She said "No, we only have what's on display". This similar experience (on several occasions) happened(s) at the GAC booth at the Odessa mall. But, difference is, the girls working the counter there don't even ask, they have simply said, "give me a couple of minutes and I will make you one". It was clear the midland employee was not going to make any more cookies for me or anyone for that matter. I also ordered a chewy chocolate fudge supreme cookie that was not even edible. There was nothing "soft or chewy" about that cookie. I honestly believe it had been sitting out on the display all day. There was nothing fresh or soft about any of the cookies we took home. Unfortunately this is a negative review solemnly because of the employees working there not the store itself. We've never had any issues whatsoever with the Odessa store since that is the one we always go to. The employees at the Odessa store are always energetic, happy, and very friendly. They will accommodate our order even when they don't have it and are always willing to make anything we'd like upon request. Because of this, I refuse to go back to the midland store and purchase any cookies from there. It's unfortunate because this is the only dessert I get on the weekends. I kept having to prompt her so I could pay, etc. Then while we waited for the drink, another woman came in and asked if she could order a standard drink and she was told that they didn't have the ingredients or that the price changed or something and the other staff member had to step in because the girl literally couldn't follow the basic question. All the while, my daughter's drink sat on the counter. I asked the girl who originally helped us 4 separate times if it was my daughter's drink and she couldn't even track what I was saying. She just kept laughing and going, "Huh? What? My bad. Epic." I've encountered this girl before. She's not new and not usually like that. She was clearly intoxicated somehow, prompting a very uncomfortable conversation about drugs with my daughter, who felt slighted from the service. Will NOT be back. If you are too high to have basic conversation, you are too high to drive and go to work. Be a responsible human! And her coworker should have contacted a supervisor.

It's like, here we are, these two exhausted parents driving up to a new coffee place where we don't know the menu after dropping off my beautiful bonus kiddos, and here are these patient, fresh faced college kids just vibrant and ready to take our order and answer any questions we had about the food or coffee. It was just a really refreshing experience compared to feeling rushed at Starbucks. I got my usual decaf coffee with sugar and the husband tried a white chocolate latte (I forgot the name). The coffees were phenomenal. But the REALLY cool part was how they give you a free chocolate covered coffee bean on every single drink (even the smoothies, because, yes, we went back). We have also tried a muffin top, smoothie, and biscotti. I am serious when I say that everything is good here. I am just mad at myself that I had just bought more coffee for the house before discovering this wonderful place and buying it here instead!
