Phenomenal!!…read more10/10 I was so impressed with the quality of strawberries and the pistachio cream which I found out is homemade by the owners. The wife makes it from scratch. The chocolate is decadent and creamy. I had a small strawberry and my husband had a small strawberry and banana cup. The owner Orson is the nicest guy and super friendly. It's located outside across from Sprouts. There's plenty of parking available in the lot. We will definitely be back!

I'm not usually a fan of overly sweet coffee, so I opted for half-sweet, and it was absolutely perfect. The balance between the coffee and milk was spot-on, something many cafés surprisingly miss. Their pastries are also delicious and pair perfectly with the coffee. Prices are a little on the higher side, but considering it's located in a mall, it's honestly to be expected. Overall, a great spot for quality coffee and a sweet treat!

We decided to grab a light brunch/lunch at the Topanga Social before shopping. The tempting…read moredisplay of cakes and pastries at Pompadour Cafe drew us in. There seemed to be a steady stream of customers ordering drinks. I believe we were the first to order food, which may have caused some of the confusion. The daughter chose the Dubai Chocolate Crepe and Vanilla Matcha. The husband ordered the Wagyu Roast Beef Sandwich (no arugula). I was excited to see the Traditional Kanafe, which I have not had in a while, so I had to give it a try. The husband also wanted one, so we ordered two. We were given pager #1 and we then sat at a nearby table. The Wagyu sandwich came out first, but my husband didn't want to start eating without us. About 10 minutes later, the crepe came out. The wait seemed to get longer from there, so I had them start eating. The Vanilla Matcha was ready next. Then it all stopped. After a couple people who ordered after us were served, I went up to ask about our Kanafe. Given the surprise on their faces, it seemed that this was overlooked. It took several minutes to prepare each one and they came out separately. We were given 2 free cookies for the wait. Lovely presentations and nice portions. The crepe was larger than expected -- decadent and delicious. The daughter enjoyed it. The sandwich was also very good. The Kanafe itself was wonderful and just as I remembered. I would have preferred a bit more rose water syrup. The dry, hard sesame bread didn't go well with it (imo). Overall a good experience. The food is worth the return, but hopefully service improves.

I enjoy sweets and desserts, so I was willing to try out one of Gooey's rice krispy treat flavors…read moreafter getting a bite of the original. Both recipes were made nicely with a soft , light, and fluffy texture. If you've ever eaten rice krispies before, you know that they can be quite sticky. Compared to that brand you eat growing up, this one is prepared flat like a cookie. So it's not a thick rectangular bar. I thought it was very interesting that each 'cookie' was pretty big and $6.99. They have a promo where you buy three you get one free, so a four pack would end up being $19.99. I knew to just get one because of the size of the krispy treat. It all came down to which flavor to choose!!! I ended up getting the cookie butter one because I love Biscoff cookies also. Anyways, the dessert was made well, but I don't think I'm a fan of this style of desserts. I think I'm more of an ice cream fan. Worth a try though!!
