Against my better judgement, as well as Yelp itself telling me I should not remove the review, I went ahead and removed it. Well, no solution to my problem was ever presented and the issue(s) listed below still remain. No matter what happens from this point forward, I will not remove this review again! Below is my original review. I've thought long and hard about writing this review. This winter I had my main drain clog about 2 days before the big snowfall, during that vicious cold snap we had. Once the snow was finished and my crawl space was able to be accessed, I called Kaleb as I'm also a veteran. He came and tried to snake it, to no avail. He also commented that my crawl space was the cleanest he has seen. After not getting the main line opened with a snake, he said the only option is to "hydrojet" my line and that would free up any clog I had. He also said that he would knock off the $100 I paid for the snake from the $550 charge for the hydrojet. Well, the hydrojet didn't work and, in fact, made matters worse as all that water (and everything that was in my pipes) went all over my crawl space, which now has a terrible odor. He made no attempt to clean up the mess he made and it cost me a total of $550 to not have the problem solved and my house smell like shit! I'm sorry, but I expected more from one veteran to another. I guess now that the weather is getting nice, I'll have to pressure wash my crawl space myself. Not an easy task, being a couple months shy of 74 and not in the best of health! In short, I hate to say this about a fellow vet, but I do not recommend this company!

Blocked me on Facebook on his business page when I left a review, Blocked me on his personal page since he recommended himself for a job on a local site and I commented on the poor work he does, one of his 5 star recommendations is a relative of his soooo... unfortunately he is a bad choice for hire, he might give good prices, but not good service. I do not recommend hiring him and obviously so don't others for a lot of the same reasons. Do your homework on this guy. His name is Zach Keller.

I had previously used Morningstar for a front entrance and steps, and they did an absolutely amazing job, so I contacted them again. Kerry came out and talked to me twice about my project. My property is a hill, basically, which added challenges to the job. After demolition of the old firepit, and excavation of the site, I got a retaining wall that is absolutely a work of art, a beautiful patio and a firepit that rivals anything I've ever seen for workmanship and beauty, and a walkway that is unbelievable! The weather did not cooperate for many days, but once they were able to pour concrete, they got right on it. They created a circular patio against a retaining wall of graduated height, measuring 4' in the middle. Then, they added a template design, having to work suspended above the concrete! The results are just beautiful! I wanted a larger than usual firepit, as I have a wooded lot, and burn a lot of twigs and debris from the trees, but wanted something that would be an attractive firepit for get togethers. They absolutely came through for me, I love the firepit that they designed! The walkway that they laid out is curved, and looks like a path in the woods. They finished it beautifully, with a pattern that looks like stone. Their pricing is competitive, and the quality is well worth it. They are reliable, and very focused on doing a spectacular job. They also make sure to leave the jobsite clean and in great shape, straightening out the landscape beautifully. I am over the moon with my new patio, firepit and walkway. Once again, a spectacular, quality job.

They blamed their supplier, JJ Kennedy, who they said sold them a bad batch of concrete. Every time it freezes the concrete crumbles, and gets worse! Plus, Kim (Kerry's wife) told me that this has happened on Multiple Jobs - not just mine! It shouldn't be my problem - it's Morningstar's problem. I tried to address this with them before posting any reviews. I repeatedly called and email them to try to get this resolved. They kept ignoring me and I had to keep contacting them again and again. Finally Kerry promised IN A WRITTEN AGREEMENT to come back to my house and replace the crumbling concrete before 2025 was over -- but 2025 came and went and Kerry was full of excuses on why he couldn't do what he originally promised to do.
