Let me start by saying the only reason this place gets 4 stars is because it's a BBQ place in…read moreStockholm. As a guy who spends weekend smoking brisket and pork butts, getting BBQ out is usually disappointing in the states, let alone Sweden. I was either very homesick or super curious about what Swedish BBQ would be like. In hindsight it was a little of both. Ordered a cocktail and the BBQ sampler. Cocktail was fine. The menu is littered with sweet cocktails like many restaurants. Was hoping for something boozy but that's not to be found. The sampler was good overall. Portions were sufficient but certainly small by American standards. Not sure that's the appropriate frame of reference but it is smaller. Highlights/ Lowlights - let's start with the key differentiator of good BBQ, brisket. The brisket had good bark and was smokey but no smoke ring makes me think it was liquid smoke. It was cooked well but a cardinal sin was committed. The brisket was cut in the wrong direction making it stringy. - variety of sides and veggies were nice. Pickled items were good. Potato salad was unevenly cooked. - cornbread tasted good but fell apart in the hand -BBQ sauce and chipotle sauce were nice. BBQ didn't quite fall into Texas or KC style. It was thick but had a sweet and sour taste. Not bad but not Texas. - ribs were rough. Short little ribs that were over cooked. They weren't baby back. Just the small end of spare ribs. Or maybe they were cut. - fried chicken was good. It was thigh meat cut away from the bone. Tasted good but if you're looking for a traditional fried chicken, you'll be disappointed. - sausage was actually the highlight of the whole meal. It had a crispy skin and good flavor. Was almost like a Chinese sausage. All in all a good experience. Not the best BBQ in the world but certainly good for being in a Nordic country. Would recommend it if you keep and open mind about where you are.

This bar/restaurant offered me a small piece of Austin during my travels. I can say I didn't eat here because I typically avoid American dining while traveling aboard. My husband and I did, however, enjoy a drink so we could take in the Austin scenery. My husband ordered a Texas Amber beer and I ordered a local cider. Overall a cool place and would recommend all to check it out.

First we had a small pizza with chèvre cheese and honey, it was really delicious! But the mainciurse! Omg! The meat was perfect! Perfectly spiced and so juicy! The dessert was a chocolate cake. I'm Not so much in to desserts, but my husband was really happy and ate both:-)

This place came highly recommended and it was fun to try it out. We made a reservation on their…read morewebsite a few days in advance for 7 pm and arrived a few minutes prior to our reservation time. Unfortunately, our table was not ready when we arrived which I always think is a bad sign when you've made a booking a few days prior, it's kind of a bad start. This was partly made up by the owner offering us something to drink while we waited and we were seated around 20 minutes after our original reservation time. We definitely went in with high expectations since Anna B. has spoken so highly of this place and in light of the recent "taste test", so we were interested in trying out the exact same pizza in both gluten free and regular form, just to see if the taste test was as infallible as advertised. My girlfriend is gluten intolerant and finding a place that caters to her is definitely a great delight - there's a big lack of places like that when you compare Stockholm to for instance NYC (but I digress). To start off, we ordered the shrimp starter which came in a cute small pan. It consisted of four pieces of shrimp that were swimming in a lovely, zesty garlic sauce. My honest opinion here was that while it was tasty - even for a starter, it was on the cheap side considering the starter cost over 100 SEK. We were served our appetizer within 20 minutes of ordering it. We finished it in like 5 minutes and then a waiting game begun. 30 minutes went by and we still had none of the two pizzas that we had ordered. I grabbed a waitress and asked what the holdup is? (it's a pizza, after all). She then says "oh, you want me to ask them to start it?" which kind of caught me off guard. So, we had ordered our pizzas and after they had cleared our appetizers - they still hadn't started our pizzas? Odd. Either way, after talking to the waitress the pizzas came out after like 15 minutes. We ordered the chorizo pizza which was unbelievably tasty. I loved mine and so did my girlfriend. Whilst the taste was great for both pizzas, I'd say that in a "blind test", you'll definitely be able to tell which one is gluten free and which one isn't - and that's just by the consistency. The pizza was a flavor explosion of the best kind and combined the best flavors in one piece. It totally surpassed the wildest of expectations and I left a very happy camper. I'd even say that out of the hundreds of pizzas I've ever had in Sweden, this one is in the top three. If you take this place for what it is, which is a cute bistro in a very up-and-coming neighborhood that's quickly getting very hip, then you'll have a blast. The next time we come here, we'll definitely skip out on the starter and jump right on the pizzas.
