Bass Pro Shop located in Isla Morada is a popular spot for tourists heading through the keys. This is your spot to stock up on fishing gear, rods and tackle. Store is huge with an amazing inventory of outdoor clothing and accessories. You can pick up Keys-theme souveniers and some salt water taffy! There is a giant fish tank and in the center of the store you will find a replica of Ernest Hemingways's boat Pilar. You can climb up and enjoy a bit of Hemingways's history. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They will provide you with great gear recommendations. Store is organized and great for browsing even if you don't buy anything. However prices are great and reasonable so most likely you will not leave empty handed. You get beautiful view of the marina so definitely worth visiting! read more

Great stop for anything outdoorsy as usual. This location is much smaller than the others and less departments that's usually offered. Their popular fish tank was much smaller as well with less species of fish inside than usual. One would think in the keys, they would have all the better variety of nice fishes but it as disappointing overall. However they did have a centerpiece attraction with a huge boat that you can enter and brush up on some nostalgic history. Their store is clean and organized with a huge selection of apparel and snacks with an upstairs level. They always offer great deals on their snacks and random sales though out the store. Love their bait and tackle shop in the back with live and frozen baits that's affordable and they carry a wide variety of baits. The cashier in both the tackle shop and the store registers were polite and friendly striking up comfortable conversations leaving a great impression overall! Always a great one stop shop whether you're looking for outdoor gear, fishing gear and equipment, bait and tackle and even snacks. The larger locations tends to have the hunting and firearms section with recreational vehicles etc. This location was perfect for what we needed to enjoy any stay in the keys. I have ridden by this store in Islamorada, Fl near (Cheeca lodge, which Bass Pro Owner Johnny Morris just bought) several times, I didn't realize that it's actually a older partnership with World Wide Sportsman and Bass Pro Shops. Basically same prices, Just slightly smaller than a store that would be on the mainland. Go to back dock area, for sunset dinner and see Tarpons & native sea life. Road trip stop in for upstairs drinks & see "Pilar" Ernest Hemingway Boat inside. read more

Well organized and clean store located in a marina area and located next to Islamorada Fish Company. I love the ship in the center of the store! It isn't the largest Bass Pro, but it is nice and the staff is friendly. We always stop on the way down. Great area for relaxing and shopping. read more

After passing by this Bass Pro Shop for years I finally had an opportunity to stop in and check it out, located in the middle of sportsman paradise it was just as I expected along with a few surprises. The staff here was very friendly and attentive but at the same time they allowed you to browse at you're leisure and since there's so much to see even if you came here without a shopping list it's quite an adventure just to walk around and take it all in. As you can imagine this place is filled with fishing gear I'd say if you can't find it here you probably don't really need it. I was surprised to see so many bargains compared to other Bass Pro Shops in non-tourist areas, the prices seemed reasonable although there are plenty of specialty items that are just plain expensive no matter where you'd shop. We rode up the elevator with one of the managers and he was very engaging and gave us a coupon for additional savings as well a coupon with a QR Code to scan for a credit card with instant approval - I thanked him but really had no interest in going down that road with all the fishing charters in the area I figured if I wanted to go wet a line the only thing I'd need is some cash and honestly that really wasn't part of our plan. Even if you're aren't in need to stock up on all things fishing related I'd recommend stopping in if you have some time to kill there are some usually displays that you won't find anywhere else like "Pilar" dry-berthed at WorldWide Sportsman this vessel which has been called the sister ship to Ernest Hemingway's 'Pilar.' The 'Pilar' here was built at Weeks Shipyard in Brooklyn in 1933, a year before Hemingway's boat was built by the Wheeler Boat Yard around the corner. Legend has it that Hemingway fished from this boat in 1933 so I guess there is that Hemingway connection. The two ships are very much alike, except that Hemingway customized his 'Pilar.' It was four feet shorter at 38 feet and the transom was lowered by one foot. Otherwise, they shared the same home at the Port of Key West and fished the same waters throughout the 30's I'm sure both would provide some inspiration if were you were lucky enough to take them fishing... read more

This is one of my favorite places to stop in. The store is beautiful. I do t know if it's omething about the way the place is decorated or the amount of times I have been here. It feels homy here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I like this place. The store is easy to spot and it is a cool place to visit. It is worth checking out. Inside there is a boat in the center of the store. I also saw a large fish tanks and other cool stuffs. I drop in to get the rum cakes. They always seem to have them in stock. It's how I like to start my adventure, with rum cakes lol. The surrounding areas are pretty. The store had a nice porch with chairs to sit. I notices a big grill on the back with a menu sign. I had not seen this before. I guess they also sell BBQ here. The prices don't seem bad. I was closed when I came. This location is right on the water. Towards the back you can feed the tarpons and they are large fish. The staff was very helpful. I bought bait and had a good time feeding the fish. read more

I love Bass Pro Shops merch, I have a ton of shirts and hats that I've bought from here in the past. They also sell accessories for boats as well as sunglasses from popular brands. The prices for the glasses are a bit high. I was able to find them for a cheaper price the first few seconds of googling. So it's not worth it buying them here. But everything else such as the amazing restaurant and bar in the back are definitely worth coming for. The restaurant mostly serves seafood and the service is a bit slow but the food is great at the end. They serve the BEST key lime pie here, I always make sure to get some at the end of the meal for later. Overall.. definitely come here while you're visiting the keys. It has a great view of the ocean, an amazing store, and an even amazing restaurant. read more

I not a big fisherman but I do enjoy every once in a while no guns they like three spear guns . I stopped here because my dad loves bass pro shops and I needed to get him a souvenir. We were on our way home after a week in the keys so we had done a lot. This might have been the best shop we stopped at. It has all the normal Bass Pro stuff but it also had a sister ship of Ernest Hemingway's PIlar which was AWESOME. And there's a nice lounge/bar/restaurant which I wish we had stopped at. We did go out on the docks though and my sister saw a manatee! Her first manatee ever. And we saw a bunch of tarpon and nurse sharks. 10/10 low key and would recommend. read more

This place is not really welcoming the staff doesn't look happy to be here and the clothing is expensive. The attitude of the staff is the worst part I've never been in a place where I don't feel welcomed at all. The energy sucks not coming back read more

This is a must stop when driving down to Key West and you are in Islamorada. Even though this is known as a Bass Pro Shop, its a lot more than fishing gear. There is a waterfront restaurant on the 2nd floor and have a fresh catch daily. They sell high quality shirts, shorts, hats, shoes, sandals, etc. Some of the fishing equipment is very expensive, but they have all prices for everyone. They even sell candy downstairs and have a small art exhibit upstairs. The most popular attraction is a 42' wooden fishing boat inside that you can climb on and go inside the cabin. There is a large aquarium with a lot of fish, it must be 20 feet in length and looks well maintained. read more

I experienced a level of customer service that is often talked about but rarely demonstrated. The staff even stayed 5 minutes passed closing to help me finish my shopping and to purchase my fishing license. I plan on going back every time I need new gear. read more
