At my old school I went here a lot. My personal flavor is the mint chip and the Madagascar Vanilla, but the other flavors are good too. Ice cream cakes never disappoint, servers are kind, and, of course, the ice cream is great. I've been here too many times to count, and still the flavors intrigue me. For example the OREO ice cream. Sweet! The cookie dough. Delicious! Great go-to place, and I love the convenience and the fast service. read more

I'm highly unsatisfied because of the male employee who prepared my order. This is highly upsetting to me because of the COVID-19 outbreak and the lack of safety. When I walked in he was wearing disposable gloves and texting with them on. When he finished his text and proceeded to help me he didn't wash his hands or change gloves while staring my order. I'm a nurse so gloves are meant for one use and throw away they can have billions of germs on them especially if you use the same ones from task to task. When I asked him to change his gloves he looked at me with an angry look, smirked, and threw my order away, changed gloves without washing hands and he was mad because I asked him to do that. I wasn't being unreasonable, I was concern of my own health because of his actions. I paid what I got in order not to make him more upset from the kill stare he gave me but I threw it away. $6.99 for a brownie sundae is not worth me getting sick! read more

Today I was helped by a wonderful, kind, young lady. I love ice cream, especially from Baskin Robbins, but I haven't been since the pandemic started. She made the experience quite lovely and brought a smile to my face. The second I walked in, she greeted me warmly and I immediately felt welcome. I have a tough time choosing between flavors but she was able to offer her own expertise and help me decide on a delicious new flavor! I will definitely be coming back and ordering again, if I could give more stars I would! read more

I have been eating Baskin Robins since I was 6yrs old. I'm now 44yrs old so it's been a long long time!! My favorite is Pistachio Almond, and my second favorite is Rocky Road! This location in La Jolla is nicely tucked away which is great bc I don't want to over do it. We've order cakes and they've done an awesome job!! Everyone here has been super nice! read more

This review is long over due. I ordered a birthday cake for my daughter 2 days ahead. When I went to pick it up I was told it wasnt ready by the very young person working the counter. I was told it would be ready in 2 hours but i could have a different cake if i wanted. I kindly declined and requested my preordered cake. when i returned they still didnt have my cake and acted like i was being unreasonable for them not having my order. I like Baskin Robbins ice creams in general, but this one sits on top of the others. The store is bright and clean. The crews are polite and responsible. For regular customers like me, they know who we are and what we want. They have a large collection of cakes too. I ordered a picture cake last time and was surprised about how vivid the picture was. Their candles selections are better than I what I could find at Party City, Vons or Target. I rarely got into a long line though. Sometimes there are huge parties in front of me (it's an ice cream store!) and their orders need to be complete first anyway. Oh, talking about large parties, the store has only about a dozen seats so sometimes it could be crowded inside. read more

I went to pick up an on line order only to find out they didn't make our already paid for cake! Cake decorator forgot is what I was told... but no one bothered to call me the day or night before or even the morning of so I could avoid driving in!!! Disappointed 9 yr old who was looking forward to an ice cream cake! I left voice mail to the manager and asked them to refund me but never heard back! Don't go here! My family and I are frequent customers here. We live close by so I dropped by Thursday to order a custom bday cake in person. I was told it was better to order online so I left and went home to place my order. Went by Sunday to pick up my cake and after waiting 20 minutes just to ask someone to hand me my already paid for cake, the employee came back and said "sorry, but looks like someone forgot to make it." Whoops. Really?!?! The employee working is a sweet guy and a good employee, not his fault. They gave me a refund, as they should because I didn't receive my cake, but I was left with one of their cakes that'd had been sitting in the freezer for days. And a disappointed bday boy. It wasn't good. And the customer next to me was in the same predicament. They didn't make her cake either. Tough bind to be in day-of to not have the cake for a bday party that you spent time and effort planning, ordering, paying and waiting for. Not good. UPDATE-The new owner reached out to me to apologize for the situation. I appreciate his recognitionn of the issue and he implemented changes so it wouldn't happen again. We have given them another shot and they delivered. The cakes we recently ordered were done well. We will keep returning. read more

LOVE this place! Nice friendly people who let you taste whatever you want and don't mind if your kid takes forever to order something. I tried a weird new flavor recently-- "Reckless-N-Wild", or something like that. Reminds me of when I always had "Rainbow Sherbert" as a child, but this new thing has a tangy twist that I actually like even better! Very disappointed going here . Have been there 4 times with in a month & every time we orders shakes, they are always out of milk . Summer is here , & it's a simple fix , keep more milk on hand . This Baskin Robbins seems to be busy most of the time when I go in, but The Manager ALWAYS handles it with ease. She is a very hardworking young lady who puts in a tremendous amount of effort to make sure that you're satisfied with your ice cream. I have been in there a couple of times when it was super busy and there was a line almost out the door and the manager is the only one working there all by herself. She never fails to get the job done though. She's an amazing person and an excellent manager. Can't wait to go back! read more

It's the fourth time that I've been to this Baskin-Robbins where they closed 10 minutes ahead of their 10 o'clock closing on the sign. I ordered a chocolate milkshake over the phone and they processed the order then said they were out of chocolate fudge. It happens at this store always around closing time. It's ridiculous! They either need to change their store hours or change their employees! They lost a loyal customer! read more

Very disappointed in the new ownership of this shop. LuLu had been a wonderful owner and always tried her best to keep kids with nut allergies safe in her shop. One of the things she did was to keep nut containing ice creams in a single refrigerated display to minimize cross contamination from the scooper with non-nut ice creams. I saw that the new owners did not do this and put nut containing ice cream in the same refrigerated unit as the non-nut containing ice creams. I sent the owner an email to see if this was an oversight. He replied that he fixed it immediately, so I went back a couple of days later and saw that he had simply switched one nut containing ice cream for another. I emailed back to ask why he said he fixed it when in fact he did not. He did not reply to my email. I contacted Baskin-Robbins corporate and they apologized and said that their field executive or franchise owner would contact me. No one ever did The good news is that my nut-allergic daughter found that she likes Haagen-Dazs more than Baskin-Robbins and she is able to get Haagen-Dazs in a safe, nut-free way. read more

Me an my friends ordered waffle cones and they were all soft and squishy not crunchy at all tasted as tho it was sitting there for a couple days...they did not tell us that they were cinnamon. Although I thought the cinnamon was delicious my friends did not. We asked about the cones an y they were like that an he just stared at us wit no answer. Another employee had to step in. We then were watching and noticed one of the guys serving another guest and the employee stuck not only his arm but his whole half of his body ANDDD head wit lots of hair inside the freezers.
