And for a version of Wisconsin-famous squeaky-when-you-bite-them fried cheese-curds, not quite as sharp tasting (or quite as squeaky) as you would get in Wisconsin, but fun to bite! Well, we were in a mood, and went for their bragged-about shredded-chuck pot-roast sandwiches. I am sad to report that we were underwhelmed. The flavor was rather dull, despite the herb&spice cooking marinade, and the texture was not quite fall-apart-tender the way low-and-slow should come out. The cheese curds were ok. And of course we got the yummy flavor-of-the-day frozen custard: Turtle! (vanilla, caramel, chocolate, and toasted pecan). Aaaah :-p Well, the pot roast sandwiches were not thrilling. And we noticed that the Culver's drive-thru receipt is one of those that only lists the total price, not the price of each item. Why? I had the Pina Colada shaved ice and it was amazing, I ate it so fast I had brain freeze ! It made me feel like I should be on the beach eating this out of a coconut. It was so refreshing & I know everyone else enjoyed it just as much. I highly recommend Kona Ice they had a huge selection of flavors to choose from. I missed out on taking a picture of my shaved ice &all I had was the cup leftover lol.
