They do not know how to repair phones and if your phone isn't even broken they'll find a way to break it and then blame it on something random‍ they won't even call to give you an update you won't find out until you go check on your device hours later. very disappointed with this store and the way they operate... My screen stopped working because i got water in it. Without checking to see if that's the real problem they charged me for a 200$ screen. Turns out it's the battery so I had to pay 100+ for a new one. Tried to get my refund on my screen, but they shipped it out under my 30 day refund policy. read more

I went in for a new battery for my car. The person who helped me named Daniel was kind, professional and efficient in changing the battery. I was out the door within 20 minutes with a new battery installed. I have been to this location in the past for other household batteries and service has always been good. read more

Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience at this store and I felt compelled enough by the experience to write a review on it. About a year ago, my husband needed a battery for the key to his new car so he headed over to Batteries Plus in Brooklyn Park. The employee working at the time placed the new battery into my husband's car key, but ended up breaking the key while doing so. The car key is worth over $300, and that was the only one we received when we purchased the car. The employee said that they would be able to order a replacement to the pieces that were broken since they were the ones to break the key, which made complete sense since, again.... they were the ones that broke the car key. He said that they would call us once the replacement/pieces were in. After weeks of waiting for a call back, my husband stopped in to the store to check on the status, and was told that due to a new system/update, they were not able to see this transaction/communication/order in their system, and that the car key would be $300 to replace and they wouldn't be able to do such a thing for us. My husband left with no replacement, no make-good from the situation whatsoever, and was essentially called a liar since their system had recently updated and they were not seeing anything (communication, order, note, etc) on their end. So here we are, still with a key that Batteries Plus in Brooklyn Park broke with no functional components on it because we're not able to just throw $300 down. In summary, my feedback on Batteries Plus in Brooklyn Park is very poor. 0 out of 0 stars overall. I'd recommend a complete customer service 101 training be offered by corporate to this location. Unless something miraculously changes, l would not go back to the Brooklyn Park location or any Batteries Plus locations, anywhere or at anytime. read more

I came into this store this morning due to my car battery was low. Upon coming into the store, there was one person with a sling on his left arm. Earlier in the week, I was in here and bought some mini flash lights for my kids and had an educational time about batteries. The person with the sling was not working at that time. Today, however I brought my 4 kids(13yr-5yrs) and they noticed the same flashlight I had bought them along with other cool little gadgets they could use. The guy w the sling came back from helping a customer and had asked my kids to not put the light on as it can be very bright. Fine. I looked at my kids and told them to shut it down. My kids did. I was waiting for my battery to be fixed. If that wasn't enough, the same sling guy came over around the counter to watch my kids. I initially thought he came around to help the customer by me but I turned around and he was looking at my kids. At this point, I couldn't just stand there and be a victim. I told the sling guy: don't worry my kids will put EVERYTHING back. He responded with: I'm just checking the floor to make sure nothing is on the floor. WTH?!?!? So then he walks back around the counter to his register. I will not have it that he was targeting us. I once again said: you already told them once. That was enough. I am not a parent who will allow my kids to tamper stuff. Then he replied: I wasn't implying them stealing. SERIOUSLY?!?!?! So he did think they were going to steal?! Shit just got real. I then replied back to him: I do not appreciate YOU doing this to me or my kids. I already told you to not worry and I will tell my kids. He shook his head at me as I walked out the door staring at him. I told my kids to not let ANYONE treat them this way. They are KIDS! My kids are curious. They aren't breaking things nor are they stealing ! If anything my kids would want me to BUY the gadgets because it's cool. At this point I paid for my stuff, asked for his name because he didn't have a name tag. It was James because I asked Jeremy whom helped me. Do not let anyone treat you the way James. I hope it wasn't because I am Asian that he did this to me but that I had curious kids. Even if i had curious kids, being told once was enough unless the kids were abusing their items. read more

They told me (your Brooklyn Park store) that my ipad was being sent to Wisconsin for repair, it was fixed in store instead incorrectly, cracked again and dust was left in screen I brought my ipad in because it had been cracked. I was told that the ipad was being sent to Wisconsin because it was policy if the frame was cracked to be sent to Wisconsin for repair. However the technicians decided to try and fix it in the store and the screen was not put back in the frame correctly because they were unable to properly fix the frame. Due to this the screen cracked, and they left dust under the screen. The screen was fixed a second time and at that time I was told that they were not going to fix it again even though they left dust under the screen and did not properly follow policy and send the ipad to Wisconsin. So again when they fixed it the 2nd time they did not send it to Wisconsin they fixed it in house after they told me initially that this ipad goes out of state for repair when the frame is bent. The screen cracked again, just days after the repair because the screen is not properly sitting in the frame because the frame was not correctly repaired the first time by Batteries Plus. When I spoke with Dustin at corporate he informed me that they could return my ipad back to me with no screen and return my money. So he offered to return my money back to me along with a broken ipad. Everyone knows if an ipad has no screen it damages irreparably the electromagnetic capability of the ipad and renders it indefinitely inoperable, why would he (Dustin) make such a suggestion? Dustin continuously dismissed the fact that the screen was put in incorrectly initially and continued to blame me for not having a case on the ipad. I have had this ipad for 5 years and it has only been broken twice, the second repair was done by batteries plus causing me to make this complaint. He also apologized because he communicated that I should have been told that my ipad could not be fixed correctly because of the bent frame and that if Wisconsin had of received the ipad would not have fixed it. If I had of been told that they could not guarantee the repair or the workman ship of the repair as the 6 month warranty claims I would have never had my ipad fixed at batteries plus. Batteries plus went as far to communicate to me that responding to the 6 month warranty with the first repair was done on good faith, which again contradicts the integrity of the 6 month replacement warranty on workmanship. If they knew they could not properly repair the ipad they should have made me aware of that before the repair. If they knew that their policy is to repair bent frame ipads in Wisconsin then they should have sent the ipad so that they could have been told that they could not fix it instead of blaming my ipad not having case for batteries plus poor/improper workmanship. I want a refund and they can return my screen to me if they want to return my ipad the way they received it, but to even offer to return my ipad to me broken with no screen is very unprofessional and pernicious, unless they can give me my ipad the way I gave it to them to repair. read more
