Hotel is nice, service is very nice. Rooms are spacious but poorly lit. No light by the full length mirror. You can check your outfit but not use it for make up when the bathroom is steamed up or in use by someone else. Entrance area can light doesn't reach to that part of the room. There were 3 of us so this was really annoying. The rooms have dark paneling, dark art and dark paint/wall coverings. So no light from the lamps bounces around. There is space for luggage for 3 people when you use the floor. But there's no light to see what's in those bags. There's also some night light lighting under the artwork overtop of the beds. It cannot be turned off so if you need a dark room to sleep bring an eye mask. Seems counter to the rest of the darkness of the room and black out shades.

My wife stayed at this hotel from 4/9/25 - 4/11/25. We have Ambassadors Elite Status. She was there with her mother. Her mother is very sick and needed all the attention my wife could give her. Upon checking out, my wife was struggling with her mother and all eyes and attention was on her. We live in Flower Mound, Texas. My wife notice she did not have her wedding ring about halfway home on the freeway. She call the hotel immediately. She talk to a housekeeper supervisor name, Virginia and one of the hotel managers. They told her the ring was not there. My wife had this ring coming up on 26 years , June 2025. My son gave my wife a nice bracelet that he made for Christmas, that was stolen also. Cannot put a value on that. The Wedding Ring and Wedding Band cost over $34,000.00. Police Report has been made. Do I expect to got this ring back? No, I do not. When you leave property behind in a hotel, and house keeper take it and not return it to owner, that's called "Felony Theft" in Louisiana, not lost. Up to 20 years in jail. Corporate Marriott will be notified next.

Great hotel! Well-maintained, clean, modern and spacious rooms, nice hotel bar/restaurant, and in a convenient area to get around Baton Rouge. My only complaint, which they can't really change is the road noise from I10. Some may find the sound of continuous cars driving by as relaxing, but it's fairly noisy. I don't really mind it, but if your TV is off and you're trying to go to sleep, you will 100% hear the cars.. quite a few loud 18-wheelers too up and down I10.

It's good experience. Front desk staff is very accommodating. It's close to I-10 and some primo dining Sullivan's and Raising g Canes across the street. (Primo for every budget). It's 5 minute drive from a whole foods and some good retail along with a Flemming's steakhouse and some good boutique BBQ. In house restaurant ain't half bad either and couple with fairly comfortable beds this is a great value, especially compared to many of the other places in close proximity that are in of an update.

I've been here several times and this time was awful! When I arrived (female by herself- at night) my door was cracked open. When I told the front desk they brushed it off as housekeeping did it. Okay that's understandable, but offer a new room or to walk me up! When I got in the TV was on, now I know why because the remote was missing. Also the cleanliness was 4/10. When I went on a search for the remote I realized how dirty underneath (open concept) bed was and it gave me the creeps. Now it's 5am and I'm getting up - listening to an alarm (not my alarm) next door. Last night was constant shouting in the hallways too - take me back home!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights for the 2nd time. I love this hotel. The rooms and common areas are always clean, the beds are comfortable, and I love the shower! The hardwood floors is much better than carpet. I was able to utilize the pool this time which is good size. There is not a microwave in the room but there is a microwave in hotel store area. It's in walking distance to Krabqueenz and a short drive to a main trip with plenty of restaurants. Will always be my first choice in Baton Rouge.

Stayed here for a week in February, 2012 and I really enjoyed my time here. The staff were fabulous and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. I didn't have any trouble at all with the quality of the bed or an over-abundance of noise from either outside traffic or other guests. Luckily, I had a room with access to the Concierge Lounge, and that was a huge help to me as this trip was all business. WiFi in the room was a decent connection, but sometimes you just don't want to be sitting in the room when you have to work. The Lounge gave me a chance to work without feeling pent up, and there were snacks! Yay! If there was one thing that bugged me during my stay, it would be that housekeeping would actually replace my open bathroom amenities every day. Seems like a waste. (I'm sure some folks like that, but I'm more of a 'let me use it all up' kinda gal) I would definitely stay here again if I had to be here for business for less than a week. Anything more than that and I'd probably want to stay at a Residence Inn type of place.

As a Bonvoy Gold member, I received plenty of snacks and drinks as a warm welcome, which I appreciated. I do not often see hotels go above and beyond the way TownePlace Suites did. The rooms were freshly cleaned and organized, which was great, but the two air conditioner controls were a bit perplexing. I had to find the controls, though there was a note saying they were by the back of the window. Removing the redundant climate control by the front door would be useful and would reduce confusion. I had a pleasurable stay, and the breakfast bar was really good with a quick-make waffle machine and stellar options. I will consider staying at another TownePlace Suites property in the near future.

We are one family of the many thousands that have come through Louisiana to be able to attend and participate in the 2025 USBC Open Championships, a nationwide bowling tournament. She is so sweet and so polite. We asked her for many food recommendations, and all of the spots that she named were phenomenal. Now, we are not from here. So, maybe our idea of what is phenomenal to us may not be the same for others. But I can guarantee you one thing, The food places that were suggested to us not only served great food, but also they served up GR8 service. Everybody's attitudes were so enthusiastic and positive. Not to mention, we are in the south, everyone was so polite. There really is such a thing still as southern comfort and southern hospitality. We received both by staying here, at this hotel. This hotel was definitely clean and comfortable, well lit, and not super modern, but definitely not at all close to being outdated. I like that the pool area is open fairly late into the day and that towels and things are removed constantly. The restroom and icemaker areas are clean and kept that way all throughout the day and evening. The breakfast varies day-to-day. For example, yesterday there were waffles and breakfast sandwiches, eggs, bacon, sausage, patties, cereal, bagels, and other bread items available in addition to four or five may be different types of milk, and two kinds of yogurt. And today, many of the same items were offered along with biscuits and gravy. Nothing about this hotel has disappointed us one bit. All of the appliances in our room are in working condition. Dish, dishwashing detergent and sponges, coffee, utensils, some basic flatware, and other dishes of various types are available. There's also a long listing of different appliances and things that are available to be borrowed from the front desk. The one that really shocked us was a rice cooker. Room rates were definitely reasonable. And even more so now that I've seen the hotel, the room that we were given, all the things. You definitely get what you pay for. I have stayed in rooms that have costed four or five even seven times more than what I paid for this one and in comparison, while this one may not seem as fancy, it definitely offered more to me and was more valuable to me because I had all the things I needed to keep my family comfortable during this trip. Oh, and did I mention? Parking here is absolutely free. The hotel is very close to the freeway on ramp as well. That makes it very nice, on and off the freeway as we please very easily. Ever you were looking for a hotel in Baton Rouge I would stay here again, without question or hesitation !

No worries, I told her but to please contact the front desk. She said I don't know who told yall it was ready but do you see it's not ready? Anyway we made our way back to the lobby, got another room, got in a different elevator, and noticed the disgusting odor again. We get off on our floor and it smells awful like a ranch mixed with urine. The room also smelled musty and like a wet dog. We tried to look past that but then there was also a disgusting hair ball on the floor, stains on the bedding and curtains, and the just total ick. I give one star to the kind lady at the restaurant and check-in and for the view of the Mississippi River. Unfortunately we were not comfortable at all during our stay. Now I'm not filling up on this sides cause I want my moneys worth. It was $39.99 a person for the crabs. The waitress would come peek and see if you was running low and then she would bring you another bucket or pan of crabs.
