By now you probably are familiar with Yankee; I know they've caught a lot of criticism since changing hands, but I never really had issues. And if anyone was gonna, I would. I only buy the large jars/tumblers, because I go through several in a month and my stash is usually 190-250 candles at a given moment. I've only ever returned/exchanged like, six, and four of those happened all at once this past week. So it's good product for me ( and is not the priciest brand I buy). This is the only retail outlet I've visited but staff is always friendly and helpful without being super in-your-face, which I LOATHE. I love LUSH, for example, but I dread going there because every employee descends and commences to cling to you like a monkey. It's almost assaultive if you're shy or anxious about conversation, and so I'm glad the Yankee employees don't quite get to that level of 'helpfulness'. They wrap everything securely and if I have a big haul (last time it was maybe 8 or 10 large jars) they even helped me get it to my car, so I didn't have to bring hubby to be my candle Sherpa or make two trips to the car. Nice!!! I don't require hand holding picking out a scent anymore, but if you need ideas or have questions, they are competent (I listen to them making suggestions to others). The return policy is very lenient; you should be able to shop with confidence. As far as price, yes, they are expensive from a simple dollars standpoint. However, they last a long time, making price per hour of use very reasonable, and there is almost ALWAYS a coupon if you go to the website and sign up. I get them in the mail occasionally and online CONSTANTLY. BOGO, B2G2, B3G3, $15 off 40, 50 off 100, free item with purchase, all kinds of things. The coupons almost all work in-store, though some are online-only and some (rare) are in-store only. If you find it pricey, SIGN UP for email. You can make out like a bandit! Yay for the Woodlands Mall store! EDIT: they weren't moving, they were just remodeling. They are still upstairs across from Bath & Body Works near the food court.

At this time, I knew that some of the items were out of stock, and therefore would be delayed for one week: "Note: As noted during checkout, if you ordered items which exceeds our current stock quantity shown below your order might be delayed up to 7 days." A couple days later on December 4, 2012, I was informed of the following: "The estimated time to receive the out of stock items from our supplier is 5 business days. Once these items are received your order will be shipped complete and you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number." On December 20th, I called to inquire about my order, sent a message via the form on their website, as well as replied to my shipping order confirmation email, and to this day have not heard back from their customer service department (if they have one) in any capacity via any contact method. While I was traveling on my trip, the day after Christmas, on December 26, 2012, I was notified via email that my order was shipped (in full, at the cost of $71) - well after its expected arrival, and not in time for its intended purpose - and I was finally given a tracking number. However, ironically, my credit card was actually charged on December 21, 2012 for the odd amount of $61 - both an incorrect amount, and not at all in alignment with the shipping notification email / tracking number (dated December 26, 2012). It is now January 9, 2013, and I am back from my trip, and am opening the contents of this rather mysterious package - who knows what products and the quantity of which I will find! Everything with this company and order seems to have gone terribly wrong, and I am most displeased - yet there is no one to whom to direct my customer feedback. Just opened the package, and it seems they sent 5 of my 6 products - one is still backordered. They have not informed me when I should expect this product. As much as I want to return this entire order, I'm not even sure how to go about a return considering I cannot get ahold of the customer service department, and they refuse to contact me. Everything is suppose to be made with natural ingredients. She informed me about their anti aging products, body care, face care, and hair products. I was informed that their products including the hair care products are highly concentated and that you don't need to use much. I believe they carry other products also. For my first visit the info on the above products was plenty of info to take in since she went into detail. I receive some free samples and actually spent quite a bit of time checking out the vast variety of product line. They have boutiques worldwide and even have an I phone app if you want to download them. The products are from Provence. If you're at Market Street in The Woodlands stop by for an informative free discussion for your face and body care. Product prices are moderate to pricey. I've tried the samples for the anti aging skin care and actually liked them but I haven't purchased anything in quantity yet because I'm using up my other brand stuff first.
