My tablet screen was broken and Jeff offered to repair/replace it, but had never done it before on that particular item and wouldn't guarantee the work. I took my chances with him and he did an excellent job. It is now many years later (2024) and I've had to move to a retirement village where we have an IT department which takes care of most of our IT needs. Unfortunately my old, 5SE iPhone which I need because of manual dexterity problems, couldn't be repaired by the new, young tech and ended up in worse shape than before. The floating Home button cannot be eliminated, the regular Home button which had been difficult to push is permanently stuck. It is now Friday evening and I'll have to wait until Monday to somehow get the phone down to Peak Wireless and have Jeff and his crew work their magic on it.

The battery that had been in their unit was actually from Advance Auto, so I went there first. Advance not only didn't have on in stock, they didn't have one available within their online inventory. Basically, the Covid pandemic has interrupted their supply chain. Anyway, O'Reilly's is immediately next store, so I gave them a try. Initially, I got the same response (none on hand and none in the online inventory). But the young man working the counter asked where the battery was used. I told him about my folks needing it for their emergency generator. I mentioned that my mother requires oxygen and needs power for that system. The young man then went in the back and one by one carried 5 different batteries out to the counter for comparison. Ultimately, he found a perfectly suitable substitute that actually provides more cold cranking amps than the original. This was a example of exceptional customer service. I'm adding this store to my list of favorites. On a side note, their pricing is very similar to competition making customer service more important to earning and keeping customers.
