The red velvet brownies are moist flavorful, and made me wonder why I've only had regular brownies. The thumbprint cookies remind me of one of the thumbprint cookies my favorite bakeries from my childhood. Thumbprint cookies and vanilla(?) Icing are thought to find... in other places it's chocolate or fruit or the icing is hard, but not at B's! The cookies and icing are soft and delicious! Get a lemon bar, get a cinnamon roll, and definitely get a salted caramel cookie (especially if you ldont mind the stickiness of caramel in your teeth) I wish I got one of the King Cakes this year, I bet B's would do a fantastic King Cake. I probably go too often, but I'm excited for all of the new sweets I still get to try!

However, when I arrived to pick it up, the cake had not been made. This was very disappointing, especially since it was meant for a special celebration. Mistakes can happen, but I would have appreciated better communication or a follow-up to confirm the order was ready.no communication after "ill add to schedule". It should not be on me to followup on invoice. I will not ever be be back as small business I get mistakes happen but this was just poor communication and service. I planned weeks in advance thankfully Baskin robbing supplemented and was even able to personalize cake . I do get mistakes happen but there was no communication . I love to support local but this was a fail. i had to call my daughter and tell her im sorry I couldnt make your birthday cake wishes come true. Just sad that small businesses have faults. Wish you well .

Final thought: Anyone who asked what florist to use for her funeral I suggested Bates. They were the prettiest flowers there!

While I had already sent gifts ahead of today, I wanted to send her a little something to cheer her up: enter Sophie's. I've been following Sophie's on Instagram for a long time and have seen the super cute floral gifts they have so decided to order one for local delivery since I live in another state. I placed the order online and within a few minutes I received a call from Sophie's that they had received my order. They let me know that they had sold out of something in the gift I ordered and asked if I would like to swap it for something else, which was fine with me. I really appreciated the transparency and the super quick call. Barely an hour later, I got a text from my brother that the flowers and candle box had already arrived. How is that for amazing customer service?? Shortly after I received a text from my sister-in-law with this pic. Isn't it so cute?! Thank you Sophie's for your amazing customer service and super cute gifts!!

This visit, I discovered that they carried Divine Purity Incense and ventured to try Cocoa Amber. The Divine Purity brand lip balm has always been a favorite of mine so I knew the scent of the incense would most likely be top quality as well. The scent of the incense was perfect from start to finish. I liked the incense so much that I went back and bought several more scents to try. Can't wait to visit again and see what new items have arrived. Service: The staff are always upbeat and pleasant. They are knowledgeable about every item stocked in the shop and always glad to answer any questions you may have. Value: Prices a relative to most shops selling locally made goods. Though value is similar to other shops...I'm not sure you can beat the experience or people. Tip: To smell the scent of the incense so you find the perfect scents for you, simply tip the closed container upside down and sniff the bottom of the container where excess oils have gathered.
