Dear Reader of Reviews, Thanks for stopping on my review and taking the time to read it! Much appreciated! I'll try my best to paint a colorful, yet accurate picture of my experience with Dr. Pete, so you can get an idea of what you're walking into, if you choose to take a chance on him! So much build up... Drum roll for getting to the point....Ok here goes....(In my opinion,) Dr. Pete is one of the BEST chiropractors in Texas! I would refer him to anyone with back pain or just wanting to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I had pretty moderate lower back pain and suffered off and on with sciatic never pain. Dr. Pete helped me when my regular doctor and other chiropractors couldn't. He is very knowledgeable in his craft, from offering stretches that I could do at home in between visits, to information on nutrition & small diet tweaks. After Dr. Pete got to know me and my specific aches and pains, he mentioned that an anti-inflammatory diet could benefit my issues and speed up my treatment plan and recovery time. That small piece of advice was a huge game changer for me, life changing! I'm actually still on an anti-inflammatory diet (and lost 25 lbs. *insert party face emoji!!!) This man knows tons of information, I'd go as far to say, I think he's as knowledgeable (if not more) as my family practice medical doctor. Seriously! Pick his brain sometime, he knows a lot about a lot! But most importantly, I think you need to know, Dr. Pete knew exactly how to properly adjust my back and hips to give me some much needed relief. Dr. Pete is friendly, professional, easy to talk to, super approachable, and non-judgemental (I never felt embarrassed around him for being a little over weight or showing up to my appointments looking frazzled because my back pain kept me up all night!) I'm extremely sad he's no longer practicing chiropractic care in Austin. But happy to hear he has found a new hometown to settle down in and make some space for healing abilities. Smithville has no idea how lucky they are to have him! Please do a kindness for yourself and go get treated by Smithville Chiropractic. Dr. Pete is a gifted healer, he's the real deal! I have lead a very accident-prone life and have seen a number of chiropractors in my time. Some good, some great, and some that have messed me up. The ones that have messed me up have made it difficult to just trust someone new with my spinal integrity. My last great chiro of many years retired and I've been just limping along ever since. It's been years. Fear kept me from taking a chance with a new practitioner. After reading some very positive reviews for Dr. Pete, as well as some new, very uncomfortable hip pain popping up for me that added to my usual and chronic neck pains, I decided it was time to take the chance. Oh my gosh!!! Its apparent to me now after my appointment with Dr.P that I had been ignoring so much more than I let myself think about. I left about 40 pounds of pure torque tension there on his table!!! I walked away from it-just left it there!!! I can't believe the relief! Why, why, why, did I wait so long???? After the chiropractic adjustments he set me up on his great heated,massager/roller table thingy. It's amazing! Then on top of the phenomenal care, they have GREAT treatment packages available. You can pay as you go, or you can buy 5 or 10 treatments in advance for significant cost saving . I stole 10 appointments from them! It is clear that this is a business created from a passion to truly help people. Dr. Pete had even texted me videos for exercises that would help my specific issues before I even made it out to my car. All my fear was exchanged for relief and gratitude. I'm looking forward to seeing these friendly people real soon..... the lovely bride of Dr.P, Ann Marie (the first friendly face you'll see) and Tesla too ( the four-footed office helper).
