She unlocked ton of cases and happily answered our questions. Sometimes, at other stores, I feel like I am bothering employees when I ask them to open cases so I can browse, but I did not feel that way when I was shopping here! I ended up getting a beautiful new ring at a reasonable price, and after I left the store, my boyfriend and I walked two blocks in the POURING rain (we were absolutely soaked) back to our car. After we got in the car, that same employees was knocking on my window and holding an item of mine that I had accidentally forgotten on the counter when I set my things down. She actually ran after me for two blocks to make sure I got it back! I felt so bad because she was also soaked, but I am very thankful she took the time/energy to run after me. She was so friendly and definitely went above and beyond.

I was told if they weren't done by Wednesday the 26th, it would be after Thanksgiving because they would be closed Fri. & Sat.due to the holiday. This was fine with me. I got a call on Tues. telling me what the cost would be and that I could pick them up Weds. I liked the personal service we got from Dan the owner. He knows his stuff that's for sure! He ought to, they have been in business over 50 yrs. All of the work is done right there on site. Don't let this small shop fool you. The customer service & work were far better than the large chains. Also, the work done was very affordable. I will be going there any time I need work done in the future!

Went back a second time (including the person who the gift was from) and was being helped by a woman when the manager got involved. He was loud, rude and saying things about fraud. He yelled that he drives to Holland every day from Kalamazoo. (Just want to make a return sir, your choice to make that commute) We explained this was out second attempt to make this return. He then went on about refunding us for our gas?? (In a tone that was meant to be disrespectful.) Not that he or Kay Jewelers cares but his actions caused me to have issues that night with my PTSD. Please train your manager. He escalated this situation and the tone and words he used should not be used in a retail setting. Damage done. No way will anyone I know EVER shop there again!
