Was driving by and remembered I needed batteries for my key fob. The fob is printed with the replacement battery type on the back, so I walked in and told the counter guy exactly what I wanted. He took the fob from me, and I thought he was just going to replace them as part of customer service, like when NAPA replaces your wiper blades. I'm not an idiot - I can replace coin batteries myself - this fob doesn't even need a mini screwdriver or a torx - you use a coin to snap it open, Nope - they charged me $9.99 to replace them, without my asking, for about 3 minutes work. The prices aren't any cheaper than WalMart across the street. I'm all about supporting the small business, but not when they jam me up. $38 for 4 coin batteries and two 9-volts? Next time I will get replacements from Amazon. read more
