The two girls were nice but the serving size were extremely tiny. Ordered a three scoop sundae and a small shake. It was more like 1 scoop cut into thirds. The bill was 18$ for 2 items. The workers friends were in the store and the girls were more focused on getting actual customers out of the store. read more

Adrienne was the one who helped me and she was incredible. I called around to see who had a cake ready to be picked up in the morning and she was the one who answered here and she was already so pleasant to speak with. She was willing to go and read all the cakes that were available and describe what they looked like. She mentioned that she did have time for a custom order that morning and pick up in the afternoon. I ended up doing a custom one for my niece and she was getting all the information from me and getting creative with what my niece loved. I told her she loves rainbows, hello kitty and girly and she nailed it. My niece loved it and my sister and family were all impressed and grateful for the cute and yummy cake! It's not reflective in the photo but was all shimmery too. You can tell she loves what she does... Thanks Adrienne!! read more

3.5 We decided to stop in here for some ice cream on our trip home. The store was clean, every one was greeted as we came into the store. The staff was attentive. I actually got a really good amount for my scoop. (Other stores give scoops full of air, but not here.) The price is a decent price. I had a good encounter here. I'd come back. read more

Ice cream was delicious as usual but the one that set it apart from others was the service. The two ladies that worked tonight did a fantastic job with being overwhelmed with the number of customers and online orders coming in. The line was long, to the door and 1 woman with a great smile did it all, while the other woman was none stop energizer bunny doing the online orders that kept coming. Never a complaint from either of them. They did a great job of cleaning as they went and no mess ups or messes. No dirty dishes piled in the sink or spilled toppings. Truly great service from them. And management, you should really have a third person working. I was exhausted watching them. read more

This time I called ahead to make sure there was Flavor of the Month in stock before coming since I got burned by the location in Kyle. The phone line was really badly garbled and staticky but they confirmed they did have my desired flavor. Went over after my shift. The area was reasonably busy being a Saturday night, the parking lot was pretty full near the establishment and had a lot of trash all over the place. They had four employees working, and not a one of them greeted me, choosing to talk amongst themselves for awhile before turning their attention to me who was waiting by the register. I showed them the birthday coupon for a free scoop. Now, having myself been in many customer service positions, I would've expected a "Happy birthday!" or something similarly upbeat and friendly. This guy goes "Ugh, why are there so many birthdays today??" So apparently me turning a year older really inconvenienced this guy or something. Whatever dude. I got my scoop, which was pitifully small (kid's scoop) but hit the spot. Very tasty. I then discovered there was no trash can inside, no trash can outside, no trash can outside any of the other nearby establishments, and no trash can inside the other establishments from peeking through the window either. Quickly I came to understand why the parking lot was rife with trash. I literally had to take my dirty cup and spoon home with me to throw away. Wow. read more

Its baskin robbins so not much to complain about. Ice cream is good. Prices a bit high but expect that coming in. The problem is whoever is running this location is bad at inventory. They are always out of the same flavors. How difficult is inventory that you are constantly out of a third of the flavors. read more

Update: The owner responded to my review with speediness and I appreciate the open communication. Very sweet woman, and I'm glad that we could come to an agreement that the point was not to get anyone in trouble, but more for awareness. The world should have more bosses like her. read more

I always get a cherrys jubilee milkshake but this time the taste was off and sure enough it made me sick. Either y'all have sour milk or expectation dates that aren't being checked and unfortunately I won't be able to enjoy this milkshake moving forward from this experience. Please store milk at proper temps and smell the milk at the beginning of the day to check... that's not right... read more

Two words: no listeria! My family loves ice cream. Me? Not so much but I do appreciate a scoop on occasion. This place has been here a good while. BR always has new flavors to try. Our family favs: pistachio almond, buttered pecan, peanut butter chocolate, rainbow sherbet, baseball nut and very berry strawberry. Waffle cones are the way to go. I have ordered speciality ice cream cakes from here and they are wonderful and not too expensive. They have daily specials except on weekends. They even do a sundae special. Hot fudge is the way to go! Don't forget the cherry. You can often find great prices on ore-packed quarts and they will even pack a flavor you choose. With all the Blue Bell craziness I will continue coming here when my family wants ice cream. read more

Baskin Robbins - Pistachio Almond and picking up a cake - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - New Braunfels, Texas

