It was almost closing time, ubreakifix store wouldn't fix my phone that night and I really needed my cracked iPhone screen repaired, Josh from batteriesplus was right next door and was able to fix my screen just before the store closed saving me a trip to the sprint store where I would have to send my phone off for 5-10 business days. Not only that, but he also gave me a discount which made the services paid for even cheaper than going through sprint or Ubreakifix (which I have insurance through). The second battery started the four-wheel one time and when I brought it back, they said they don't warranty the second time so they can sell you bad batteries all day long and then say in the second one doesn't qualify for Warranty even though we put a warranty sticker on it never said anything read more

I had called earlier in the day about a certain bulb that I had purchased many others in the past. The clerk told me that they had three boxes at their southside and that I could come by their store here in Orange Park and pay for them and have them brought over to the store. So I came in and they were very busy and I left. I two hours later. I went in and a gentleman met me not the clerk, but an older gentleman and he told me no go to the store. Even after he heard the clerk say it was at the southside store because he had talked to me on the phone. If I could give them a negative I would. Its been a nightmare trying to deal with them. 2 days ago on the 7th of march my husband had them replace the battery in my tablet and when I tried to use it , it said it wouldn't work because it was too hot..we took it to the diagnostic place and they said the motherboard was fried because they damaged It putting in the battery. We had the diagnostic place tell them too. Now they won't even refund us the $ 85 for the battery or replace the tablet. I guess we have no other recourse but the hassle of small claims court. I bought a very expensive iPhone battery that cost me $80 it lasted one week, when I took it back in they said they didn't have a battery to replace it and called around only to tell me no other store within that city has that battery, so I had to have another company replace it, that costs me $40 half of what Batteries plus Bulbs cost me, and then I found out they used Raovac A cheap alternative. When I tried to get my money back they said since I took it to a 3rd party my warranty was voided even though the themselves did not have a battery to replace it! Do not I say again do not get your iPhone or any other phone repaired at This company they will rip you off and give you cheap parts! Learned my lesson read more

Broke my iPhone screen... they fixed it in an hour and did a good job. They are a little bit pricey but they got it done quickly while I waited. Only thing... do not recommend there screen protectors (tempered glass). I bought one, and they installed it after I got the screen replaced. It made the screen extremely unresponsive, an issue I've never had before with a glass screen. I thought it was the new glass at first, but luckily the phone works beautifully now that I took off the glass. read more

Went on line selected the battery I needed then called the store to confirm they had the battery. Went to the store with the old battery and the first salesperson tried to sell me a $99 battery. When I mentioned the battery was $32 the person who took my call took over and took me to a $47 battery. When I said where is the $32 battery I called about he took me to the monitor and explained that the system automatically goes to a different product when the product requested is not in stock. Admittedly, when I called I didn't mention price but gave him the product number and he said they had it. At this point I got the distinct impression I was being hustled and decided to go elsewhere to purchase the battery. Will not be back. read more

I took my iPhone 7 in to get the charger port replaced. They told me it would take roughly an hour to an hour and a half. I left and came back about 2 hours later after not receiving a call like they said I would, and it still wasn't done. No big deal at first, but after 4 hours of it not being done I started to get impatient. Finally, I get my phone back at around 7:30 (my appointment was at 3) and they explain to me that while they were replacing my charging port, they broke my screen to the point where my home button doesn't work. so they replaced my screen for free. Be that as it may, but if I wanted a new screen, I'd go to the Apple store. But I wasn't going to cause a problem because that's what I get for taking my phone to a 3rd party repair shop. When I looked at my phone, the screen was discolored. Everything on it was darker and more blue. When I pointed this out to the man who fixed it, he simply said "Well there's really nothing I can do. It's either that or a broken home button" So I took my phone home and hours later realized my speakers weren't working either. Nobody could hear my voice via facetime or calls. So the next day I took it back and talked to another employee who said he couldn't do anything about it and to come in friday t talk to a manager and he would gladly handle it all for me. So Friday rolls around and I'm on my way back to the store to talk to a manager and I drop my phone. I've dropped this phone hundreds of times and have never recieved more than a crack to my screen protector (which can be verified in the paperwork they had me sign before hand) and when I dropped my phone this particular time, I realized that when they replaced my screen; they didn't replace my screen protector. So now that my screen is shattered, they so graciously informed me that it is no longer within warranty. All the prior broken parts were now my fault. This store really screwed me over. read more

