Bought an expensive Duracell Ultra car battery here because it had a 2 year warranty so seemed worth tye $150 price. It failed after 6 months. When I brought it on the chubby male clerk said that because the voltage was below 11 volts it wouldn't be covered. So, Buyer Beware warranties aren't worth squat if the store has no integrity and won't honor them. As I left, I told the clerk "you've lost a customer for life". When I was opening the door to leave I heard him snicker. He doesn't know how close I came to going back in... I bought the same (Group #) battery at Walmart for just over half the price! Came in on a Saturday to pickup my online order and the door was locked! The sign on the door said they were opened at 9am and it was 9:45am when I showed up. The lights were on and TV screens were even on inside. Called the phone number on the door and nobody answers the phone. read more

Went into store and was told by employee he could put new original scteen on my i8. He wanted me to come to his house and drop off for ten minutes. i did that and took phone home to charge all night. Next morning I put in my pocket and went to use it and cracked screen. I called all day with no response. Finally from another number he answered and I told him it was broken . He instantly began blaming me and got really defensive. I just wanted to see what I could do and he said he had customers like me and wanted nothing to do with me. I told him that the screen wasn't original like he said. He hung up on me with no offer of help . Avoid this place as they sell knockoff products and no guarantee on anything. Had a 5 star worthy experience with the new guy, Mitch. He fixed my cell phone cover in less that 45 minutes, super polite and helpful. Can't say the same for the sprint store next door, I pay them insurance every month and they tried weasel out of fixing my screen because the back screen glass was a tiny bit cracked, they said they have to replace the back because of the motherboard.. well these guys just repaired the front screen like I asked and no problems. I called this store on a Sunday to get an answer to a question and was put on hold and never was answered. Hung up and called back. The person that answered just said in a lazy voice " hello how can I help you?". No greeting as to who I'm calling just hello how can I help you. Had another problem with another location of this same store also but different issue. They better get their sh*t together before I call the BBB on them. read more

The staff was great at serving my needs( I came in to get a battery for my smartphone) and even took my old decrepit battery for recycle without even charging me a fee ( something my phone carrier performs as part of a "charged service"). The price for the new battery was about 20 percent cheaper than one from the phone carrier. So in a nutshell great service, battery recycling with no fee and great prices! read more

This is not a review of the store per se, but the phone repair. Why is there the option of making an online appointment, which one would assume is meant to save you time, if it is totally meaningless? I drove 45 minutes for a 10:30 appointment. When I got there, I was told they weren't coming in till 11. Leave the phone and come back at noon. I sat in my car for 90 minutes. When I went back in, they told me they didn't have my battery in stock. If these appointmens had any validity, someone could have told me not to come at 10:30. Someone could have told me not to come at all, since they didn't have what they needed and the problem was described when I made the appointment. They called a few days later to say they had the battery now, but I'm not going through that again! read more

The customer service at this store is the worst I have seen in a long time. When asked if I could return the battery if it didn't work the man behind the counter started treating me like a idiot. So I said you need to work on your customer service and I will take my business elsewhere. He then proceeded to cuss me out and follow me and my family out of the store and into the parking lot cussing us out about how great his store is and how everyone goes there. I turned around in defense of my wife and child and went back and asked who his boss is and he says he's the owner. And then follow me out and cuss me some more and threatens to call the police after I flip him off and say fuck you buddy. Don't know how he stays in business treating customers like this, explains why his store is empty. If I could give him negative stars I would. read more

Very poor service, first tried to upsell me to a battery for my ATV that cost over $100. I had to go find the cheaper brand on their shelves. Which was still $70. They then charged me $5.00 more for battery fluid which is already in a sealed battery. When I got home I realized the battery they sold me did not have the hardware the two nuts which always come with them. I had to go back and argue with the salesman to include the hardware. He said it sometime get lost in shipping, which is a ridiculous excuse. Will never go there again. I should have just gone to the Yamaha dealer. read more

This store sucks. They sold me a battery for my phone that didn't work. Then they wouldn't refund my money. They had kept the package so when I went back to them they wouldn't refund me the money because they had kept the package. They remembered me from being there less than 24 hours before, but they didn't remember taking the packaging. Not to mention they have bad customer service and they usually don't have what you need anyway. read more

I purchased a cell phone battery and returned it a few weeks later unopened. The Batteries Plus store computer was not cooperating and the clerk manually refunded my purchase back to my credit card. Checking my bank statement a month later, the original purchase and the refund had both posted, but Batteries Plus then charged my bank account again. I showed the manager of the Layton store where I bought the battery that I had been charged for a product that had been returned and he told me that the bank had just put a hold on my account and he could not help me. My bank indicated that this was indeed a new charge and NOT a hold on my account. The only way to get my money back was to file a fraudulent unauthorized credit card charge with my bank. There has been no help from this Batteries Plus store. I will never shop at Batteries Plus again! read more

Very helpful service! Had to replace my iPhone battery, #thanksnotthanks apple. Was toward the end of the day, they were training someone and still done in 30 minutes. Dry humor but not on purpose. Pleased. Didn't know they repaired most of the iPhone other than the board. Went to another place for a screen fix before but B+B seemed cleaner and more respectable and professional. read more
