TL;DR: Happy with our experience…read more I'm always nervous about projects around the house and the people we hire to do the projects. My husband and I met with a few different bathroom remodeling companies to change out our uneven shower stall that pooled a lot of water to the side of the shower and therefore didn't drain. We decided to go with Rodney at Full Circle Kitchen & Bath. We were able to schedule an appointment for an estimate for the same day that we called him. When he arrived, he gave us a flat base price for the shower stall and the labor, and then told us how much the extra shelving, seat, and grab bar we wanted would cost on top of the base price. Once we called Rodney to tell him we wanted to move forward with the project, he sent us a contract to review via email within about a day. After we reviewed the contract and agreed to it, he visited our house again to sign the contract, collect the downpayment for supplies and re-measure the shower stall. Rodney uses Sentrel products for the showers he installs including the showers he installed at his own house. He ordered the Sentrel shower stall and other accessories and once those arrived, he called to schedule installation for that same week. Rodney is eager to start working early in the morning at 7am. He only works on one project at a time and doesn't split his time between clients, so there aren't half-finished projects that sit for days or weeks at a time when you hire him. He works weekends as well as weekdays. Rodney is prompt to answer questions via email and phone. My husband and I stayed home while Rodney and his assistant worked on the shower stall. They covered the carpet so it wouldn't get dirty or damaged. Rodney is a serious worker that strives to do a good job. He told us every time he was going to shut the water off and for how long it would be off, so we could prepare for that. He called us over to look at any strange house issues that would interrupt the progress and to get our opinions about how to proceed. We had a very uneven floor, floor joists too spaced apart, waterpipes that were coming up through the shower floor instead of behind the wall, and a giant hole carved out of one of the floor beams for the drainpipe. The new shower handle was defective and leaking, so Rodney put in a temporary handle for us to use the shower until the company sends a replacement that he can swap out. Also, he showed us how to change the handle ourselves if at some point in the future we decide that we want a new handle or need a new cartridge. Additionally, the previous owners had put up tile around the old shower stall on the walls that we wanted to keep if possible. Rodney was able to save that for us. Rodney also uses the expensive silicone sealant so there shouldn't be mold growth and we shouldn't have to re-caulk. He used Pex pipes to replace the copper pipes that were coming in at weird angles. We haven't used the shower yet as we're waiting for the sealant to dry completely, but I'm feeling good about the experience we had and am glad we hired Rodney.

We interviewed several contractors for the complete demo and remodel of our master bathroom…read more Bancroft was by far the best communicator, the most reliable, and the most reasonably priced. Throughout the six week process of picking out materials, ordering them, and install, Gerald (manager) and Jimmy (owner) were fantastic! In fact, they were so hands on, that the owner even did the majority of install himself. But what really stuck out to us, was when they ran into more damage to the subfloor than anticipated, they did not take that as an opportunity to charge us more, and instead stuck to the original estimate, despite the extra labor. They also were flexible and happily agreed to a few minor cosmetic changes that I suggested during install. The project was done perfectly, and exactly on time. We will definitely use them again for our next project!

She was notified that the work was complete but when she arrived to look at it, there was building scraps and trash everywhere incluiding pieces of cut trim, stove wrapping, tools, etc. There was dirt everywhere and none of the new counters had even been wiped. They had failed to obtain the proper electrical permits to do the work. I paid $1600.00 for a custom built storage island which appeared to be pre-manufactured made from particle board --certainly not a custom built piece. They failed to install quarter round on the newly tiled floor leaving a visbable gap between the tiles and the baseboards. They installed a shelving unit but the wood did not quite fit to cover the area. When she asked habout this, she was told that they used scrap wood and that was all he had. When she notified Jim of her concerns, he cursed her and my brother out and said he was finished. She contracted with Jim in Match of 2017. He was contacted and requested to complete and finalize the job. She has not heard anything from him since May 2017. The work remains incomplete as of July 2017. I absolutely do NOT recommend using this company for any renovation or work. My mother was looking forward to moving back into her home after being away for several years. She is still unable to use the kitchen and move into her house. This company does not stand by their work; does not do a quality job; is not concerned with customer service or satisfaction.

