CONS - Suuuuuper sweeeet - Sprinkles are gritty and kind of gross I've never had Mister Softee, so when I spotted the ice cream truck parked right outside of the Bronx Zoo from which we emerged hungry and tired after a long day of monkey & giraffe ogling, we scrambled for some change and picked a random cone from the dizzying menu of various colorful cones. We got the BABY RADDLE, a standard vanilla cone dipped in two kinds of sprinkles - chocolate and rainbow. Guess I'm not really a fan of soft serve ice cream because I always find it super cloyingly sweet. The sprinkles did not help. I could not help but get the feeling that I was eating crunchy ants in a pile of cream. Gross huh? Oh well. Guess everyone should try this classic at least once in their lives. Kids might like this better than a picky snobby adult like me ;)

So one of the men who appeared to be maybe one of the managers by his different colored shirt, didn't get to catch his name but he appeared to be of Indian descent, was VERY RUDE! Terrible customer service. So let's start with when I approached the cashier first he looked at him and then stood for about 5 seconds without greeting or anything. So we're staring at each other, then I proceed to ask for my order before I even finish he walks away. Another girl comes and smiles apologizes and asks what is like. I ignored that initial incident and proceeded to order my SMALL CHOCOLATE CHIP MILKSHAKE. She says okay and then yells out my order "MEDIUM CHOCOLATE SHAKE" so I correct her and tell her my order. She says okay and yells out small shake small shake. I correct her again and tell her it's not chocolate. I then walk over to where I see the same man from early making my shake. I hear him and another worker repeat medium shake. So I correct them FOR THE THIRD TIME. I want a small shake & I go on to say chocolate chip however he CUTS ME OFF AND SAYS "I KNOW I KNOW" I say okay.. he was so adamant so I was sure he knew I looked down at my phone and look back up and what do I see? A CHOCOLATE shake mixing... I don't even interrupt him since he was paying me no mind and I let him finish because MAYBE IT WAS FOR SOMEONE ELSE.... he pours it in a cup and attempts to hand it to me. I kindly ask him if it was chocolate ice cream, he says YES YES ! I say well that's not mine because I clearly ordered chocolate chip. He then ROLLS HIS EYES AND SAYS WELL WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME???.... I'm sorry excuse me???? I told I repeated myself almost FIVE TIMES AND YOU CUT ME OFF. At this point I didn't even want the shake. I will add that another worker, she appeared to be Spanish, young with glasses, light skin with reddish brown hair came very politely and apologized for the wait. She was pleasant and one of the only reasons they got TWO stars. Another star for the milkshake tasting okay after the fact. Terrible service nonetheless. Will never return.
