I was told by my Alarm Company I could get the battery for my alarm here. That is true I definitely could and I did but after looking Walmart has the exact same battery for 17.99 and I paid 34.99 here. Since I already wasted this money and driving back, there would cost me about as much gas and then my time I figured I would leave a great review and let you know to check on Walmart before you buy here read more

Terrible experience! Don't go here. They damaged my antenna in my phone when replacing the battery and refused to fix it, and said it wasn't covered under the warranty. read more

Batteries Plus sold and installed a new car battery in 20 minutes. Installation included in the sales price. Tech was friendly and professional. I recommend BP to anyone not particularly gifted with hand tools. read more

I was told 'Batteries plus bulbs' recycles single-use batteries. So I took my collection of used alkaline batteries to them. I was charged $30/- to recycle them - @$3/- per pound. I thought it would be free. I feel, new batteries cost the same amount as the recycling fees that were charged today. read more

They charge to recycle items. No notice of these charges are not listed on their website.

Not the best place, low supply, you ask for something specific they try to give you an alternate that is over priced and won't necessarily meet your requirements with batteries. read more

Probably the WORST customer service I've ever received anywhere, anytime! Just short of insulting me, this fellow dismissed my questions, tried to charge me sales tax for a service, told me I did not have an Otterbox case (the case was marked Otterbox!) and switched attention to another customer (higher charge case) leaving me to stand there waiting for ten minutes. If anyone ever needed a training course on listening to the client and meeting their needs, it is he. I have told three people already to avoid this store at all costs and I have hardly begun to dis this business. STAY AWAY! read more

Even though we didn't actually get anything here, I would highly recommend this location. We took two pocket watches for new batteries. The woman there looked at them to try and change them out. She told us we should take them to a jeweler instead, that she wasn't sure she could do it without scratching them, and gave us a recommendation for a jeweler that was quick, did a great job, and was cheaper. It's hard to find places these days that will be honest that way instead of just trying to get the sale. Would highly recommend them. read more

Took my phone in on July 8 to get battery replaced. Returned a little over an hour later to have the lady working tell me the battery they had was defective and she had another battery on it's way after hours, I told her no worries I could come back the following day. Returned the following day, dropped my phone off and came back an hour later to have the young man explain to me my finger print sensor didnt work, asked if I had it worked on before because the wire was severed. I said never they were the only ones to ever work on my phone, he said he was going to call me later in the day after he spoke to the last person to work on it when she came in. I called the following day to have him explain they were going to order my part and asap and let me know when it comes in. Here we are a month later and not even a courtesy call. Never again will I spend another dime with this company. read more

Fuck This place ! It's ridiculous! Scheduled a appointment online the day before. Showed up on time Asked me to unlock my phone and leave to complete strangers. Then told me to come back in a hour so I did , just to come back and they haven't even started to work on it , and to come back again in another hour . WHY EVEN MAKE A APPOINTMENT IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO FIX IT! I wouldn't recommend this place and I'll be making sure to tell my family and friends to never go to this place! PS . Told them to give my effing phone back not to even touch it! I will be calling their corporate office to notify this dilemma of unprofessional services read more

Supposedly fixed my phone but broke 3 days later but they won't look at it unless I pay another $149. Rip-off!!! Do not shop here!!! Update: The manager had another employee reach out to me the very next day and offered to fix my phone for free. I informed the employee I had already had the phone repaired, the employee informed the manager and the manager called and offered me a full refund!!! The manager apologized profusely for the conduct of the rude employee who originally refused to even look at my phone!! read more

Worst service ever. Employee was on a personal sounding call when I walked in. When he finally got off he took one look at my three watches and said he wasn't allowed to change the batteries because they were waterproof watches. I walked out with my 3 Nixon, non waterproof watches. I bought a small screwdriver and changed them myself. What a joke. I used to go in Florida and they were great, had no problem changing the batteries in those exact watches!!! read more

Worst service I have ever gotten. I had a cracked phone screen which I wanted to get replaced. They replaced the screen and now the phone doesn't work. It worked fine before but now doesn't work at all. They literally ruined my phone and refused to do anything about it. These people should not be "fixing" expensive smart phones. Also the employee at the time was very rude and cursed a lot when I asked to speak to his boss (never would give me his bosses name) the rude and offensive employees name was Terrell. read more

