Well organized and clean store located in a marina area and located next to Islamorada Fish Company. I love the ship in the center of the store! It isn't the largest Bass Pro, but it is nice and the staff is friendly. We always stop on the way down. Great area for relaxing and shopping.

as a black man, I can't be more disgusted and no, I'm not pulling the race before the simple fact that I traveled from Washington to the Florida Keys spent over $500 with fishing shop getting fishing license which the lady upfront had an attitude, I guess in Florida there are no discounts for elderly people when you bring elderly people with you not only that they will sell you gear that is expensive and don't work they sold me an expensive line didn't work kept breaking as a matter of fact the $350 fishing lure and pole that they sold me snapped in half on a fish no bigger than my hand this is not the experience I should have coming to the keys and that $350 was the starting price for a fishing pole, which is ridiculous when they should've had a variety like they have in Washington's bass pro fishing shop not only that I feel racially profiled. I felt targeted as a tourist just to gain money for the store not a good experience. I should've told them that I played for the Seattle Seahawks. Maybe that would've made them treat me more cordial.

If you are looking for fishing gear, boating, gear, hunting equipment, or clothes. This is the place for you. They do have great deals here at certain times, this was our first time down at this bass pro. It was awesome to walk on the ship inside and explore that customer service at the bait shop was A1. He explained what was hitting, what was good bait at this time and where we should hit some spots.

After passing by this Bass Pro Shop for years I finally had an opportunity to stop in and check it out, located in the middle of sportsman paradise it was just as I expected along with a few surprises. The staff here was very friendly and attentive but at the same time they allowed you to browse at you're leisure and since there's so much to see even if you came here without a shopping list it's quite an adventure just to walk around and take it all in. As you can imagine this place is filled with fishing gear I'd say if you can't find it here you probably don't really need it. I was surprised to see so many bargains compared to other Bass Pro Shops in non-tourist areas, the prices seemed reasonable although there are plenty of specialty items that are just plain expensive no matter where you'd shop. We rode up the elevator with one of the managers and he was very engaging and gave us a coupon for additional savings as well a coupon with a QR Code to scan for a credit card with instant approval - I thanked him but really had no interest in going down that road with all the fishing charters in the area I figured if I wanted to go wet a line the only thing I'd need is some cash and honestly that really wasn't part of our plan. Even if you're aren't in need to stock up on all things fishing related I'd recommend stopping in if you have some time to kill there are some usually displays that you won't find anywhere else like "Pilar" dry-berthed at WorldWide Sportsman this vessel which has been called the sister ship to Ernest Hemingway's 'Pilar.' The 'Pilar' here was built at Weeks Shipyard in Brooklyn in 1933, a year before Hemingway's boat was built by the Wheeler Boat Yard around the corner. Legend has it that Hemingway fished from this boat in 1933 so I guess there is that Hemingway connection. The two ships are very much alike, except that Hemingway customized his 'Pilar.' It was four feet shorter at 38 feet and the transom was lowered by one foot. Otherwise, they shared the same home at the Port of Key West and fished the same waters throughout the 30's I'm sure both would provide some inspiration if were you were lucky enough to take them fishing...

This is one of my favorite places to stop in. The store is beautiful. I do t know if it's omething about the way the place is decorated or the amount of times I have been here. It feels homy here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I like this place. The store is easy to spot and it is a cool place to visit. It is worth checking out. Inside there is a boat in the center of the store. I also saw a large fish tanks and other cool stuffs. I drop in to get the rum cakes. They always seem to have them in stock. It's how I like to start my adventure, with rum cakes lol. The surrounding areas are pretty. The store had a nice porch with chairs to sit. I notices a big grill on the back with a menu sign. I had not seen this before. I guess they also sell BBQ here. The prices don't seem bad. I was closed when I came. This location is right on the water. Towards the back you can feed the tarpons and they are large fish. The staff was very helpful. I bought bait and had a good time feeding the fish.