Disclaimer: my review pertains to the new Braunfels location only I don't eat ice cream very often and I eat at Baskin Robbins even less but I have to admit when I do have Baskin Robbins I enjoy it very much. They have a great variety of flavors introducing new flavors all the time on a limited basis. They also have a variety of cones to choose from cake cones, waffle cones, chocolate dipped cones etc. it's kind of adds a unique touch to ice cream in my opinion. They are a bit pricey compared to other ice cream shops in new Braunfels but their quality makes up for it. My favorite: cookies and cream. ----------------------------------------------------- *Poor *Decent *Good *great *Best *JLFoodie Certified Food. Great Service. Good Cleanliness. Good Value. Good www.facebook.com/groups/NBFoodies I realize I'm a food snob, I eat out regularly some weeks 3 to 4 times which in my opinion makes me a bit of an expert on food, service, quality etc. I say it how I see it and I usually will give restaurants at least three chances before I give up on them and in some cases after some time has past I revisit the restaurants to see if anything is changed and my reviews reflect that change. read more

The owner Christina was extremely helpful and walked me through what kind of cake I would want for my Sons birthday. Upon arriving to pick up the cake Victoria helped me and was very polite. The cake decorator Adrianne was there and verified what interior ice cream it should be as well as opened the carton to show me the beautiful cake she had made. My Son LOVED the cake and I truly appreciate the customer service, attentive staff and grea product that made my Son happy on his special day!! Thank you ladies!! read more

Update: we went in for a last minute birthday cake, hoping they'd have anything, but we're met with a great selection of both flavors and designs. Also they have curbside delivery!10/10 recommend this local, family owned business. read more

OK, so I had to get this particular Baskin Robbins five stars. Number one because they sell gold medal ribbon, which is amazing. Number two is because of the customer service. The girls that work there are always so friendly (I've been twice ). The last time I went I picked up a pint of gold medal ribbon. Apparently, the pre-packed ice cream is more dense. The one I got had been freshly packed so by the time I got home and opened it, it looked half empty. I spoke to the manager, she was so friendly about it and offered to replace it even though I didn't ask. What great customer service, after all getting ice cream is supposed to be fun and having people treat you well and smile at you really makes a difference read more

I love this little business. The employees are so friendly. There's been a real improvement in the cleanliness of it. There was a short in there when tables were always dirty and fudge was on the floor and counters were sticky. That has not been the case recently. I give kudos for doing whatever needed to be done to tidy it up. AND they've redecorated and used colors that really spatially opens up the eating area. read more

I love the marketing behind Baskin Robbins. New Flavors that reflect the season. I'm always in the look out for their limited time/seasonal treats that are gone faster than Ice Cream melting on Texas asphalt! Every year they offer a $.31 scoop night (benefiting American Firefighters) any promotion helping a good cause is good for me! I missed out on this promo this year, happened in April. For summer I decided to go with their Blueberry Yogurt Parfait and Pomegranate Yogurt Parfait! They were fluffy and delish. There is something about citrus and summer that go hand in hand! read more

I love the ice cream here but the issue is the hours weren't changed for the holidays so 10 other people besides me weren't served after driving out of our way to go and get ice cream when the hours claimed to have been open. Ice cream is always super delicious. The girl working the front is extremely nice. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 is because this location needs serious cleaning. Tables are dirty, floor is unswept and needs attention. read more

Wow. I can most definitely say we will never be back here. First off, the place is disgustingly dirty: the floors, tables, bathrooms. You seriously don't want to be fed anything out of this disgusting establishment. Secondly, the service is terrible. The workers have a terrible attitude. My husband asked for military discount. She said yes, they have one, he showed his ID, this all AS she was wrapping up ringing us up at the register. Then, when I looked at the receipt after, there was clearly no discount applied. I then approached the assistant manager, Jazlyn, who clearly did not care that she made the mistake. She nonchalantly shrigged her shoulders & told me there was no way to fix it at this point. She offered no sort of resolution, nothing. The service and the establishment are apalling. Wish I had scoped out the reviews on Yelp before we went! Let's just say there is a very good reason this place has such pathetic reviews. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! There are too many awesome, fun places around NB to get ice cream or froyo, this is NOT one of them. Head on over to Scoop Street or Tipsy Cow! This place is a huge waste. read more

