Never a complaint from either of them. They did a great job of cleaning as they went and no mess ups or messes. No dirty dishes piled in the sink or spilled toppings. Truly great service from them. This time I called ahead to make sure there was Flavor of the Month in stock before coming since I got burned by the location in Kyle. The phone line was really badly garbled and staticky but they confirmed they did have my desired flavor. Went over after my shift. The area was reasonably busy being a Saturday night, the parking lot was pretty full near the establishment and had a lot of trash all over the place. They had four employees working, and not a one of them greeted me, choosing to talk amongst themselves for awhile before turning their attention to me who was waiting by the register. I showed them the birthday coupon for a free scoop. Now, having myself been in many customer service positions, I would've expected a "Happy birthday!" or something similarly upbeat and friendly. This guy goes "Ugh, why are there so many birthdays today??" So apparently me turning a year older really inconvenienced this guy or something. Whatever dude. I got my scoop, which was pitifully small (kid's scoop) but hit the spot. Very tasty. I then discovered there was no trash can inside, no trash can outside, no trash can outside any of the other nearby establishments, and no trash can inside the other establishments from peeking through the window either. They have a great variety of flavors introducing new flavors all the time on a limited basis. OK, so I had to get this particular Baskin Robbins five stars. Number one because they sell gold medal ribbon, which is amazing. Number two is because of the customer service. The girls that work there are always so friendly (I've been twice ). The last time I went I picked up a pint of gold medal ribbon. Apparently, the pre-packed ice cream is more dense. The one I got had been freshly packed so by the time I got home and opened it, it looked half empty. I love this little business. The employees are so friendly. There's been a real improvement in the cleanliness of it. There was a short in there when tables were always dirty and fudge was on the floor and counters were sticky. That has not been the case recently. Wow. I can most definitely say we will never be back here. First off, the place is disgustingly dirty: the floors, tables, bathrooms. You seriously don't want to be fed anything out of this disgusting establishment. Secondly, the service is terrible. The workers have a terrible attitude. My husband asked for military discount. She said yes, they have one, he showed his ID, this all AS she was wrapping up ringing us up at the register. Then, when I looked at the receipt after, there was clearly no discount applied. We are currently at Baskin Robbins. We love this place! Tonight however this is what we are seeing..... a young lady emerged from the back to help the other young lady (Ashley) with the overly crowded lobby. The young lady from the back came out with two other females and a dog following. She did not wash her hands, her hair was wild all over the place, she did not have a hat on as Ashley did. Upon her crew leaving from the rear, they yelled bye and she started serving customers. Not once did she put on an apron, gloves, wash her hands or pulled her hair back. I hadn't been here in years, decided to stop by with the kids after Urban Air. We got our cream, no problem. Then, a few big problems......we were going to buy a quart to go. I took one up to the count and the guy working asked if I wanted to buy two because two would $11.99. I asked how much one is and said $8.99. I laughed and asked if he was serious. He said "yes, I'm serious". Then the girl working with him tried to tell his he was wrong, that one quart is $6.49 (which makes more sense). They jokingly argued a little bit, she even showed him how to ring it up and it did come up as $6.49. He told she needed to learn to do her job right and said it would be $8.99. I bought two.....which I'm hindsight I should have gotten none. My other problem was that the women's restroom was out of order so I went to use the men's. I opened the men's restroom door and smell hit me before I even got it open all the way. Then....the hair all over the toilet seat. Just gross. We left. I understand that packing those things is a pain but that's their job. When I asked for it the girl helping me made a huge deal over it. After checking out and picking up the quart I realized it was unsually light. I opened the container to find it about half full. When I told her this she ignored me. Her coworker then rudely snatched it out of my hand and threw it on the scale. Realizing it was way under weight she stomped over to the freezer and finished filling it properly.
