I've mostly worked with Adrian who is a total expert on their wide selection of watches. His knowledge on the style and craftsmanship of all their luxury brands is beyond impressive. I often find myself having a great time just talking with him and learning about the intricate details and history of the different brands they carry. This ultimately resulted in me purchasing a Grand Seiko with the most amazing "snowflake" dial and brilliantly polished metal. I'm in awe every time I wear it. Throughout my visits, I've seen all of the staff eager to help every customer. From walk-ins who just need a simple battery replacement to customers with complex custom jewelry designs, or couples looking for the perfect engagement ring, the staff at Paul Medawar provide the highest level of customer service. I came in with a vintage 1978 Rolex Datejust that has been in the family since original purchase. It needed serious TLC to just be wearable. I was not an established customer, I had no previous experiences with this store. They could have easily said "Sorry, this isn't fixable, but we can sell you a new one." But they didn't brush me off. They took the time (about an hour) to explain what was and was not possible - and why. Ultimately, I just asked David 'What would you do?'. His advice was perfect. Rather than spending thousands of dollars to dramatically alter the watch with new parts etc., he said he could bring it back to wearable condition for the cost of an hour of his time. David did what he said he would do, delivered more than I expected, and I doubt they made a dollar profit from it. This place is the definition of 'class'. My vintage watch is in great shape now and will be worn on special occasions to preserve it for the next generation. In the meantime, I'm in the market for a new daily driver Rolex - and I hope to buy it here.

I dont want a gift card. I explained further the issue with the necklace and not calling me to inform me of the cost. She says " Would you prefer a REFUND of the $88?". I said yes and gave her my address. Today, we received a GIFT CARD in the mail for Roger's Jewlery. that is NOT a refund. So, I called to confirm he was purchasing gold today. He told me he buys at 95% of spot price on gold bullion and he was willing to buy what I was wanting to sell. I was satisfied with that number and sold my gold for a tidy profit over what I bought it for years ago. He now has a sign up that specifies they will not purchase more than $200 of silver in any form. I am happy to continue to do business here. The location is very convenient and offers a lot more than just selling bullion. I am grateful to have been able to do business locally and not have to drive hours in traffic.