We are currently at Baskin Robbins. We love this place! Tonight however this is what we are seeing..... a young lady emerged from the back to help the other young lady (Ashley) with the overly crowded lobby. The young lady from the back came out with two other females and a dog following. She did not wash her hands, her hair was wild all over the place, she did not have a hat on as Ashley did. Upon her crew leaving from the rear, they yelled bye and she started serving customers. Not once did she put on an apron, gloves, wash her hands or pulled her hair back. Her gray zip up sweat jacket kept dipping in the ice cream. Please Baskin Robbins clean up your staff. This is really unclean!! Unacceptable.... read more

Just went to this place was highly dissatisfied in the way that the employee was acting. The attitude and vibes were not good. Sad music was playing and she barely put any ice cream in our cups. Usually better than this but because I will not be going back. Do not go to this place, at least to the one on walnut. read more

Great ice cream and good price. Staff attentive. Problem is, it's the only full service BR in town! Sometimes I don't feel like waiting in line for 30 minutes with CoVid spacing for an ice cream cone. Best not to go in on evening or weekends if you want a quick treat. read more

The ice cream is great, I mean....it is Baskin Robbins, what's not to like? My two star review is for this particular location. I hadn't been here in years, decided to stop by with the kids after Urban Air. We got our cream, no problem. Then, a few big problems......we were going to buy a quart to go. I took one up to the count and the guy working asked if I wanted to buy two because two would $11.99. I asked how much one is and said $8.99. I laughed and asked if he was serious. He said "yes, I'm serious". Then the girl working with him tried to tell his he was wrong, that one quart is $6.49 (which makes more sense). They jokingly argued a little bit, she even showed him how to ring it up and it did come up as $6.49. He told she needed to learn to do her job right and said it would be $8.99. I bought two.....which I'm hindsight I should have gotten none. My other problem was that the women's restroom was out of order so I went to use the men's. I opened the men's restroom door and smell hit me before I even got it open all the way. Then....the hair all over the toilet seat. Just gross. We left. Probably won't revisit any time soon. read more

Best item to purchase? Ice cream cake. The reason to treat yourself to a little Baskin Robbins is the variety of toppings, and unique flavors not found at Dairy Queen. Birthday cake, Pistachio, Lemon, Almond, just to name a few, are delightfully different from the everyday banana split. The ice cream cakes are by far the best investment though. The cakes come in chocolate, vanilla, carrot even. The ice cream can a variety of flavors as well. You can purchase pre-made or custom. This place is filthy! 3 employees and only one girl working trying to help two parties. She tried calling for help but they just ignored her. Employees are definitely not in appropriate attire. Finally when they came to help, one girls long hair was hanging down while scooping ice cream, disgusting! Her fake nails were super long, I don't know how she could properly scoop ice cream. None of the employees were friendly. This place needs a revamp of employees or close your doors, you're a disgrace to the Baskin-Robbins name. read more

Terrible service. I've been waiting ten min while one employee takes care of customers and two others sit at the end of the counter eating.

Update. Durring summer I came in and requested 2 summer flavors. They said they would order them. Gurss what? They didn't. I love (baseball nut) and (cotton candy). I asked for a comment card and they acted like they have never heard of that. What's the point of seasonal flavor specials if you never carry them? 1 star because they simply don't care. read more

It's a good thing the ice cream is so good because this is the dirtiest Baskin-Robbins we have ever been in. The floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a week, the tables were not much better, and the staff were more attentive to each other than they were to us. Also, the trash can was so overflowing that we couldn't throw our containers out; just had to set them on top with probably 10 other items. Won't be returning to this particular BR. Delicious ice cream but very poor service. I've gone three times and they look very annoyed when someone walks through the door and extremely annoyed when I have ordered a quart size to go. Really bummed that we rushed all the way from San Marcos to New Braunfels just to have the employees shut down a little early. The neon open sign was still on though, so we wasted even more time walking up to the locked door. Not cool, if you close at 10, you should close at 10. They were playing inappropriate music where the f bomb was dropped multiple times, so inappropriate for an ice cream shop full of children! The two young girls working there tonight had real attitudes. Ordered a hand packed quart because the don't make the pre-made ones with my favorite flavor. I understand that packing those things is a pain but that's their job. When I asked for it the girl helping me made a huge deal over it. After checking out and picking up the quart I realized it was unsually light. I opened the container to find it about half full. When I told her this she ignored me. Her coworker then rudely snatched it out of my hand and threw it on the scale. Realizing it was way under weight she stomped over to the freezer and finished filling it properly. I got no apology when she handed it back to me. We often go here for ice cream and it normally just your average Baskin-Robbins experience but after tonight I'm not sure we will go back. read more