I went to a competitor who completely destroyed my phone. My wife suggested we go somewhere else to get it fixed again and I let her choose the place. She made an appointment and long story short, my phone was fixed in like 30 minutes. When she came home and all my contacts and everything was there, I was shocked. We had my battery replaced. The other place replaced my battery and the screen was unusuable but these guys found a way to make the screen and everything work again. I sent my coworker there to have his cracked screen done as well and same thing: these guys are pros. And they gave my wife a discount too! These are the phone experts in town. read more

I went into this location to purchase multiple batteries. I told the guy the first battery I was looking for and gave him a paper with the battery information and he informed me that that was not a battery number and I was attempting to pull up a picture of the battery I was replacing and he said well what phone number was it purchased under and I told him I didn't know. He rolls his eyes and shakes his head and starts to walk away. I tell him never mind I will go some where else to purchase my batteries do I wouldn't put so much pressure on him to actually help a first time customer to this store. He says "Fu** You" as I am leaving. I asked who owned the store if it was corporate and he said he was the franchise and he owned the store. I said ok but you will not get any of my hard earned money or anybody else's if I can help it. So BUYER BEWARE if you want to give this person your money that's your choice but he won't get any of mine. I noticed as I was leaving the store that he had a "now hiring" sign in the window and I thought. If he treats customers like he treated me, how does he treat employees? Had my phone lens replaced in March, during April Batteries Plus received a memo that the new phone updates would cause issues with phones that had lens replaced. They didn't notify me of the issue and my phone quit working properly. I returned to Batteries Plus Bulbs and was told that I needed to talk with the Manager on Monday. I talked to the Manager who told me my options were to wait two or more weeks for a possible fix. (I was told by a Technician that the new lens' provided by the phone maker may or may not work properly.) The manager was very stern saying that my only option was to wait until the new lens' were available, no refund. I wrote a review and received an email telling me to phone the manager and they would work out an equitable settlement. I phoned and talked to a woman employee of the company three times, she would relay my message to the manager who would return my call, he did not. My opinion is that their customer support is poor. The manager was a bit of a bully as well. One would be better off going somewhere else for supplies and repairs. read more

Had my battery replaced on my iPhone 5S today they did it quick and noticed no problems as of yet. One quirk though, The web site stated 12 month nationwide warranty but the receipt said 6 months, otherwise id give em 5 stars. they did however honor the $10 off from the online coupon. Still it's $20 less than Apple and no long lines either. read more

I have been in to see these guys twice and they have been very helpful both times on problems I was having, one on a laptop battery and the second on a camera's battery door. I went in to buy a new battery for my Harley. I had tested the old one at my house and found it would not take a charge. Just to make sure, I asked to have it tested at the store. They put the volt meter on it and was reading a little over ten volts. Same as what I got. The guy behind the counter started to tell me that it just wasn't charged. I told him it just got off the charger. He started to argue with me about it. Once again I told him it was on the charger and that when in the bike I keep it on a trickle charger. This is what he told me, " trickle chargers do not charge batteries." I grabbed my battery and left. I guess they didn't want my $135.00 sale.!!!! read more

Incredibly disappointed with my service and repair at Batteries+Bulbs. After making an appointment and being told it would only take an hour to repair my daughters phone, we came back just over an hour and still had to stand in the store for almost an hour waiting for it to be finished. Then we notice 3 days later that the screen is not sitting all the way down on the phone and is beginning to crack. I call and talk to the manager (Mike) who says bring it in and they will take care of it. I explain I can't get it there until the weekend. He says that would be fine. I bring it in today and they tell me they won't fix it because it is cracked and it is probably because she bent her phone from sitting in it before they replaced the screen. The store emplyee calls the manager because I am upset and he tells her she can tell me to come speak to him about it on a weekday when he works. So he knew he wouldn't be there when I came in. So I spent almost $200 in his store and he can't help me with an issue with the repair work even when I called him in advance of coming back in. Disappointing! read more
