This is the only Baskin-Robbins that I know that offers different ice cream cakes. All of the premade cakes in the showcase that are different are all chocolate cake and Oreo ice cream. The staff helping me told me their manager makes it and you can make a request on what kind of cake you want, ice cream flavor and cake flavor. Inside there are several chairs. It's not too big. Staff is helpful. We have gone here several times to get a scoop of ice cream, shake, and smoothie. Recently we bought a cake for my oldest a d he decided on the instant ramen cake. The cake itself is soft and the Oreo flavor went well with it. The outside part was whip cream and it is light. Parking can be tight here since there are several business. Overall, we will return and request a custom cake to celebrate a birthday or event. read more

We've been coming to this Baskin-Robbins for the past few months while we do laundry next door. The specific location delivers a great experience with its clean, quick service and welcoming staff. Even though the place can get pretty busy, the team stays friendly and efficient. Parking can be a bit tricky because the area is so active, but it's definitely worth the hassle. I don't live in SD, but I've ordered multiple ice cream cakes from here. Just be sure you have the correct location & to order cakes in advance. Online it says to allow at least 48 hours to order cakes & pies. Especially if you want to make customizations. Online ordering is easy & ordering on the app is simple too. Not to mention you can get deals/coupons via the App & get a bday freebie. They also have plenty of cakes in-store for purchase. Just have an associate help you. They will get the cake out of the fridge for you. They pretty much know which cakes they have. And if you want personalizations on the cake, they write it out, there for you. I have been coming to this baskin Robbins location since I was young but I don't think I will return. I've noticed time and time again that the portion size of an adult scoop has gotten smaller and smaller. Tonight I attempted to order three scoops of ice and had to return them because of the size. The young lady voiced to another employee that the ice cream was hard so I guess she didn't feel like scooping any more. I expressed to the manager that the scoops were too small and she stated they were weighted which isn't even true. As she took back my ice cream I notice she took one scoop off and placed it in a kids size cup lol so it wasn't even a regular scoop. I honestly feel like it depends on who's working that determines the size scoop you receive. read more

Awful customer service from the management. The staff is friendly and helpful but management is awful. I went in to order a cake and the manager was screaming at customer to take a cake he given him. The man had ordered a cake online and went to pick it up and couldn't find it so they gave him some other cake. The manager was yelling just take it. instead of trying to make it right and help the guy out he is yelling at him. He should of offered him some extra quarts of ice cream to make it better. I also made the mistake of ordering a cake there which was way overpriced and they tried to tell me it was specialty-not when you can order the same cake online for cheaper. The manager was very rude as well instead of trying to make it right the lady manager just keep insisting it was specialty. On the smaller side. Come in here because its the nearest location by my house. It is a lot smaller than some of the baskin robins I have been to. If there is more than 6 people it can get crowded or hard to get a scoop of ice cream and know that you're next. There really isn't a line. It's whoever talks to the worker first to get their ice cream lol. The workers here are friendly and they try to be very fast! Nice team work. I love getting the praline ice cream flavor. Recently I just tried the birthday cake flavor and it was delicious!! It had chunks of cake in it and it hit the spot for me. The fudge brownie flavor is chocolate overwhelming!! Definitely chocolate on chocolate. If you're craving chocolate and want a lot of it I suggest that! Overall baskin robins have really rich and creamy ice creams and I personally love most of their flavors. Actually 3.5 stars as manager is super friendly. I believe he's an Indian guy and works when he has to cover an employee who called in. Anyhow, it's just like the rest of the Baskin Robbins chain. 34+ flavors and other options like banana split and such. They're always open so it's a place to go if your usual ice cream shop is closed. They would've gotten a 4 star but employees don't look to happy to be working. They're just going through the motion. Buy again, they're teenagers who probably would rather be elsewhere than working in a weekend. Another way to end my work week & spoil myself silly. I mean, who doesn't want a cool treat, right? So, the family that owns/ runs this location are always welcoming when you enter through the door. Staff has always been patient & cool- no matter how packed it is inside. I thought I was gonna get my usual cake cone scoop when I noticed on the front window a new item! Donut Ice Cream Sandwhich! So, the donut itself- is like the powdered ones that would be jelly filled. (But, obviously no jelly because it's sliced in half for your choice of ice cream). I picked one of my childhood faves- mint chocolate chip. And when I first bit into my donut ice cream sandwich- the donut was like a pillow! Even ordering it at 4:50pm! It wasn't stale or hard... This specific Baskin Robbins ice cream parlor is the close to my mom's house. $1.50 scoop night on the 31st day of the month that has 31 days is my favorite deal !! $9 for 6 scoops. The scoop sizes haven't increased but the prices went up. This location is extremely small & tight inside. It always feels crowded inside even if there's only 4 people in line. The young ladies that work here are friendly and offer prompt service. However the owner is quite rude and just stands around monitoring her staff. She's not friendly or inviting. I would hate for her to be my boss. Parking is horrendous. This ice cream parlor is located next to Epic wings and things and Lil Caesar pizza off Plaza Blvd. The parking lot is always hectic. The ice cream here is still remarkable the quality has not changed over time. 31 flavors has always been a childhood favorite of mine. Pecan Praline, mint & chip, cookie dough, rainbow sherbet plus mocha almond fudge are my household favorites ice cream favorites. read more
