Our group of five went there and we had an excellent meal. The Chef sent our party an amuse bouche of fried pork with spicy sauce. It was delicious. Normally when we eat out we bring some stuff back in takeout boxes, but this is the first time everyone finished their plates. The service and food quality was excellent. Good food takes time to make so don't come if you are in a rush. Besides the tip, I will also leave a Spidey Good Job card, and she came back with a little Spidey doodle. This place blew our minds with how amazing the food was. We tried the brussel sprout salad and chicken satay to start and were amazed. The brussel sprouts are a must try- they are crispy with a soy vinaigrette. The entrees were even better and the portions were huge. I went into order rice to go. The waitress said 30 minutes which seemed excessive for rice at an Asian place but okay. I waited in my car and when I went in to get my food I had already paid for it turned out they had not even started making it yet. The waitress said 15 more minutes and after thinking about it for a minute I told her I couldn't wait any longer and to refund my money, she refused saying the cook had put my food on the stove now. In what world does it take 45 minutes to get rice at an Asian restaurant? And if that is how long then say it upfront. I felt like my time was really disrespected but mostly the refusal to refund my money when they failed to fulfill their part because 45 minutes wait was not what I was told. Why would I get food to go and literally wait almost as long as it would take to eat in? This was just unprofessional, irresponsible, and rude. I can't say enough about this place. We've been coming here for about 6 months and it very quickly became my favorite Thai restaurant. First the food is phenomenal. Every dish is freshly prepared and tastes wonderful. The chef is truly a master! Next, the service is perfect. They are attentive and always make us feel welcome. Tonight was a terrible experience! 47 minutes to wait for take-out pineapple fried rice is unacceptable! Unfortunately, this was my first time here. First impression will likely be my last. I walked in to place my order & wasn't addressed for several minutes, but after a few minutes it became apparent why. She is the only one working the front. She took orders, ran drinks, cleaned tables, & rang up the invoices. The small boutique restaurant is clean. There is another woman running food from the kitchen. At 35 minutes, that woman asked me what I ordered. I said pineapple fried rice no snow peas. I thought she would go in the kitchen and grab my to go, but they hadn't made it yet apparently because I didn't see her until 12 minutes later. My food was piping hot. So, after making me wait 35 minutes for rice they didn't even tell me my food was done yet or cooking. The food is greasy. The vegetable chunks were to big to eat so I had to cut everything in the dish. It's not worth waiting for. Waiting was an issue for everyone, tables and to go. read more

Traveling back home from Hershey Park, we were having a hard time finding a place that was open. This was open so we went for it. It is a small place, but so cute and nicely setup and decor was nice as well. Place was very clean. There was only one person serving and you would think that it would cause issues, but she did such an exceptional job. She managed to service everyone there with a genuine smile, accommodated requests and brought drinks and food out in a timely manner. Kudos to her! Food was also very good. The person taking the order was not paying attention while I asked for drunken noodles with tofu, they gave me one with tofu and one with veggies.(Ofcourse they charged me for both). The food was just mediocre, just clamped up noodles. My basil fried rice did not have a single basil leaf and again was not tasty or flavorful. Since I sampled Pad Thai at a farmers market recently I can't get enough of it! Haven't found a spot in Lancaster as of yet that serves it well, so while out and about thrifting in the Mechanicsburg area I took a chance and found a Thai restaurant nearby. Located in a strip mall it was easy to find and had a cute exterior with decorated window. The inside was rather plain, but clean. They had a pick up station immediately inside the door complete with hand sanitizer, etc to make pick up as covid safe as possible. The lady that answered the phone was very sweet and enthusiastic, she ran around like she was swamped with work (literally ran) but the restaurant was near empty. The pad thai was low on scallion and when I asked for more was told there would be an upcharge. I decided to go with what I had and left. The dish was piping hot, and was still almost too hot to eat when we finally arrived back home in Lancaster. Portion size was enough for 2 meals, and the flavor was spot on. It did look pretty bland as the chicken and noodles were the same color, and like I mentioned before was very light on the green onion. We visited on a lazy Sunday afternoon, so there was only 1 other table occupied when we got there. We were pleasantly greeted and offered to choose whatever table we preferred. The menu offered a nice variety of appetizer, soup, salad and main entre options. We chose Crab Rangoon, Chicken Satay, Drunkin Noodles w/ beef, Panang Curry w/ beef, Mango Curry w/ chicken and Pad Thai w/ shrimp. Every item was very good, with the Crab Rangoon and the Drunkin' noodles being great. Prices were a little high but that might just be where the economy is in the Mechanicsburg area. We liked the Drunkin Noodles so much we decided to get a carry out order to take home to my mom who lives near by. Food: Pad Seew 3.5/5, Basil fried rice 4/5 (my only complain was chicken was in huge pieces), Curry 4.5/5 (very watery, but very good flavor, especially the tofu because they put fried crispy tofu!)
