Prompt response, on time arrival. Reasonable rate. Clearly someone with an in depth knowledge of IT.

I've all the technology I need and it's fantastic kit. I also grumble about poor service and what I see as their staff being unhelpful especially in the Orlando store where the 'rules' on selling new phones were so bizarre in 2022 they could not sell me the new phone I wanted and had near $2000 to give them. I mean they overturned precisely the maxim of what retail is about - the art of selling goods that don't come back to customers that do. I've an old Apple iPhone that I will upgrade this winter in the UK (for the first time ever) but it works perfectly well, it serves me well and I no longer need state of the art sophistication but compromise is sensible as the pace of technological change is remarkable - a sophisticated computer in your pocket. The two issues I had are now one; that the battery now runs down quite quickly. The second was powering up the phone which this store resolved lickety-split.

Yesterday was my first ever time attending an Apple Store and what an awesome experience it was to!…read more After contacting online agents about my cracked iPhone 6S screen, I was told I would need to go to my nearest Apple Store for a replacement screen. Upon arriving I must admit I didn't know that I was meant to "check in" in the middle of the store. But a member of staff was kind enough to sign me in at the Genius Bar anyway. Within ten minutes my iPhone was booked in and we were given a waiting time of 2 hours so went off shopping. Came back 2 hours later and my phone was handed back to me good as new. Was all that simple even on such a busy Saturday running up to Christmas. Possibly the best custom service I've ever received.

The screen of my MacBook Pro stopped working 1 week before Christmas and being a Graphic Design…read morestudent, I had lots of work to do over the Christmas period. It was a 2 week wait at the Apple Store, so I found this place online and took my laptop in. I had only had my MacBook for 7 months, and had purchased the 3 year extended warranty, so expected it to be straightforwards. It has a few little scratches on the outside and a very very small dent on one of the corners. I was informed that if this meant it wasn't under warranty according to Apple's standards they would charge me full price, but that they thought it would be okay. A week or so later (I can't remember exactly how long) I received a call to say the whole display had to be replaced and it wasn't under warranty so would cost me upwards of £600. This would take time, so I decided to wait until I was back in London and get it fixed there. When I picked my laptop up, I was charged £30 for their services (which would have been 100% free if it was in warranty). I then took it to the Apple Store in Covent Garden, where they told me it definitely was within my 1 year free warranty, and they would do the whole repair FREE OF CHARGE. I had been warned against going to Farpoint by several people before I went, but didn't listen as I was desperate. I was without a laptop for an entire month, and the whole situation ended up costing me an unnecessary £30, which for a student just after Christmas is a lot of money. I'm just glad I didn't make the decision to spend my rent money on the repair, and waited for a second opinion. I would never go here again, in my opinion it is very deserving of it's nickname 'NoPoint'.

I decided to get a portable charger from Farpoint rather than Amazon, to support a local business…read morebut don't feel they deserve my support in future. I had to wait over 5 minutes for the customer ahead of me, which may be unavoidable, but then you hope there'd be an acknowledgement of your wait; nothing, in fact, he didn't even say hello. I handed over the charger I'd found myself and asked if that was the only type they sold, which he confirmed but didn't give me any feedback on it or try to sell it to me. I commented that I'd sent a message through their website the previous day but not had any response, and he just said it had probably gone into Spam. No apology and I felt I was inconveniencing him! As I left, I thanked him but received no response. In a word, disappointing.

It's fine. I think it's one of the only laundromats in town, so don't have any fancy expectations…read more I was traveling and it was my one of my only chances to do laundry. Things to note: ***Before you go, don't forget to BRING YOUR CHANGE*** There is no change machine and the prices are not insignificant (several pounds total for just one load of wash and dry). When I went, the other shops were also closed--and from what I heard, also often don't make change, especially for the amount needed for the machines. Take note of the hours, and it sounds like they will close promptly, so give yourself enough time before closing. Find it about halfway down a corridor of shops. It's all self service, no attendant, just a phone number if assistance is needed. Soap is available for purchase from a dispenser. There are different machine types to choose from, the larger capacity wash machines of course changes more. The machines that I used worked fine, and were relatively quick.

This is a quiet laundrymat…read more Three large machines closed. 2 dryers closed. 4 one lb coins on smaller standard washer. 28 minutes on cold. 3 coins on dryer, 30 minutes on high. No coin machine. We brought our own soap pods. Soap dispenser does work one coin. 2 benches to sit on for the wait. Bring a book. Others leave and return, but not exact on the clock. So we stayed to be sure to get the last dryer available. Running now. No lights on, kind of dim. Open 8-8 , but last wash to go in before 7. Sign posted. He may lock you out. Big sign. Machines look clean enough, no visible Pet hair. This will work. Another 9 days of clothes and we ll be off..