I love Bass Pro Shops merch, I have a ton of shirts and hats that I've bought from here in the past. They also sell accessories for boats as well as sunglasses from popular brands. The prices for the glasses are a bit high. I was able to find them for a cheaper price the first few seconds of googling. So it's not worth it buying them here. But everything else such as the amazing restaurant and bar in the back are definitely worth coming for. The restaurant mostly serves seafood and the service is a bit slow but the food is great at the end. They serve the BEST key lime pie here, I always make sure to get some at the end of the meal for later. Overall.. definitely come here while you're visiting the keys. It has a great view of the ocean, an amazing store, and an even amazing restaurant.

Bass Pro Shops World Wide Sportsman shop is a must-see on the way through the Keys. However, I was disappointed in the absolutely tiny variety of women's clothing and fishing gear.

This place is a fisherman's dream place everything under the sun fishing poles knives clothes shoes sunglasses everything. I not a big fisherman but I do enjoy every once in a while no guns they like three spear guns . I was hoping to look at some guns but no it not like all the bass pro that has guns it's definitely a place geared for the fisherman rightful so it's a fishing area all along the ocean highway nothing but fishing little towns anyway the display in this place is awesome Hemingway boat cool stuff nice fish aquarium quality clothes and still some bass pro item had to get a hat it's a must stop place just pick up a hat or tshirt you are good to go

I stopped here because my dad loves bass pro shops and I needed to get him a souvenir. We were on our way home after a week in the keys so we had done a lot. This might have been the best shop we stopped at. It has all the normal Bass Pro stuff but it also had a sister ship of Ernest Hemingway's PIlar which was AWESOME. And there's a nice lounge/bar/restaurant which I wish we had stopped at. We did go out on the docks though and my sister saw a manatee! Her first manatee ever. And we saw a bunch of tarpon and nurse sharks. 10/10 low key and would recommend.

This place is not really welcoming the staff doesn't look happy to be here and the clothing is expensive. The attitude of the staff is the worst part I've never been in a place where I don't feel welcomed at all. The energy sucks not coming back

Great spot to watch the sunset. The store itself is also huge and you can probably get about anything you need for outdoor.

Don't wait like I did--plan your SCUBA Open Water cert now!…read more They're not joking about the concierge experience, btw. You get amazing service and education at such a reasonable price point. Book with this outfit and never look back. Plus, it's so much easier to get to than the more southern keys. It's hard to overstate the education and value I received from the fine people at Key Dives on the very South end of Upper Matecumbe key. My instructor was Nick C., and I can't say enough great things about the guy. His love for the job, his seemingly bottomless well of patience, and his motivation for teaching exactly what one needs to know in order to enjoy with safety and ease one of the most profound experiences a person will ever have in this life. If I could share that feeling, there'd be a 15-yr waiting list for open water certs. Nick's teaching style efficiently and effectively guided me to know and trust myself and most importantly--my equipment--building the confidence which I found to be crucial when you're so deep in an element you weren't evolved into. He made it easy for even me (adhd?) to absorb the amount of knowledge and experience needed to stay perfectly safe and comfortable in the water so that I could get down to the business of exploring the incredible world that exists below the water's surface. Nick's instruction additionally included steps on how to prep and preserve my own equipment, since I brought my own gear (they will outfit you with everything you need tho). IMO, that was above and beyond. Wrapping up, he was great with both my 11yr-old and my wife with 20 years experience and several other advanced certifications. Nick was in his element for both ends of the knowledge spectrum, often switching between the 3 of us in the same breath, able to shift deftly between helping the little one, myself, and instructing my wife. I also would like to reiterate that everyone I spoke with in the entire Key Dives operation were helpful, accommodating, fostering of the learning environment/process, and an absolute pleasure to be around. Everyone from instructors I was not attached to, to the boat's Captain were helpful and accomodating. I would be comfortable in sending my loved ones to learn under the care and instructions of the folks at Key Dives. Ask for Nick, and don't forget to tip. -jm
