Thank you to the Team at Advanced Mechanical. I have used…read moreyour service in the past, with excellent results, and found myself needing help with my home's furnace. Middle of the winter I expected to hear that I needed to pay an emergency fee to promptly get a tech to my house to look at my heat problem, however, I was pleasantly surprised when I found I was able to get a tech to my house the next morning (less than 24hrs) for a normal service call fee. The responding technician was thorough and explained my exact problem to me. Bottom line is I needed to repair or replace my aged furnace... Options were provided, with no upsell pressure. My furnace was unsafe to operate, so the tech took time to safely disable it and also took time to make sure I had adequate alternate heat sources to keep my two-story home warm and safe until we were able to fix my issue. Within a couple hours I had an estimate emailed to me, complete with several options to help me make the best decision. Ultimately I decided to update my furnace with a more efficient unit. I was impressed that Advanced Mechanical had a large inventory warehoused (in Bismarck) to ensure they have enough equipment on-hand to service our area. I appreciate the expense of holding this inventory and mitigating our current shipping and supply chain issues The team (Nate & Chris) that installed my new furnace was great. They were very friendly, clean and careful. They went the extra step to do an extremely professional installation, ensuring all plumbing etc. was clean and aesthetically good looking. They double checked all connections, gas supply and operations of all systems. They then made sure I was comfortable with all the repairs and understood everything. They left my utility room much cleaner than they found it! Very happy with the finished product and overall experience. It is definitely worth it to pay the pro's to come and do the work for you! Thank you!!

Spencer came over later in the morning and noticed the filter was plugged. This was fixed and we were told we should have hot water soon; however, we did not. I was quite frustrated and posted a comment on Facebook. Jami contacted me almost immediately and had Spencer at my house within a half hour & this time, it was fixed and he didn't leave until we felt the water warming up. I can understand troubleshooting doesn't always work the way I want it to and sometimes you have to try a few fixes before you get it right. I was hot and sticky & crabby (I needed a shower badly) I was blown away at how important it was to Jami that our hot water heater was fixed that night if at all possible. They took a situation with an unhappy customer and used it to create a very satisfied one who will definitely call on them again!

Think twice! Before hiring this company, I called them to inquire about their pricing. All I was…read moretold was the plumber hourly rate, which seemed reasonable, so I booked their services. I don't have anything negative to say about the plumbers work aside from his refusal to tell me how much it was going to cost. That was a red flag to me. My experience changed when the bill arrived in the mail several days later. I was charged for more time than the plumber spent at my house, a gas mileage fee, and ridiculously high prices on the parts that the plumber needed for the repairs. The plumber needed to leave at some point to get specific parts from a store and when he returned, I asked him how much were the parts and he had no answer. After receiving the very high bill in the mail, I immediately called them to inquire why it was so high because I took photos of the parts required and had them priced and it was significantly lower. The person on the phone was Dan, the plumbing supervisor, who was incredibly rude to me on the phone. He explained that the customer does not pay the price that the parts cost from the store, the customer pays their company's up charged new price on the parts. So, be aware that not only do you get charged gas mileage for in town services (which is ridiculous) you also pay a huge markup on the parts that they buy for much cheaper probably at Menards where they can also claim the healthy rebate. I can see that I am not the only customer who has been angered by their high billing prices and surprising extra fees that they do NOT disclose upfront. Save yourself the trouble and the money and DO NOT hire from this company. Though the plumbers who actually do the work for them may be just fine, they are dishonest and not trustworthy about their billing and customer service is extremely poor. I would rate at zero stars if I could.

Long story short. I was blown away when I received the bill for almost $700. We were charge 4.75 hours to repair four ceiling vents. Since we live across the street from this home I checked our security cameras to see just how long the tech was there. The tech came and went a couple of times and then called me to say they had to wait for a part to come in to finish the last vent. Our cameras recorded the tech at the home for a grand total of just about two hours. I called and spoke with Isabel who confirmed I was close to the actual tracking time they had done the tech at the home (based on an app). She said she would double check with the tech and get back to me. After a few days she confirmed the hours were correct - 4.75. Buyer beware. I expected this to be a few hundred dollars at most. I understand there should be time for a trip charge. But 2.75 hours at $95 an hour when the shop and supplier are perhaps 20 minutes from the home? Come on. By the way. When the tech finally returned with the needed parts for the last vent, our security camera recorded him being there ten minutes. I cannot recommend this company's services.

We have purchased a water heater, new AC, and almost purchased a furnace from them all in the last 3 years. I now question whether or not we actually needed to replace our water heater and AC, because they heavily pitched us on just buying a new one at the time and we trusted them. When our furnace stopped working, we called them yet again and their tech came out and spent a couple hours trying to fix the problem before deciding we needed a new motherboard. He contacted "his reps" and we waited for a week and a half for "his reps" to ultimately send the wrong part. No one realized this and the tech came out and worked on putting the wrong motherboard in for a few hours. When the tech eventually figured out it was the wrong part, he contacted "his rep" and they said they can't get our motherboard anymore and we would have to buy a whole new furnace. By this point, we were without heat for 2+ weeks in mid to late October. Then the sales guy calls me to pitch me his quotes on a new furnace and talks down to me because I'm a woman, telling me I should speak with my husband. Disgusting. He gives me a quote that is about $1500 higher than the other company we ultimately went with. Fast forward to now and this company has the guts to send us a bill for $500. For what? The tech literally did nothing the entire time he was here. We are happy to pay for his time for the initial visit when we didn't know what was wrong, but it's not our fault their "rep" sent the wrong part and sent their tech on a wild goose chase for 3+ hours. Send the bill to their rep or eat the cost. If the rep had told them they couldn't get the part in the first place, it would have been over with right there. When my husband called to argue, the sales guy acted like he was doing us a favor by somehow sending us a bill for only $500. What? Absolutely sleazy sales techniques. I have already told multiple people never to work with this company and plan to tell everyone who will listen never to work with them. This is NOT how you treat people, especially good customers who have already purchased an AC and water heater through you. Shame on you.

When they came out , they brought two service trucks along with two guys. The looked at the well and determined they needed to drive both rigs across out driveway curbing and yard to get close enough to the well to run a generator cord to it. After jumping it they determined it was a electrical issue and I needed to call someone else. So after being there for 30. Mins- 1/2 hour , busted up concrete and having to call someone else we got a bill for 510.00 ( which was for a service rig to come out, and two hour labor for two guy making it four hours labor). Beware , if you stop at there office and want to pay with a debit, or credit card , that will cost you an additional 4%.
