It's Baskin Robbins! They're the same everywhere! It can get busy in the evenings but the ice cream is always good.

Entered the store at 3:40pm. Two employees in the back, behind the front counter was full of discarded soiled containers and utensils. I ordered a 3-scoop hot fudge sundae. The girl stirred the hot fudge in a vicious motion. I got the sundae with a small dallop of whipped cream and less that 6 almond slivers. When I got the first mouthful the hot fudge was in a hard clump, and it was so old it was chewy. Like taffy. I paid $9.23 for something I had to throw away. Customers are the reason you are in business and your employees should take pride in what they serve. No one wants to eat rubberized hot fudge. read more

Baskin Robbins continues to be one of those tried-and-true places that I don't think will ever go away. I see them sort of as the relative that you genuinely like seeing, but the lives in another state. Every time you see them do you think yourself, "That was fun, we should do that more often" but in reality, you're only going to see them once or twice per year. Such as the relationship that I have with Baskin Robbins. Quality place, but always has good options for ice cream, but not somewhere that immediately comes to mind when we want something frozen and full of sugar. This particular Baskin Robbins is located next door to a hot pot place and may be the most well position Baskin Robbins we've ever seen. If you've never been to hot pot, think of it as a Chinese version of making your own soup. We generally leave places like this with everybody very warm, and at least half of us sweating. Enter Baskin Robbins! They had plenty of seating for us, the standard 31+ flavors, and were very courteous. The old favorites like Rocky Road, peanut butter chocolate, and any of the sorbets will probably live forever, and with good reason. What are you going to get hot pot or not, this is definitely a place that you should be checking out if you're in the mood for something cold, sweet, delicious and familiar! read more

Yikes: That's the only word that comes to mind. I want to start off by saying that I hate giving bad reviews or even going out of my way to do so. But... man oh man, this evening was a train wreck. I went in with my wife and she got a cone and a couple of scoops. I asked for a banana split and the look on the young lady's face was sheer horror. She actually even said, "Oh, I've never made one before." Then the other young man working instructed her to "make it look like the picture" and pointed to the menu. Once it was all said and done she handed me the banana split and the look at it and looked at me and said, "I'm sorry" and shrugged her shoulders. Absolutely horrible service. Came in looking for a quart of bubblegum ice cream for my wife after she had surgery. There wasn't any in the case so I asked if they had any more in the back. She said they were out, I said thank you and proceeded to walk out. She stopped me and said is that all you wanted just a single scoop. I said no, I'm looking for a quart. "Oh" she replied, "it's all the way in the back and we're almost closed" By almost closed, that means you are open and still required to do your job, not just part of your job that you feel like doing that evening so you can leave early, as I'm watching them lock up 10 minutes early for the night. Got a DELICIOUS mint chocolate chip shake today by an ice-cream wizard. The young woman helping us had lots of energy and told us that if we had any questions to ask her. When we asked for a small shake, she told us we could even get 2 different ice cream flavors to make our own unique shake... and was savvy about what was in each ice cream as well (low fat, etc.). me and my family were eating ice cream outside at the tables, as to not disturb the workers because it was less then an hour to closing time. apparently that wasn't enough for the staff because they came out to guilt trip us about sitting at their tables because they "had to clean them again after we left". we offered to move out of respect but she said that we would just know for next time... as if it was a wild thought to think we could sit down outside during open business hours. read more

This place is awesome! They have all the classic flavors and more. What I really loved was the AMAZING customer service. They took really good care of my family and I. I've never been to a Baskin Robbins this on top of it! The dude behind the counter anticipated my entire family's need for taste testing pretty much everything and then knocked our orders out faster than we could say them. I probably gave the biggest tip for ice cream ere and afterwards felt like I should have given more because they rocked it!!!! I don't often go to Baskin Robbins...but everytime I do go I am pleased. What is not to love about a shop full of 31 ice cream flavors?! With that being said, this was my first time visiting the Baskin Robbins on Gage and one word sums up my experience, disappointed. To start off, I ordered a milkshake. The person working behind the counter got my flavor wrong. The first milkshake he mixed was too runny he decided not to give it to me at all. The second one he made was still extremely runny. More like drinking a glass of milk rather than a nice thick milkshake. When I go to an ice cream shop, I expect them to know how to scoop a full scoop of ice cream, mix a thick milk shake and top a sundae generously. Now I can't speak about two of those things but as for the milkshake...I will take my money elsewhere next time. read more

I have to say I got the worst service ever today. Called at 6:10 to order a cake for tomorrow and got told they need 24 hours. I wanted to pick it up in 23 hours. Seriously that is the kind of service that ruins future sales and gets bad reviews on Yelp. FYI Dairy Queen on Gage had no problem with my request and they will get all my future business and all recommendations. That's customer service.
