I love Davis creamery!…read more Since my freshman year, I have been going to Davis creamery! It is one of my favorite places to bring friends to, or show to people visiting Davis. I like that they choose to make their ice cream in store rather than buying it in bulk or ordering it from a factory. If you are looking for a quick ice cream treat, I would 100% reccommend checking this place out! Everyday of the week, they have some sort of deal or happy hour sale going on which is worth it to schedule into your day. They have many different flavors and toppings and they do allow sampling! For those who cannot have dairy, they also have dairy free options which is why this place is a go to for large groups or people new to Davis! There are options for everyone. One thing to note, they do not have seating inside and oftentimes they have long lines. But they do have seating right outside under street lights. On busy days, staff are alwasy working as fast as they can and they are always happy to help. The best way to avoid the lines? Go before meals or go earlier in the day :) after dinner is always the busiest time. In the spring, you can also submit a flavor you'd like them to make and if it makes it into the running, it will enter the month of bracketology where visitors try new flavors created and the favorite will be added to the menu for a while. When I showed her she muttered under her breath "Jesus fucking christ", and immediately approached me with attitude and dictating what I should have done instead. She did not tell me to put in my phone number for the member price until much later and kept talking under her breath. When it came to the wrong items for the deli coupons, she went to check for the right ones and then came back with the wrong one and told me she'll take off the wrong one, without bringing the right ones back. She made my friend go all the way back to the meats to gather the right ones instead. And when he took a few minutes, where she took longer to go there and back with nothing, she told me that I should help him. Why didn't she grab the right ones instead? She made me feel very unwelcomed when I asked her kindly for help.
