The sales staff at this store is soooo pushy :( I've decided not to go here anymore.

I have to just say, I searched the whole store and there were NO Aquarius candles in their zodiac section. Not pleased!

This store is really beautiful with a lot of items that will make your home beautiful. Their fragrance items seem to be a big part of their portfolio, and it's a worthy focus. They have some really nice scents here, ones that I would not have expected to like at all given the combo. For instance, there was one called Strawberry + Violet, and another called Watermelon + Plum that had a nice subtle scent. I don't like violet and would have thought the scents of the second candle would have been too strong and artificial for me, but I ended up buying both. They also have air fresheners that are handmade here, and can be made to have the same scents as the candles. There are a couple of particularly interesting things about the shop. You can come in and make your own candle, as they have a candle bar. I think when she gets there she turns on the crockpot or whatnot to melt the wax and then you can make your candle, so you should contact them if you're interested so you don't come too early before the wax is melted. Similarly, I believe you can make your own air fresheners as well by adding your floral accents and then choosing the scents that you want to add. And even more unique, this shop offers refills of their candles. You can purchase the large candle, and then once it's burned down you can purchase a refill for it. To do this you'd have to practice excellent candle maintenance so that it burned evenly! But I think this is so awesome, and a way of being more environmentally conscious. The owner was friendly and very patient with my questions. I may have sounded like this was the first time I had seen a candle because I was not sure I understood the candle refill thing, and the air freshener option, etc. They also carry items by other local artists, and have home decor items like prints, pillows, reed diffusers, clothing items, and so on. Earth Elements is a must-visit when you're in the area.

So stopping at Bree's Way, which is a new-to-me store (I'm not sure it was here even four years ago when I came home to visit) was a must stop. The woman there was really friendly, but they didn't have anything that called to me. Their jewelry selection was ok but limited; mostly rings and some pendants. They sell some chains for the pendants. They also have a lot of the standard Tarot decks, some esoteric and occult-related merchandise, posters, crystals, and so on. Parking was not bad for me when I visited, but there's not a lot of parking on Alder here. And if you don't know how to parallel park, probably best to avoid parking on the street. There's a parking lot about a block and a half down the street.

The selection of rings was large, very beautiful pieces, and cool descriptions of the many different crystals displayed. Cool selection of posters, candles, teas, and tapestries. It was very cool they had a tarot deck out that you could use..we had fun with this. The woman working was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back when we're in the area

Well, hello bestest place to shop for things I've never seen before - and obviously HAVE TO HAVE!…read more We were recently in Eugene, Oregon, staying at the cutest place (The Gordon Hotel) and I had forgotten my phone charger. It's a Samsung - so it's not a "normal" charger. My hubs found a phone store 1.5 miles away... but before heading out to walk there, we asked the lovely folks at the front desk if there was some place closer. Lo and behold, Sassy Kitchen and Gifts was quite literally, right outside the back door ;-) While our purpose was the phone charger - we were giggling with delight with all the COOLEST stuff that Sassy's has! Yes, the phone charger - she had one that is a 3-in-1 so I can charge EVERYTHING I own for the foreseeable future (it now lives in my purse 24/7). But, we also got a rhinestone wine baseball hat, an artsy ceramic wine stopper, lip tints inside mini wine bottles... and if my budget wasn't focused on buying local Willamette Valley wine, I would have bought TONS more stuff. Sassy's had candles with the funniest sayings, wine tumblers with more funny sayings, TONS of gifts for BRIDES and wedding presents, T-shirts galore that were clever and reflected the Eugene area, candies, treats, items for the pets in your life... I could go on all day. Sassy's was for sure one of our BEST finds in Eugene! And, just in case - I don't want you to miss it! - it's "in" the 5th Street Public Market but on the outside corner and not in the inside middle. It's on the corner. Walk towards The Gordon Hotel, stop before you enter, look right, and you'll see the cute Sassy's sign - poof! Do yourself a favor, check out this cute little boutique & enjoy the laughs you'll have shopping. It's a pure delight!

My two year old did this one herself, put the soil in, the seed in, and some more soil on top. She was happy to see her "baby" had sprouted today! Not much effort was put into starting this seed, given she's two, so I was honestly surprised by its viability lol. I definitely recommend getting seeds from here :) the staff was also very nice, and the prices on the starts and seeds were fair for the quality.

My wife and son were meeting her parents at Beer Garden, and that side of the parking lot was full as always. She parked in one of the empty Grays spots (most of their side was completely empty) to unload our four year old so she could go park somewhere else. Before she was able to move the car, an angry male employee came out and started yelling at her about it. This isn't a place we choose to support anymore, and I'll make sure to tell our friends these people aren't welcoming to their customers. I'd never looked at their yelp profile before, and had no idea how many other issues people have had with them. Do better Grays, get a handle on your attack dogs. We need to feel safe at the businesses we frequent. *Edit* - to add information for other customers After my wife got home, she called the store to complain to the manager, and the person she talked to said they were the owner. They backed up the employee, and didn't make any attempt to apologize or smooth things over. They said they witnessed the exchange and saw nothing wrong with it. We won't be returning anymore.
