I would never recommend Baughman Locksmith in ALtoona, PA. I paid him cash for 3 new locks & 4 new keys. Two days after his work, one of the keys broke in the door lock and was stuck in the lock on front door of my house on a very busy Avenue. I called him and he would not respond to me. Had to keep on him to come back and fix it. He finally was on his way the next afternoon when he got back from camping ( He advertises 24hr service ). But, while he was enroute... he was texting me saying will you or your niece be paying the $35 service call? I said the locks have been on 2 days, do you not guarantee/warranty your work. He had a attitude and said it was not his responsibility for something breaking. He did show up But was very rude and condescending as he was demonstrating it was not the locks- clicking & clacking the locks back & forth. I said how about the keys, maybe that is the problem. He saw that one of the other brand new keys he gave us was bent. We had never even used it yet. I said well it must be the keys then, He stated "well if thats how you want to play this.. then its the keys". He then said to me "How do you want this to end".Instead of admitting that was the problem. I said I just want my locks & keys that I paid $130 for to work. He then replied to me ok but do not call me again. I will not tell you the curse words that erupted from me. He must really need that $35 to risk loosing a customer and the next 10 people I keep telling this story. read more
