I am now 71 years old and have had multiple injuries and…read moreoperations because of my active lifestyle, motorcycle racing, dirt bikes, snowmobiles, mountain bikes, hockey and many other sports and have had numerous fractures and tissue damage. In 2015 I had my left knee replaced and it was a nightmare because the doctor in Los Gatos (will not mention the name) caused an infection and in the leg and many visits to correct the complications. Now I need my left knee replaced after exhausting all other remedies, injections, PRP, stem cells, steroids and meniscus repair, PT exercises but the last X-Ray showed bone on bone. My search started and after a few months found Dr. Sah and his team's reviews. Also a good friend had just had a partial knee replaced a few weeks ago with Dr. Sah and was totally impressed! I met Dr. Sah February 3, 2021 and a few members of his team and after seeing my current X-Rays (they did the X-Ray while I was there) and Dr. Sah explained his procedure, type of prosthesis he suggested and uses I felt I was in the right place. Dr, Sah expressed that he had an opening February 18th and could do the surgery then. I asked if I could confirm this date in the next day or 2 and he assured me that this would be OK. i again did more research and was convinced that he was the right surgeon for me. Well it is now March 7th, just a little over 2 weeks and i feel like a new man. The prep for surgery was at 4pm and I left the hospital at 9 pm. I watched the complete surgery on the monitor and talked to Dr. Sah, the PA and anesthesiologist through the 1 hour surgery and was totally impressed with how his whole team operates. Pre-op, op and post-op has been a wonderful experience and am so glad that I chose Dr. Sah his team for my second knee replacement. Thank you so much for getting me back on my feet the day after the operation and back to my sports in such a short time. Thanks for everything Alan Cezar

I understand its policy, but her delivery needs work. i emailed again with my new insurance on the day it was active and said i needed imaging asap, and then heard nothing for almost 2 weeks! by the time they finally responded, i had already scheduled somewhere else because i couldn't wait any longer. i get that there might be policies in terms of needing valid insurance at the time of appointment booking, but the tone and lack of urgency made it feel like they just didn't care, especially after my insurance was valid. if you need timely help or a little compassion, i'd look elsewhere. note to the doctors, angela may need a bit of coaching on how to talk to patients with a little more empathy and a sense of urgency. search "appointment" and you'll see all the 1-star reviews here. what a shame for the business.

I didn't think that was true until my horrible experience with Dr. Gay. I came in, told him my shoulder was in pain, I wasn't sure why, but I was in so much pain it was interfering with everything in my life and I couldn't even sleep. We did an x-ray, he said he couldn't tell much from it and needed to do an MRI. I said okay, and he sent me to the front to get it scheduled AND THAT WAS IT. Come time for MRI, NO ONE HAD TOLD ME that it would entail needing to lie still on my back for nearly an hour. I'm young, I've never had an MRI, how the heck would I know that? Had they told me, I would have politely reminded them "remember the part where I said I can't sleep? I literally mean I CAN'T SLEEP." I tried to go through with the MRI, but I was in so much pain I was involuntarily crying from the pain (because they also have to put your arm in a position that further amplified my pain). The technician took me out after about 20 minutes of TORTURE and I met again with Dr. Gay who didn't even apologize to not taking me seriously. He said he would give me a cortisone shot, painkillers, and hopefully then I'd be more comfortable to come back and get the MRI. I asked him why he didn't give me this during my first visit and he said "I didn't think it was this serious." ...so when I said I was in pain....that wasn't serious? At this point, I've lost it. It was human of me, I hadn't slept in WEEKS, and I was in MASSIVE pain. I said I can't believe I'm being charged for this when the doctor has clearly messed up. They said they wouldn't charge me for 2 MRIs but I still have to pay ~$300 for a "doctor visit" that entailed a doctor not taking me seriously and doing nothing for me that he could have easily done had he just actually taken the time to BELIEVE MY PAIN? Man, and the look on his face when my MRI results came back. It turned out my muscle had torn, fluid had come in and formed a cyst that was pressing on a nerve and that's why, even on painkillers, I was in SO MUCH PAIN. It needed surgery to be fixed and you can bet I didn't get my surgery done by this sexist poor excuse of a doctor. I took my MRI results to another doctor, who looked at it and said this was an enormous cysts and extremely unusual to see in someone as young as me. He said I must be in a lot of pain and asked how it happened. He was a doctor I finally felt comfortable enough saying - "I think it started when my ex boyfriend shoved me. My shoulder started to hurt then, but not nearly the way it hurts now months later. I'd only made the connection after the MRI results because now I see how it started as a tiny muscle tear pain and evolved into a cyst pressing on a nerve pain..." Imagine if Dr. Gay had been any sort of real doctor competent in hearing patients and managed to listen to me, give me painkillers and the steroid shot my first visit, and had made me feel comfortable enough to share that? If you're a woman, do yourself and do not come see this doctor. He will not take you seriously and is the epitome of what's wrong with how women end up getting treated in American healthcare. I hope he reads this and seriously re-evaluates just how awful he treated me and what malarkey it is to have charged me for that first visit. Because of him, even though I came to him in early January 2019, after experience pain the last week of December of 2018, it wasn't until March that I got surgery and was finally not in pain anymore.
