5/3/25 My husband and I stopped by Buster's for a quick sweet treat and ended up really loving it. We got a small two-scoop ice cream. I had the chocolate raspberry, and he went with the peanut butter puddles. Both were very delicious and tasted so good! The staff were super friendly and patient, let us try a couple of flavors before deciding. I also thought it was fun that they offer half off their banana splits if you bring your own bananas. This spot is awesome, and it has a drive through which is nice especially during this rainy weekend. We will definitely be back, and join their rewards program. read more

Really quick service and very sweet employees. We ordered a coffee with oreo shake and a pint of key lime. Took maybe 5 minutes for everything to come out, which was great! Shake was delicious, lots of bigger pieces of oreo which didn't quite get up the straw easily. Key lime was delicious, very similar to Andy's, but less sugary, more lime flavor. Trying to maneuver through the parking lots and turning off the main road is a bit of a hassle though! read more

Open for walk up or Drive Thru, Bruster's provides a nostalgic environment to enjoy frosty and cold treats. The many times I've visited this location I've enjoyed many of the product offerings. My favorite flavors are black cherry and butter pecan. read more

My only gripe would have to be the price is a little steep for the quality you receive for this icecream as each time I get a chocolate base it's missing that true chocolatey taste as it's more diluted compared to others I've had. Not just that specifically but others I've had as well but it at least satisfies my sweet craving if I'm in the area. Also it doesn't help when the menu board is never updated when I come having to live a city away and making a trip out here I'd expect it to be corrected and not be out of my first three choices. I will say the flavor count is more than any other icecream parlor but have yet to see a majority of them as it doesn't rotate too often from my standpoint. It's worth a try if you've never had Bruster's before but make sure to have a backup plan if they are out of your first flavor. read more

Having heard good things about Bruster's and driven by a thousand times, during a recent trip to Nicholasville, I noticed they were still providing drive through service. It was a very hot day, so I got in line! And I'm, glad I did! With people behind me in line, I felt a little pressure to order quickly, so rather than study the menu, I ordered a couple of scoops, one banana and one coffee. Delicious! So good, in fact, that coupled with heat that day and the possibility of melting quickly, I finished them off before I got back to Lexington. Later, I learned that Bruster's ice cream is made fresh in the store each day. Overall, they have more than 150 flavors and while each store is required to make chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla each day, the other 20 or so flavors are chosen by the location. Well worth the short drive from Lexington! Give them a shot! read more

Love coming here more in the warmer months than the winter. Always perfect after a yummy dinner after a long day. We love our favorite flavors (wedding cake is mine) while changing things up and trying new ones. Coupons are always helpful and change by the month. But our favorite reason for coming is the free puppy sundaes! Our dog looks forward to them everytime we go. If we didn't hold her back, she'd probably jump through our car window to attack the employee with kisses over the excitement of ice cream. It's a scoop of vanilla with a Milk bone on top. I've taken the kids here twice since I've visited the area. The place is so cute and the girls are sweet. The waffle bowls were a big hit with my grandson and the ice cream is delicious !! It's a eat outside or do the drive thru if your on the road. There is plenty of floors to choose from. Sundee's or plain or choose your toppings. It's a sure try!! read more

We ordered at drive thru, they asked us to repeat our order several times then when we pulled up to the window the kid had no idea what our order was and we had to give it again. Love the ice cream, but their portions are off. They give tiny scoops sometimes and the amount of toppings you get varies by the day. Still a yummy place to go, but they just aren't consistent. It's also kinda messed up that I buy two banana splits and because they're walk up is shut down they won't honor the free kid sundae. I mean is it really necessary when you can pretty much guess by looking in the back seat? I got the "Blast" which is like a blizzard, it was pretty bad honestly the ice cream was bad and I'm 95% sure it was off brand candy advertised as name brand. Also, there was a hair in it. There is no where to sit, there are no bathrooms. My friend got a milkshake and it was pretty good, all the workers were nice. read more

Trying to help people out but the staff was very rude and obviously was not wanting to be at work my small strawberry regular cone was handed out to me as a large waffle cone told them it was wrong then it still came back wrong and the chocolate milkshake was as thin as chocolate milk and the flavor was like ice milk and it was 10.00 needless to say I will not be back read more

Stopped here the other day on way home from a meeting. Ordered a chocolate shake. Chocolate shakes should be made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce added. They make it with chocolate ice cream. Big difference in taste. I've had better. Waited at the window for a while. The girl who helped who took my order was also having to work the drive through window. Noticed the other workers going to back room with their phones out. Growing up going to Bruster's was always a treat. But as I've gotten older, learned how to drive, and experienced their service first-hand, it is honestly no longer a treat. The ice cream is good, but their customer service is TERRIBLE. Every time I go, the greeting in drive-thru is monotone and careless. My order is often times wrong, example: I ordered and paid for extra cookie dough on my ice cream, and I received a whopping 6 tiny pieces when it should be quite a bit more. If you're going just for ice cream, you're all set, but if you expect quality customer service, just don't do it. read more

Great ice cream, including old fashioned scooped, sugar-free, and frozen yogurt, at a very reasonable prices. Walk-up window with limited outdoor seating or drivethrough window. We had our dog with us when we visited and the associate taking our order offered us a "free dog sundae". It was a scoop of vanilla with a dog treat on top, which of course our dog loved. We haven't been huge fans of Bruster's in the past, but for the owner/manager to treat a customer the way one was done today is just wrong, it speaks clear volumes as to how little you value your customer base, especially young children. If you have an offer for a freebie and it has no restrictions other than height, you don't tell the customer they're ripping you off and you certainly don't treat them this way in front of the children they brought (or other patrons). Your offer didn't restrict the free cones to 'with adult purchase', etc. 5 free baby cones are ripping you off? Guess you better increase those $4 a dip cones then. My daughter no longer wishes to frequent your establishment and I will oblige her that request. Mistreat your customer in this manner, accuse her of ripping you off and then decline the $4 she offered to pay you? What a joke. I know you're a business, but seriously, change your offer if you feel you're being ripped off, but don't blame the customer. We'll stick with Yogli Mogli from now on, thank you. read more

I love coming here during the summer and having ice cream with the kids! Growing up we had a small ice cream place to go to and this one seems like the only one around that isn't Baskis Robbins. They have a drive-thru too for those that want to grab and go, or climb out and grab a seat on the curb, which ever is your fancy. The kids that work there are fast and friendly!
