That high tea for my birthday (Shout out to Sam L)... Maybe about that dope spot in San Francisco w the chandelier But Ima do this hand cream rightchea'! The L'Occitane hand cream is like whipped butter. Whipped gold. Whipped Benz on ice. Whipped cream on strawberry shortcakes. Beyonce. Never have I had a hand cream so thick, yet so light and super absorbent. It doesn't leave an oily residue. It is theeeeee best hand cream of all time, and it leaves your skin looking the way God intended: Smooth and Heavenly. I looked at an ice cream pic I recently took and saw cracks in my hand in the photo. I was like, "Uh oh. Time to bust out the L'Occitane." Shout out to The Woodlands Market Street location. The service is always on point. You introduced me to this stuff and I'm forever grateful. I'm the main photo now. That's what I'm talkin' bout. Drop the $30 for the hand cream, Yelp. It's worth it.

This was my first time visiting this store and was quite impressed by their products. A lady named Debbie helped me and was very thorough discussing their product lines with me. Everything is suppose to be made with natural ingredients. She informed me about their anti aging products, body care, face care, and hair products. I was informed that their products including the hair care products are highly concentated and that you don't need to use much. I believe they carry other products also. For my first visit the info on the above products was plenty of info to take in since she went into detail. I receive some free samples and actually spent quite a bit of time checking out the vast variety of product line. They have boutiques worldwide and even have an I phone app if you want to download them. The products are from Provence. If you're at Market Street in The Woodlands stop by for an informative free discussion for your face and body care. Product prices are moderate to pricey. I've tried the samples for the anti aging skin care and actually liked them but I haven't purchased anything in quantity yet because I'm using up my other brand stuff first. That's why I am giving a 4 star at this time.

The cut itself was acceptable, so I scheduled a roller-set service with the same stylist the following week. Prior to the appointment, I specifically asked the stylist whether she knew how to use tension rollers. She confirmed that she did, though she noted that I would need to bring my own rollers, pins, and setting lotion. However, midway through the appointment it became clear that she did not know how to perform the service. Even after I provided a demonstration video, she was unable to execute the technique. At that point, I was exhausted, disappointed, and disheartened. Compounding the issue, I had already been upcharged because my hair was described as having "texture"--despite being a combination of 3C and 3A. When I decided to pivot and simply have my hair blow-dried, flat-ironed, and curled, I was informed that curling would incur an additional fee because of my "textured" hair. I found this troubling, as I felt misled, targeted, and ultimately penalized for my natural hair type. When I asked whether every client with curly hair received this additional charge, the stylist said no--only those with "textured hair." Yet when I asked for a clear definition of "textured," her explanation was inconsistent and vague. The implication was unmistakable: the pricing structure appeared less about curl pattern and more about race. Ulta, whether intentional or not, the policy as it was explained to me functioned as a "Black tax." It is unacceptable, and for that reason, I will not return. Plus my hair looked like I had not been to the salon a few hours later.

After noshing on beignets at a Humble area coffee shop, my friend, her husband, and I decided to…read morehit up The Woodlands Mall to sightsee and enjoy. Pretty good way to enjoy a Saturday afternoon in December. The Woodlands Mall is a large regional mall in The Woodlands, Texas. Not far from Houston, but far enough to be in its own community without venturing into the city center where you can buy a lot of stuff for your everyday needs. With that said, we arrived here around 1pm and found parking almost immediately. We found a good spot and was practically near one of the entrances. We probably spent about an hour here before ended up at the main food court. There was a lot of name brand stores here that I recognize and some regional ones that I do not. I window shopped for the time I spent here and it was nice to be able to just decompress and be on vacation for once. The mall itself was very busy and had a lot of people at any given time. I guess it can be like The Galleria but smaller. Still, it was loaded with a lot of eye candy and plenty of opportunities to spend money. Eventually, I ended up at the food court since I was starving and did not have a proper breakfast. Ended up getting some Popeyes. The overall experience here at The Woodlands Mall was quite nice. Spent the afternoon with my friend and her husband for 1/2 hour before splitting up. They wanted Jamba Juice where I wanted a Popeyes. So, I got my Popeyes and they returned with their Jamba creations within 20 minutes. I enjoyed the food court seating area, which was crowded, but at the time of the day I was, there was enough open spots for me to sit and eat a bit. The Woodlands Mall is very clean and it was a pleasure to be there. Not sure if they had public wifi or not, I didn't use it during my time here in the mall. However, there was public restroom facilities here for anyone and everyone who shop here. And with that said, I felt like the mall is as cozy as it can be. With it being the shopping destination that it is without heading into Houston proper, you can bet that it's as good as a shopping destination mecca it can. The dining and shopping is good, complete with your favorites. There is upscale dinning options inside the mall to your fast food favorites at the 2nd level food court and elsewhere on the 1st level of the mall. The Woodlands Mall is located in The Woodlands, Texas. It's about 30 miles away from downtown Houston. It's located at 1201 Woodlands Drive. It's right of I-45 and with its dedicated off ramp to get into the mall and the surrounding areas. Most, if not all merchants, in the mall accept major credit cards, as well as cash. As far as parking goes, there's plenty of parking here for anyone and everyone who drives. I'm not sure about whether or not there is regional public transportation in The Woodlands, but best bet would be to have a car or rent one for peace and security. There's always Uber or Lyft at your disposal, but the cheapest way would be to have your own car. And so, if you love to people watch, walking the malls, even just window shop, or go to town in the food court, consider coming to The Woodlands Mall and enjoy the ambiance and shop to you drop! My time was brief but definitely nice and happy. Consider your next stay here in the Mall and in The Woodlands, Texas. Definitely a nice stop to hang out in. It does get noisy, so you may want to seek out a quieter spot inside the mall for some quiet time. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! B