My iPhone screen broke and I didn't want to go all the way to the Apple Store. I had my screen fixed here instead, and after the new screen went in, the home button would not work. They refused to admit that it wasn't done right, and told me they couldn't "verify" that the home button was working before, and made me pay for the screen. They told me I would have to pay or leave with a phone with no screen. I ended up going to the Apple Store a week later, and had to pay for another new screen. I found out there is a calibration that needs to be done after the screen is put on that batteriesplus obviously had no idea how to do or even that it needed to be done. So instead, battles plus just made me pay for a service that failed. Please do not go to batteries plus if you need a screen on your iPhone. They will rip you off. UPDATE: Yeah they are real sorry, and they're gonna train themselves now. But I'm still out the $200 they demanded for shoddy work. No word on even a partial refund or anything. Just take your money and run. read more

I brought in an item that needed special batteries because I couldn't find them anywhere else. The store picked out the batteries and sold them to me - three for $13 each. OUCH!! I got home and as I was placing the first one in the battery chamber the top of the battery casing peeled back. So I took it out and placed it back in its packaging. Today, I brought the batteries back for a refund and was told they don't take open product back. Never mind the one year warranty on the back of the receipt and on the back of the battery packaging. So I was told to call the phone number on the back of the battery package for he warranty coverage. Guess who answered that number? Batteries plus bulbs corporate office! Screwed again! This is such a crooked operation. DON'T SHOP HERE!! They don't stand behind their products. read more

Spent extra time with me looking for a battery for my camcorder. Went through several different options because my Sony camcorder apparently wanted a genuine sony battery. Horrible place to buy a battery. I bought a battery for my jet ski last June. My jet ski had carburetor issues and my mechanic tried to fix it. The battery was bad so I bought a new one. After several new parts, the jet ski was still not running correctly. I never actually rode it last year because of running issues, it wouldn't stay running. Fast forward to this May. I gave the jet ski to a marine mechanic, he said that my battery was bad. I said that it couldn't be, it was new. He decided to look in the battery and there was hardly any acid in it. It did not leak out or you would be able to see it on the case and elsewhere. They didn't prep my battery correctly. The manager, Jodie, said that because it's over 6 months old, that they can't do anything for me. I call that HORRIBLE customer service. They won't be getting any more business from me. read more

I had a issue with picking up my key fob. But today the store manager was a huge help with my key fob. Great Customer service.

Needed a car battery for my daughter's car. Stopped in and was taken care of by the manager Jody. She provided great service, tested the old battery and installed the new one. Not only did she do a great job installing the battery, she was also very pleasant to talk with. Will definitely be back for my battery needs. read more

Do NOT get your phone screen repaired here. Other than my screen being cracked, my phone was functioning perfectly fine when I took it in. When I got it back, the small speaker at the top of my phone wasn't working at all. I took it back in, and upon taking it apart, they said that despite having "years of experience," they couldn't find the problem, and they'd have to send it away to be repaired. I was about to leave the country in a couple days, so I couldn't do that. In the following couple days, the battery life diminished greatly, the phone continually overheated, and the front camera didn't work at all. Some quick Google research showed that these are common symptoms of a cut cable (a problem common with screen repairs if careless), which I then called to tell them. They said they had already inspected it and didn't believe that to be the case, and even if it were, they didn't have the necessary part to repair it and would have to order it. I finally took the phone to a different repair business, who told me that the cable was indeed very obviously severed during the initial repair. After 40 minutes in their hands, the phone was as good as new. They also informed me that my phone was slightly "ghosting," a symptom of a low quality screen being installed. In addition to their breaking my phone and then being unable to diagnose the (common) problem, they took way longer to look at my phone than they told me would be the case both times I went in (causing me to make several back and forth trips to their store), and when they promised to immediately call another Batteries and Bulbs location to ask if they had the needed part, they not only forgot to return my call, but never even called the other location (I called the other myself a while later and asked). In summary, Batteries and Bulbs in Schererville provides not only shoddy workmanship, but pretty poor customer service as well. read more

My iPhone screen broke and I took it here to replace the screen. They initially verified that the phone was 100% functional. During the screen replacement they broke the home button. I waited in the store for over an hour for them to contact the manager. They demanded that I pay for the repair in full and the manager would contact me. The manager did call me a few days later and told me that they would be giving me $500 to replace my broken phone. She asked me to give her a few days to get the check ready. Needless to say I was never contacted again. I was stuck with a 2 month old broken iPhone and a repair bill. Six months later still waiting... read more
