SeaWorld San Diego - That Orca Tail about to do some serious damage to the front row

SEAWORLD SAN DIEGO: ONE OF MY FAVORITE SPOTS!…read more I have a yearly pass and visit at least twice a month! There's always something to do, from shows and kids' play areas to the mini splash pad, seasonal events, and concerts. I've been to multiple concerts here, and they've all been AMAZING! My only downside is that there's almost always at least one ride closed whenever I visit. I recommend checking the app beforehand so you know what's open! Overall, I love the variety of activities, family-friendly fun, seasonal celebrations, and concerts. Definitely a fun place to visit!

1 Star - Extremely Disappointing, Overpriced, and Misleading Experience at SeaWorld San Diego…read more I am beyond disappointed with my experience at SeaWorld San Diego's Halloween attraction. What was supposed to be an exciting and memorable trip turned into an overpriced, frustrating, and complete waste of time and money. First, the online ticket purchasing process was extremely misleading. Based on how the tickets were advertised, I was under the impression that I had purchased admission to the park. After arriving, I waited over an hour in line just to speak with someone at the front desk regarding my tickets. After finally getting through that line and proceeding to a second line to enter the park, I was informed that the tickets I purchased didn't even include general admission! I was then told I needed to go back and purchase additional tickets just to enter. By the time everything was said and done, I had spent several hundred dollars for just two people to get into the park. To make matters worse, once we finally entered, we discovered that almost everything was CLOSED! There barely any rides operating, and we couldn't even access the animal exhibits or see the marine life. What exactly were we paying all this money for? I traveled 500 miles specifically to visit SeaWorld San Diego, only to experience long lines, misleading ticket information, unexpected additional charges, and a park with practically nothing available to enjoy. I contacted customer service to express my frustration and requested a refund or even a partial credit due to the terrible experience. They refused to offer any refund, credit, or compensation whatsoever. The complete lack of customer care and accountability was just as disappointing as the experience itself. SeaWorld should be much more transparent about what its Halloween tickets actually include, what additional admission fees are required, and which attractions will be closed. Customers should not have to spend hundreds of dollars and hours standing in lines just to discover they aren't getting what they believed they paid for. This was hands down one of the worst theme park experiences I've ever had. Between the misleading ticket sales, outrageous prices, closed attractions, wasted time, and refusal to make things right, I feel completely ripped off. I would strongly caution anyone considering SeaWorld San Diego's Halloween event to read every detail before purchasing tickets. After traveling 500 miles and spending several hundred dollars, I expected much better. Unfortunately, SeaWorld failed to deliver on every level. Extremely disappointing. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

The thing I love about it is I it is thrill seeking but nothing too scary. It's a great first try roller coaster. You seat two to a row and there's 4 rows. E were a part of 7 and we're all able to ride together. If you want your kids to venture out and try a thrill ride, this would be a great one if they like water rides also.

Great ride in the hot Southern California weather. The gift shop next to the ride entrance sell…read morerain panchos for anyone who does not want to get their clothes wet. On the hot day that we went, not many people wanted rain panchos. The entrance to the ride is under a roof covered line waiting area but then it turns into an outside waiting line. You are advised to take off your hats while riding this ride, as the twists, turns, and drops causes they air to pull them off. I opted to keep my hat on and held it onto my head during the ride with one hand. Overall, this ride is super fun. The water is refreshing and doesn't smell bad after it hits you. The different turns, climbs, and falls make it a great ride. I would not recommend letting a child under 10 on this ride; it's pretty intense. The ride staff was nice and friendly. We will get on this ride again I ams sure.