Starting on June 12th work started on my kitchen. For the first week everything went smoothly but that did not continue. Most weeks after that there were workers here only a couple of days each week. Because of the poor scheduling this job took longer than needed. By July 17th I started noticing problems with doors hung incorrectly and on July 25th I sent a text showing seventeen cabinets and drawers that had problems. There were paint splatters, missing shelf clips. They also left piles of trash and they had dripped paint on my new floors. On August 1st I contacted them about scratches on the cabinet next to the hood over the range and on August 10th I sent pictures of the bubbled paint on the inside of my doors. The work was so bad that it was pealing off. They were removed and repainted but when they were rehung on September 15th it did not look like anything was done to correct the problems. They were told that I did not like the gaps between the backsplash and the cabinets and it took almost a month to get trim to fix the problem. On October 10th I had another company in my attic and they showed me that my hood vent was never connected to the outside. I had them fix the problem so that my house would be safe and Hatchett has decided NOT to reimburse me for the repair. Do not believe the happiness guarantee. The work that Hatchett did is sloppy, slow and dangerous.

We didn't get other bids for that reason and simply asked for a fair price which we received. I was nervous about the house being in turmoil not only for my sanity, but for my 7 dogs and 3 cats as well. I have to say, they were so respectful and accomplished everything they said they would do. They were wonderful to our animals and did a fantastic job!!! Because we did have such a positive outcome, we are hiring them to redo our out-dated bathroom. Go to their Face Book page to see what their work is like and you'll get to meet one of our felines as well.

I was so excited to get my kitchen from them. However, I regret I have to write this review…read more After I paid them over 20k for my cabinets, they have forgotten me. First problem was when they had a drawer front come in damaged. NO big deal, we waited over a month for it and they said that the cabinets came with a paint touch up kit. Well finally the drawer front came in. They dropped it off and said my husband could install it. What??? I called back and said no way...they needed to come out and install and adjust many areas. Also, they damaged the sink cabinet that they needed to fix. They also damaged top of cabinet for island but we ordered panels so that covered it up. I was okay with that. However, when they sent the guys to do the drawer front they had 3 guys spend all day...I mean all day fixing and adjusting all the cabinets. They also put a piece of molding over the damage on my sink cabinet and said it was wrong color of white but when it came in they would replace. We said okay. That was in May and now in September, I have to keep calling them and all they say, is sorry it hasn't arrived yet. They also wouldn't deliver the pull handle for the drawer and said they had to order it...why didn't they order enough? This made no sense...so I sent my husband to the store and got our pull and he installed it ourselves. When I asked about my paint touch up kit...the owner said we don't get that...Now they are trying to get out of that too. I asked, how did I know about it if you didn't tell me. Finally they did give me a touch up paint kit. I love my cabinets but the company after I paid them, have been terrible. All I want now is my molding replaced with the proper color white. I have a feeling they do not like to follow up after you pay them. Beware!! Do not give them last payment if they need to fix things. I waited before writing this review, thinking they would make it right but so far no luck. They have never contacted me to keep me apprised of the order. I doubt they have anything on order. I will be talking to the better business now and they can replace the cabinet they damaged since they can't get it fixed properly. Terrible and I thought they were nice and reputable ... They should not treat a customer like this. All I want is the molding they attached to the top of my cabinet to hide their mistake (damage upon installation) to match. That's it and I will be happy.....Hope they fix this.

He agreed to have old wiring replaced, upon re-inspection we found that only the outlet plates were replaced to look new and like they had been worked on, which was not the case). He sent fake invoices for HVAC work that had never been touched. He lied about permits and bringing things to code (there was an addition built on a deck-no foundation- that he tried to get around even though it was in the contract for him to bring it to code). Windows that are meant to be vertical were put in vertically just to fit the space, covered by trim and plaster to hide this, resulting in major water leaks every time it rains. Several invoices for work in his company name were sent to us for either extremely high or low prices so I'm sure something shady was going on with his books (ex. They said the entire new roof replacement was $3000!) When we challenged him on the incorrect roof repair he got very ugly calling us racists and threatened to fight our inspector (our roof has since had 3 serious leaks in the exact spot we asked him to fix correctly). While our kitchen cabinets are beautiful, they did such a rush job that all of the screws are loose and stripped, many have already had to be replaced (we've only been here for 5 months). We were fortunate that my husband and many family members are contractors and we able to find most of these hidden cover-ups in the original inspection and we fought them to be done correctly prior to closing (since he agreed to everything we asked to be fixed on a signed contract), but after the physical threats we received because he was trying to back out of the work, we threw in the towel. We are now still find things (like the leaking windows) that were done incorrectly with shady cover-ups. We are in a position that my husband can make many of the repairs himself, but want other buyers to be aware before they find themselves in an expensive and stressful situation due to a "contractor's" negligence and desire to just make quick, easy money.
