Not too big a fan of this location. My mother-in-law and I stopped by on a Tuesday evening for a quick scoop. We stood to the right of the register, looking at all the ice cream flavors available. However, people started to file a line to the left of the register. We were puzzled at the fact that no on came and stood behind us because we were clearly in line for a while. When we thought it was going to be our turn, the employees started serving the people to the left! This was after we had been in line for at least 5-7 minutes and the employees making eye contact with us. Why did they choose to specifically serve them and not us after we were obviously in line WAY longer than they were? Anyway, we brushed it off and decided we would just file in behind the rest of the people to the left of the register to get rid of the confusion. After waiting probably another 10 minutes in line, when it was our turn to be served, there were people again to the right of the register looking at ice cream flavors. The employees turned to those customers and started serving them rather than us! I started to get fed up and asked, "Where does the line to order begin?" and the employee responded "Anywhere really." I was peeved at the fact that the employees 100% knew we switched sides (they gave us a somewhat sympathetic smile when we went to the back of the left-side line), knew that we had been there for a while, and then proceeded to help someone who literally had just walked in. We were both incredibly frustrated at how there wasn't any order to how people were being served. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes for 2 ice cream scoops. The ice cream was what to be expected, nothing special. But someone really needs to inform these employees that there should be some sort of system for people who want to be served. read more

I received an email from corporate Baskin Robbins for a free 2.5oz cone or cup for my July birthday. I went to the drive-through on Comanche/San Mateo and the young lady told me they can't take electronic coupons because they can't verify them as used or not. I didn't realize there was a lot of fraud for 2.5oz ice cream cones, but ok. She was kind enough to tell me the BR at Wyoming/Menaul will take the coupon off my phone. When I walked in to the Menaul BR, a young, blonde girl assisted me. She didn't even look closely at the coupon, she just told me what my options were as far as cones. She was very trusting, sweet, efficient and kind. I do believe I will be giving this BR all of my business now. It's closer to my house, just less convenient without a drive-through. But since ice cream is meant to be savored it will be good for me to get out and eat it slowly. read more

Wow! We just visited this Baskin-Robbins Menaul location. Sad to say, their employees are cutting corners to their product and it shows up in quality, yet the price is the same. We spent $27 in a few items. One of them a Mangoneada? We heard one girl telling the other, to pretend to add the chamoy (chile) and not add it. The other girl did as she was told and she blocked the action with her body. We heard their conversation and guess what your product lacked the right amount of ingredients, it tasted awful. Even the Mexican dessert locations in Alb., charge less for these without cutting product quality. We will buy Icecream and other desserts, not from you guys, in the future. read more

we ordered a birthday cake for our 39 year old daughter the picture of the one we ordered did not look anything like the one they made the cake looked hideous maybe ok for a little girl but not a women and if anyone has order a ice cream cake they are not cheap. $58.00 and some change. The picture of the one we ordered looked elegant pretty color the one we got was bright pink trim with what looks like a cross between pink and purple frosting and her name was in big block lettering. Boy did we get ripped off. And the customer service just plain sucked. I let them know that I thought it looked really bad and that I would never go their again. Not good for custom orders. I ordered 3 polar pies online and they were not ready when I went to pick them up. I had to wait until the line went down for the front counter staff to get them. I then had to wait for them to cut all the pies and put all the toppings on the cookie dough one because they forgot. Front counter staff could not answer my questions on a time frame for thawing them out. I found them to be overpriced as well for what you get. read more
