Terrible experience. Was told by sales rep Linda Roth, a shelf needed to come out in order for the tub to fit. No problem. The day of install comes and the shelf doesn't fit. Kyle who did a good job says a temp fix is duct tape and the shelf which is fine but assures me that bath fitter will make it right. Linda contacts her manager Madi who never responds and I'm then given Madi's number who also doesn't respond to me. Amazing customer service if I say so myself. Linda then comes back two weeks later after rudely telling me to "be patient" when I ask for updates.. fine, I play along. Two weeks, yes two weeks later, she comes back and says it's my fault? And that they will not fix the issue. That's what this company came up with lol. Please, safe yourself a massive headache and don't use this joke of a company. read more

Bath Fitters finished on Friday replacing the tub with a walk-in shower.. My elderly father attempted to take a shower on Saturday but the water wouldn't drain at all. Called Greg the sales guy and he said to my 90 year old mother to hash it out with the Bath Fitter plumber who did the work. We tried 2 days in a row but they wouldn't return our calls so we called a regular plumber who pulled out a glob of caulking. What this also means too is that there is NO WARRANTY as claimed. If they won't even return a call then this is nothing but a hit and run outfit right? The DESERVE this rating. For those of you who things went well for then good for you but anyone else thinking of doing business with them should beware. read more

We had baths fitter come in 2006. Over 15 years eventually there was a couple of cracks and some glue was not sticking. Bath fitters came and gave us a whole new bath tub shower unit. For free. It's guaranteed for life. They are even coming back to give me my towel rail. I can't recommend this company more highly. Had 2 bathrooms done not long ago, now theres a 10 inch crack in my upstairs tub. I called and they said it was a lifetime warranty but I had to pay for someone to put it in?? What kind of warranty is that!! I had to send her pictures and I did and what kind of cleaner I used. A week and half later I have not heard anything I call today and the owner is supposed to call me but he is not in the office he wasn't in last time either. Doesn't he have a cell phone? Am I not supposed to take a shower I have water leaking into my downstairs unit. And when I call today she is rude cutting me off then hung up on me! read more

Bath fitters are horrible. They just cover up the problem and leave the old tub underneath to rot. Mine cracked and caused a huge leak which has now cost us $10K to rip it all out down to the studs and replace it with a real tub and shower. Beware of the "lifetime warranty". It isn't real and this location was very unhelpful and not particularly friendly except for the guy that came out to take a look. He was very nice. read more

Terrible, nightmare best way to describe our experience. We paid almost $5,000 for a new tub and shower enclosure. It took over 13 hours to install and 4 hours for me to clean the dust and plaster he left behind. Not including the chip in my new sink, the scratch on the front door front stairs and chips in the entry way paint. The gave a great sales pitch and so sorry we will take care of this but never did. As a matter of fact the owner, Mr. Cullen was the one who was replacing the chipped sink, we waited hours and when we called him he didnt know who we were, forgot all about us. I guess he never planned on coming. Stay away find a reputable company. read more

Here we are having lunch and planning to go to Bath Fitters in Stoneham. I checked their website this morning and it stated "Open today 10:00_4:00." Decided to have lunch at China Moon in Stoneham and proceed to the Elm Street show room. I just checked yo get the directions and was greeted with "Closed today.". Are you kidding me? How ridiculously unprofessional. I hope they ate enjoying their Saturday. They just wanted mine. Things happen for a reason. If they can't be trusted to post their tomes of operation responsibly, they can't be trusted renovating my mothet's bathroom. We'll try Rebath, hopefully they know their hours of operation. Beware of the typical smiling salesmanlike, but not informative, estimator. The estimator offered no fruitful wisdom and wasted my time. Shame on the company for not asking the right questions before he showed up at my door to waste my time and his. I had no idea that you could not put a fitter on a fiberglass shower and tub without a complete rehab of taking everything out until the estimator showed up. When I told the estimator that I did not know this and did not want to do this, I asked if there were any alternatives so I could just change the color. He didn't offer much, but said "well you can paint it with marine paint like they use on boats". His response and method didn't seem right to me at all. I thought, just paint it with special paint? And do it myself? Now that seems like a shoddy DIY for someone who has been stuck living in a money pit of a 165 yr old home for 12 years trying to fix/rehab/update things before they fall apart again. After I researched, I soon discovered refinishing. Couldn't he have mentioned this? Instead he asks me where a good breakfast place would be when I quickly learn to say thank you and goodbye. Sorry, I have no time or energy to waste on smiling salespeople who don't offer the right quality services or goods. Maybe shame on me for not doing my homework completely like I always do, but can't I not have figure it out myself or google it for once. Good customer service/business is knowing or relating to your potential customers, their needs, living demographic and circumstance(s). I hope that my initial impression is just an isolated incident and that their other reps, service, and work do not fall by the same manner. read more

DO NOT GO TO BATHFITTER! I was all excited for them to come and do our bathroom, until it turned into a nightmare. They came to do our shower/bathtub. They put up the walls and shower heads, when the installer came and said there's a defect in the tub from the factory and it will take 2 WEEKS! Mind you we are remodeling the whole bathroom so this sets us back. So the guy from the office calls and we ask is there anything you can do? He says no discount the only thing il do is throw in a dish soap. SERIOUSLY!?!? Then he proceeds to tell us it's not an inconvenience because the shower is still functional. Ok buddy we are remodeling so yes it is. When I tell him that and I would call it even if instead of the standard doors we are getting if they could give us the bigger ones. He tells me no the only thing he will give us is the soap dish. To make this story betttter my grandmother is getting hers done by them in a few days and I tell him listen we are giving you business my grandma is spending $9,000 with you, and my family owns tons of property and were gonna do them all with you guys but not now because of how I am being treated. I couldnt believe how they spoke to us. Veryyy rude and ignorant pretty much saying screw you deal with it. Now I have to go buy a shower curtain and a rod I will only use for 2 weeks then throw it away, and according to them this all is not an inconvenience. Trust me go elsewhere !! read more
