7 days a week for 12 hour shifts. I don't feel like they can give good or great care. I feel like she didn't get the care she needed.
