I just called about a reservation I made online, to confirm their availability. I was told, "We're not gonna be open. I don't know what else I can tell you so you can drop the attitude." My friends and I were camping at Great Basin and one of our cars would not start. Thankfully, this towing company saved the day. Our Geico roadside assistance gave an estimated time of noon but he came an hour early! After checking out the car, he gave us information of things that may be causing the car to break like a bad battery or alternator. Broke down at 3am on the 318N....80 miles south of Ely...I repeat, 3am...on the 318... Around 11am, the HP found us, and couldn't be nicer....he called BattleBorn, 2 hours later our car was being towed, and Seth of BattleBorn was driving us up to Ely. Seth is fantastic! We were laughing and being told stories the entire drive. The theme of this seemingly terrible and scary situation was, kindness. This company's customer service and care can't be beat. Dalton was our driver and he was so kind. He arrived on time, got our 4 runner on his tow. We had a ball joint break in the middle of no where an hour outside of ely with little to no cell service. I feel like it was priced well! We never felt taken advantage of. He was honest and helped us pick out a repair shop. He even offered us a place to hang out while we waited for my mom to come pick us up from salt lake city. Couldn't get in to towing our vehicle until this morning. We are from out of town, the gentleman I spoke on the phone with was awesome! Very quick to arrive at our hotel to retrieve the keys and tow our vehicle, even called around to open shops for us, and took the time to pick us up from the hotel and bring us to the shop he brought the truck to. And was willing to take us back. Very very pleased with his customer service and willingness to help us out of towners. Will be keeping their information if we are in this situation again. You won't be disappointed with their service, I know I wasn't and was honestly incredibly nervous to work with a tow company but he relieved all of that so thank you!!! read more

On Monday evening 11/26/2018 We hit a deer in our truck about 40 miles South of Ely, Nevada and our truck was inoperable. We were literally out in the middle of nowhere and felt totally helpless with limited cell service. Long story short, the hwy patrol got a hold of Battle Born Restoration for us and within 10 minutes we had a tow truck there. Luckily the driver (can't remember his name) was on his way back to Ely after doing another tow in Las Vegas and was only 5 miles away. Anyways, the driver got us loaded up and headed toward Ely and drove us to a local hotel and then took our truck to the yard until we could assess the damage in the morning. My husband walked 2 blks from the hotel to the tow yard in the morning and all the guys there we so kind and helpful. One of them even drove him to the Napa auto parts store to get what we needed to get our truck running again so we could head back to Washington state. I would highly recommend Battle Born Restoration to anyone, They are a great group of guys with small town values. read more

Disclaimer: This review is going to sound like a Garth Brooks song but it's true. These men were the best. I managed to get my 27 foot RV way stuck, like up to the axels stuck, in the adobe mud that seems to be prevalent in that area. I was 37 miles from anywhere on a very remote forest service road about 6 miles off Highway 50. I had only episodic phone service and a snow storm was looking likely. I think funeral bells were tolling off in the distance but can't be sure. I do know a vulture or two were scoping me out. It was one of the few times I have ever been afraid and I was very afraid. Fortunately, during one of those telephonically favorable periods I was able to contact my daughter. She called every tow company within a 150 mile radius but only Battle Born would respond. The tow truck guys called me within a few minutes of getting the call. The conversation was garbled but I understood he was unclear about my location which really unnerved me. He then sent me a text to assure me he would find me regardless of how long it took. It took 5 hours. Once they arrived, they very very gently pulled my motorhome out of the mud (not a speck of damage from the tow), backed me out the three miles to the paved road, took huge hunks of mud of my tires and then followed me for 20 miles to make sure I had no other issues. They were calm, competent and courteous. Best of all? They never laughed at the out of state dumb a## dunce who got stuck in that situation. Regardless of what stories they probably told over beers that night, in my story they remain heroes. read more

We were traveling on Highway 50 on two motorcycles and, two miles outside of the city limits of Ely, Nevada, my husband's back tire went flat - he'd hit a nail. There was no way for him to replace the intertube on that tiny roadway shoulder, plus, we were losing daylight and traffic was whizzing by at 70 miles per hour. After convincing Progressive Insurance that Ely really is a town and that our nearest cross street was a large rock cliff and that Highway 50 isn't a Freeway with exit numbers, they said they absolutely would send us a tow truck that was completely prepared for a motorcycle tow - and they sent us Seth from Battle Born Restoration. And he was an absolute EXPERT. He knew exactly how to get the bike onto the truck on a busy highway where no one gave a damn, and then while my husband followed us on my bike, he said he would show me different motels and I could pick whichever we wanted to stay at to work on the bike AND that he would wait in the road while I ran in to check for vacancies!
