Honest Review The…read morecandle-making experience itself was enjoyable, and we had a great time creating our candles. Unfortunately, the owner's behavior made the overall experience uncomfortable. We were running late, but I called ahead of time to let her know, and she told me that it was okay. Despite that, she repeatedly brought up how late we were throughout the experience, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. There were also a few spills and things that got knocked over while we were participating. Instead of simply correcting us or helping us, she made comments about needing sage and made several subtle remarks that came across as rude and judgmental. The tone and comments made us feel unwelcome rather than relaxed and able to enjoy the experience. I understand having rules and expectations for customers, but there is a professional and respectful way to communicate them. Unfortunately, the owner's attitude took away from what could have been a really great experience. The actual candle-making was fun, but because of how we were treated, I would be hesitant to return.

I attended an event here at the Chandlery. I have never been to a candle making place and wasn't…read moresure what to expect but everything was thoughtfully planned out and broken down to make it as easy and fun as possible! You're allowed to BYOB and bring snacks for your event The simplified explanation is you pick the vessel you want, which range in prices, then you pick your scents (there's a ton to choose from and you can smell them to get a feel for which you prefer), then you have a seat and the chandler pours hot wax for you, you add your scents and then you can add some final accoutrements like gems, glitter or dried flowers, and voilà! The whole process lasts 60-90 minutes. The candles take a day to set so you leave your custom creation there and pick it up the next day or thereafter! It was an absolute blast and I can't wait to come back again with my girl friends sometime! The value is well worth it for an evening of fun and craftiness and a custom item you get to enjoy! Highly recommend!!

A lot of people are not big fans of this perfume store because of the bad stuff that's happened to them, but honestly I like that their prices are cheaper than your general Mall perfume store would be, like the big department stores, and I like some of their selection. A few of the things I noticed they had that I wouldn't expect them to have - and Barbie and I spent quite a few minutes in here checking stuff out and picking up the things we'd like to buy next time it's gift-giving season. Made a checklist of them and will check them again in the next sale. I'm not sure if we will have awful problems when we're trying to return something but honestly I have never tried returning perfumes in the first place which makes me skeptical about some of the reviews LOL.
