I can't help but think that the people who write negative reviews about this place just don't know what Rag & Bone is and what to expect. Sure it's expensive, but the quality is superior, the style is unlike anything else, and you will always find unique, well made pieces. Over the few years that I lived in DC, I would frequent this store and have since acquired many timeless pieces. They also often offer great sales so I have gotten some great deals on amazing items. Love this brand, love this location, and love the high level of customer service.

Her pieces are absolutely beautiful, classic in a fun way, and top tier quality. The fabrics are sumptuous. And she carries lovely accessories to give outfits a fun twist. But a stumbling block in the DC shop is inconsistent service. One day I had a lovely shopping experiance and so bought two paris of Ann Mashburn jeans. (Made in America. Cool.) The next time the associate had her noise stuck in her phone and never acknowledged me. On my next visit two associates were talking and again didn't even say hello as I reviewed the racks in silence. I was the only customer on a cold rainy Friday. My visit didn't feel very good. If I want no help, no guidance, and no social interaction I can shop online. Not sure I will go back.

This is hands down, my favourite place to shop in all of D.C!…read more As a seasoned shopaholic, there are a few things that create a shopping experience that make me want to come back for more. This Alice and Olivia boutique has them all, and then some! Let me break down why this store rocks: 1) The clothes! Insert a million heart eyed emoji here. From classy pieces for the boardroom, to rock and roll looks to own a night out in, and elegant gowns for the most sophisticated gala, they have you covered. The fabrics are all quality, and none of the clothes suffer from pulled threads, fraying, or wear and tear the way that cheaper pieces do (ever notice how clothes at Forever 21 are falling apart on the hanger? Yeah, that doesn't happen here.) they also have a few yoga pieces that are really well designed - and the bags and accessories are always tempting! I have bought jeans (they make the best white jeans in the world by the way), cocktail dresses, pencil skirts, and crop tops here. And I seriously considered one of their sequinned gowns as a wedding dress! 2) The service! When I'm shopping, there is a line between attentive service and "please stop hovering so I can actually browse the racks on my own for a minute please". The staff here completely nail this balance! Sometimes I come in, a little under-caffeinated, and they give me space to aimlessly browse the racks and pet all the pretty clothes. Other times I walk in with something in mind and they always make it happen. For me, the real star at this location, and the reason I will keep bringing my business here is Alena. She is the best sales associate I've ever worked with! When I want a piece, she will have it shipped to my house or the boutique if they don't have my size in stock. She will place pieces on hold for me during sales, and messages me when cute pieces come in that I might like. I've received notes in the mail from her congratulating me on my engagement, which is incredibly classy. She always makes shopping at the boutique a fun experience for me and anyone else who comes in with me! I've tried on so many new styles and silhouettes at her encouragement and love the outfits she puts together! 3) No Pressure To Purchase One time I came in because I wanted to look at their Basquiat collection. It had just come in to the store and the girls working there said they hadn't seen any of the pieces on customers yet, would I like to model the whole collection for them? Ummmmmmmmm.... obviously?! I never feel bad trying on pieces and not purchasing anything in the store, and there is never an expectation of purchase when you try on items here. 4) The Shipping It's nice to shop somewhere with an online store too. It means there is more availability, and you can scope out items before you go into the boutique. When you order items online from Alice and Olivia (or have them shipped from the boutique for free - which is what I do) they arrive in a white box, wrapped up in printed tissue paper, with a handwritten note thanking you for your purchase and hoping that your love your new pieces. This review is turning into an epic novel, so here's the skinny: shopping here can be whatever you want it to be - a party with your girlfriends, a focused shopping expedition, or a solitary browse. One thing that is consistent is perfect service and a selection of beautiful clothes with styles and shapes to suit everyone.

It took them more then a week every time. The first time I went there it was fine. They called me a couple days when the medicine was ready. After the 2nd and 3rd refills it went down hill after that. What I don't understand is that they had updated my phone number already the first time so I'm not sure why the manager (she sucks). She was the one with the southern accent. You can't miss her accent and her son work there too. When I went today to get the medicine the manager verify my old number again when they had already update phone number to begin with and it was also on the refills so why didn't they call or text when the medicine was ready to be picked up. The manager ask me to calm down and I was. I just was just frustrated. How dumb can you get? I also called and left a message for them on 1/17 and they never called me so I went there today 1/26 and it was just sitting in there bin. Obviously if they listen to my message that I left on 1/17 they would find out what my phone number is but no one bother to call. If I was not able to go today to get my daughter's medicine in which she really need who knows when she will be able to take it. It would probably be seating in their bin for a whole month. smh. Again I would not highly recommend this place even if the pharmacist said Walmart would not be able to mix the medicine for my daughter. The last time I was in a Sally's store was two years ago in Kentucky. I bought Dashing Diva Gel X kit , gel glue, and Magic Gel remover after the helpful sales associate, Aykisha, mentioned it to me and how she was highly satisfied using it as a manicurist. She was very helpful in talking about the products there and answering all my questions. I purchased Roux Clean Touch Haircolor Stain Remover bottle, the most popular and useful item I always get from Sally's. It lasts me about two years or more. I , also, bought some hair color shampoo to sample and see if it was a better & easier option to enhance my hair color. I thought of buying a primer and bonder for coloring my hair yet decided to look more into it before purchasing them immediately. I couldn't get sufficient input about those products from the sales associates there. I paid about $75 for all these products and was satisfied with my purchases. Overall, I am satisfied with the store, their products, and the service.
