Ask the Community - Basic Training PFC

How much do you charge per session?

Hi, it depends on trainer. All trainers are independent and have their own pricing. Most fall between $75-100. Some a little higher a few lower. Call me when you have time to discuss options! Thanks. I look forward to hearing from you. 818-551-1511… Read more

Prior to joining this gym I had gained about 20lbs from life... Diana is throughly helping me with my weight loss journey. I have never felt better in my body as I do now. I am stronger and the food noise has diminished. Not only has she coached on weightlifting/ strength training but has also coached me on my diet. Lastly, I look forward to every session I have booked with Diana, she makes a special tailored program for my needs / goals and is flexible / adaptable with scheduling. Front Desk/ locker room I am always greeted with a smile from the front desk personnel. The bathroom / locker room is always tidy. The bonus for me is that they provide parking validation for the parking structure. I am always able to find a parking spot get in and out without a hiccup. The one critique I have for Equinox is that I wish they were open a little later on the weekend.

I popped in last week and I didn't spot any broken machines - good sign. I'm not saying everything's perfect but it's improved. All the major renovations are done and the atmosphere feels like it's back to normal.

The maintenance of their facilities has gone downhill at WARP speed. By cutting corners on maintenance staffing and shifts and leaving their broken equipment is states of disrepair for weeks on end, they are showing the clientele the complete disregard they have for their gym experience and satisfaction. The absolute IRONY of their corporate poster at the entrance bragging about the money spent on upgrades (basically repainting the locations with their new color palette) while the state of the gym is being neglected and run into the ground is not lost on me. Please see the photos below of just some of the issues/failures I witnessed yesterday. If I had done a complete walk through, there would be a lot more. Management needs to address this immediately and if "their hands are tied"then I'll take it to corporate. This is a disgrace to the reputation that Gold's built and EoS should be ashamed of their low standard of care for their customer's gym experience.

Located on Colorado Street on the corner intersection with Louise Street, parallel from Glendale Central Park. You can enjoy this little big location any day of the week with key fob access. They offer a 1 day free trial membership, that I wish was more like 3 to 5 days, but a win is a win! All the cardio equipment is in front with a great view of the street and local Glendale life. Some of the bikes and non treadmills can feel a little mushed together, but they do utilize all the space the best way they can. Restrooms and Showers are tip top, with crazy amazing water pressure. Some cubby holes and lock boxes to store your belongings. Parking is easy in their private lot, however it is limited. It's only a blockish from the the Americana and two from the Glendale Galleria. My boyfriend doesn't live far from here at all, so it's an Anytime I hope to revisit a little more getting back into the swing of being more active. Studio is really nice for free use if no classes are happening. I'm not a full member again yet, so I can't speak to all the policies that have been updated, but with the exception of less amenities and locations Anytime Fitness is exactly what it promises and this one in Glendale is one I appreciate.

It's clean, bright, and I pretty much get free rein of the machines. The equipment's in great shape, and best of all--no herds of gym rats camping on benches while binge-watching TikToks. Apparently, AF being a step above the bargain gyms also means people here actually work out instead of practicing their best "phone stare" routine. So far, I'm impressed--will report back in a few months!

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Since I booked through ClassPass, I just had to show my ID and sign in. It was very clean and the perfect temperature. The studio itself was fantastic and the aerial silks were placed just the right distance for us to swing. The teacher was amazing and was great at giving instruction and coming around to help us get into each pose and ensure we were doing them properly. It can get a little crowded during peak hours, but it's still a solid place to work out. Sometimes they run out of paper towels, but the staff will usually bring more right away when asked. The men's restroom is absolutely disgusting , smells musty, and most of the urinals are out of service. The toilets are often clogged and it's honestly pretty unpleasant to use. But it's not just the restroom the gym floor itself is also very dirty and doesn't look like it's being properly maintained. It feels like the staff aren't keeping up with the mess throughout the facility. I even mentioned it to the lady at the front desk and she told me there was a crew actively working on it. However, after checking around, there was no one actually working on the restrooms or cleaning anything. For a gym that so many people pay for, basic cleanliness and maintenance should be a priority. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had at a gym, and I really hope management starts taking the condition of this location more seriously.
