I ran into her table at an open-air market in Solomons Island, and I'm glad that I did! She had a nice selection of sugar cookies with buttercream frosting in individual cookies, as mini cookies in a box, as well as a 'Nightmare Before Christmas' set. Ms. Tricia stated that you can always reach out to her if you are hosting an event or need customized sugar cookies for parties and get-togethers! I ended up getting the mini cookie box which had a cute fall theme. Service was very friendly and welcoming, and payment was super convenient, as they accept Venmo! +sugar cookies with buttercream frosting +customization services available +friendly staff!

I don't mind the wait, but I also try and time it correctly to when there isn't a long line (For those who aren't fans of lines). I have frequented this location on an almost weekly basis since they've opened. I always hear "Welcome to Coldstone!" and even when they are busy they still offer a sample taste. I've had nothing but positive experiences. YAY Coldstone! I highly recommend their Ice cream cakes too! Yum! I also have a friend with a peanut allergy order, all you have to say is you have an allergy and they will use new spades and mix it separately. There is never a guarantee that you won't have a reaction, but they do go out of their way to try and make it possible.

We, as the bride and groom, agree! We actually had time to sit and eat and we are so glad we were able to enjoy the Maryland jumbo lump crab cakes, beef tips, pasta and sides and salad. Everything was so fresh and made to perfection. We would hire them again in a heartbeat for any future catering needs we have. They were easy to work with, very professional and friendly, and was able to advise on how to manage some of the guests dietary needs. Fantastic! We didn't get a chance to try the hors d'ouvres and charcuterie display, but heard amazing reviews to no surprise. Thank you, Michael and Team!

A full service group, and a value that can't be beat!…read more We worked with Canards for catering and event design and execution for our wedding of ~175 guests, and we were incredibly impressed with the results! Lisa and her team are very creative and detail-oriented, and you essentially get a free event designer (as well as coordinator) included in your catering costs, it is a value that cannot be beat! They were responsive to the needs and ideas that were unique to our event and helped turn our thinking into a real vision - and then they executed it! Guests were impressed with the food and the cocktails! The executive chef is very talented and the menu was creative; Canards listened to the food styles we were interested in and suggested items that would add some special elements and elevate the menu. They are so flexible and the sky is the limit, and everything is plated in a beautiful way. Really can't go wrong with food from Canards. Canards is very fairly priced and the team looks for ways to save you a buck where possible. They coordinate rentals and other vendors for no additional fees. They designed a linen/décor/tablescape plan that was super unique and then handled rentals and set up, and the results really were stunning. They suggested a decorative scheme for our ceremony space and handled it directly, creating a floral backdrop. They ordered bulk florals/décor which they turned into simple but beautiful centerpieces, which saved us a pretty penny. They helped us do a "welcome" greeting before the ceremony and cocktail hour without inflating the price. It really does result in the best value that you can find for wedding catering, really impressive what they can do for each event. The vendors and service staff they work with are extremely professional. Service was excellent throughout dinner and the rest of the event. The contract, tasting, and event planning process was very easy. In the end: highly recommend - incredible value and attention to detail!

Marilyn goes WAY ABOVE and BEYOND in helping with the planning. She not only assisted us with the menu design but in many other facets of the wedding program itself. There really are not enough kind words for how thankful we are that Cookielyn Catering did our catering. They have a wide array of choices to work with any theme or budget. If you're planning a wedding or other event in Southern Maryland, do yourself a favor and talk to them first!!!!!

Solid cookie experience. A very trendy take on classic cookies with rotating flavors…read more GLOWS: - Both cookies I tried were pretty good. The chocolate chip had huge chocolate chunks and came warm. The strawberry short cake was just as good and came chilled. - The inside decor is minimal, but the packaging is cute and fits the trendy aesthetic. It's cool to see the staff working like a machine to produce the cookies with the open kitchen area. - They also have a traditional ordering counter along with electronic ordering within the store (card only), so it helps to move the line. -I didn't try the ice cream, but they also serve ice cream and they have milk--- for the milk & cookie lovers. - I love that they rotate flavors so that customers are always getting a new cookie experience, but if you find something you like, they might not have it when you return. GROWS: - Storefront is pretty small. There can be some confusion on who is waiting to pick up and who is in line to order. - They advertise the calorie count of a cookie based on 1 serving. It is to be noted that a cookie has between 4-7 servings. So seeing 160 calories is misleading when it is really anywhere between 640 and 1,120 calories. Keep that in mind.

While no Baskin Robbins…read morewith its 31 flavors, the Ice Cream Place still has a pretty good selection of ice cream flavors. For me, I am a happy camper as long as an ice cream shop has vanilla, chocolate, cookies n cream, or mint chocolate chip...and The Ice Cream Place had those. :) *I"m pretty "boring" when it comes to my ice cream flavors.* Prices were a bit higher than I anticipated (especially since they don't post prices), but I think that's the way things go on the Boardwalk. I had no concerns reading the service and ambiance of the ice cream shop. Although The Ice Cream Place is worth a visit, especially if you have the young ones with you, I would not go too far out of my way to visit. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of ice cream.
