Every time I visit the store, I am always greeted with a friendly face from someone near the front and always receive some type of acknowledgement as I leave. I have been shopping here for over 12yrs. I'm leaving a review specifically for this exact Bath and Body works cause oh my goodness I have never met a staff member so friendly. A worker named Cadence (I'm assuming Retail sales associate or just sales associate.) quite literally made my year. I was having an AWFUL day after putting up with an annoying individual--later that day I walked into Bath and Body Works with some of my family and as if an angel was flying down gracefully from the sky to save us, Cadence greets us. As we were browsing some of the new stock, Cadence helps me out to find the best purchase I could make for what I was looking for, and was unbelievably friendly while doing so. We had a conversation for a bit and it was the best conversation I've had with anybody in all of my life, and I'm not even over exaggerating. Cadence is such a lovely individual and I am not joking when I say this, but I will be naming my first born child after Cadence. read more

I have always had good experiences at Bath and Body Works, but today they did a great job. I had a candle that just would not stay lit, so I took it in to see what they could do. Initially at the front, the employee was very unsure about what could be done, especially as they have changed policies. I took my candle to an employee at the register and she said that I could swap it for a brand new one without any issue. It seems like a small thing, but the simple, smooth process made my day. Came in because I needed to buy a gift set for a baby shower I was throwing. I came in and asked the ladies for help, explaining to them exactly what I needed and for what reason. Luckily there was a huge sale going on so it was easy to stay within my budget and find a great prize for the game we would be playing at the shower. Every time I've come into this location, the store is always very clean, smells amazing (as it should I mean it's Bath & Body Works, right?), everything is easy to find and everyone working is eager to help. These are by far the rudest group of unsmiling women I've ever had to deal with. Very inconsiderate and act like it's a burden to sell you bath products. Even if you buy $200 worth of items they try to cram as much as they can into a small single bag, then if you ask for a bigger bag they roll their eyes and make a huge scene. I can't believe a franchise is operating this way. I won't be shopping at this location any more, the energy in the store is so negative and unhappy. read more

Worst customer service ever! Clearly someone should not be checking people out. As I was checking out I was talking to my grandson and my mask happen to fall slightly below my nose but even before I had a chance to pull it back up - Cashier #3373681 rudely tells put your mask on. I was surprised by her condescending tone and made me feel like a child being scolded. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of attitude coming from a cashier. I understand with Covid everyone being cautious however a polite reminder and "please" would have been the right thing to do. To make matters worse as I'm walking out the door I see several people not wearing masks and quite a few with masks hanging down - all right in front of several sales associates and nobody telling them to put their mask back on. I even mentioned this to the lady at the door and she acted like it was no big deal. Well I will not go back there ever to shop - rude rude sales associates! read more

I am a new customer of Bath & Body works and just had the most frustrating experience. I recently bought some Christmas gift cards at The Forum location. The clerk signed me up for the rewards program. I ended up with 2 reward offers. One was for a free item- up to $16.95 value. The other was for $10 off a $30 purchase. So off I go to the store to use these rewards. "Due to computer issues, they couldn't process these rewards at their register. So they tell me to order them online(while in the store) for store pickup. Then I could use these rewards. About 45 minutes later and with the "help". - I use that term VERY loosely- of 3 sales clerks.... I leave empty handed. The website wasn't working either??? Or do they think people will just give in and full price since they are standing there already? Rip off, anyone? read more

Well done Bath and Bodyworks at this location. I was offered assistance as soon as I walked in by a gentleman named Cody. He was very friendly and was there if I needed anything. Also a huge shout out to belle. She checked me out at the register and was a huge sweetheart. The customer service here at this location is definitely a 10 out of 10. Came today because my mom wanted to load up on the shea creams, all priced at $3 down from regular price of $12.50! The staff was so friendly and when my mom mentioned the creams were gifts for all the females in her life, the lady gave her bags, ribbons, and greeting cards for each bottle! The Selma/Forum location is my favorite Bath and Body Works store in the San Antonio Metro area. The staff is always super friendly and helpful and the Manager, Sandra is awesome and runs a great store. The recent remodel is BEAUTIFUL and the store is always clean and organized. Kudos! read more

Too pushy!! Leave me alone!! Sometimes I want help sometimes I'm fine I don't need a huge speech on ur new product line. I want to walk around in peace and smell candles and buy what I like. There is this one overly pushy lady and I usually dodge her but when she finds me or someone to talk to watch out she will talk ur head off. read more

It seems like a great store, nice and big and the people who work there were nice. I went up to the counter and asked for a specific lotion that the website was advertising and they had NONE. She did go look in the back, but I'm not sure how a store that has mainly lotions can run out of their advertised product. So I'm rating this 3 stars.
