People who know me will also know I'm a pizza guy. I've had the good and the bad of all kinds whether it's in Rome, Taipei, Mumbai or Amsterdam. After a long day of walking around Stockholm I thought what a funny pizza restaurant - Pizza Hatt, like a Swedish joke of Pizza Hut obviously came to mind. Peaking in from the window (like a creeper) I noticed the decor had that East London aesthetic with chipped paint, candles and mismatching chairs. I saw an older couple inside, the woman drinking a glass of wine. Another younger dude having a pale ale (no pizza). And behind the counter were two fun characters, one reminding me of Wayne's World with a mullet and killer trucker cap. I quickly Googled the restaurant: 4.6 stars. Sirs, you have piqued my interest and went on inside. After a very awkward exchange of can I eat here, do you have anything on alcoholic and wait you just want a buffalo mozzarella pizza, I settled in for the ride. I've been spoilt for pizza so I do want to note this isn't the best pizza I've had. If this place was in NY, London or Rome, I'd probably give it 4 stars. But a few things are telling me to go 5: 1) this is definitely a cheaper and tastier eat than other places in this expensive city; 2) the dudes behind the counter were cool and funny, we shared a laugh; 3) I've been to a few European countries recently and this is the best new pizza I've had in a few months. If I were visiting and hadn't had local cuisine, then have that. But if you've had enough of the meatballs and potatoes or your kids (aka you) need a break and want pizza, then yes I would take you here. read more

Oh, this place makes me reminiscent of hipster San Francisco. It's like a taste of home away from home. They even have Anchor Steam beer!!! This is the only spot we've been to for pizza, and it'll probably stay that way--thus the five stars. Tiny place with a small counter and oven, and very limited seating. During the non-winter, they have two large wooden tables outside for additional seating. Pizzas, 90-110kr each, are made fresh to order. All pizzas are quite good (though I don't really prefer the one with anchovies...too salty for me...the sambo likes it though). Two pizzas is enough for two people (you may even have a few slices of leftovers). Minor point: they don't slice the pizza for you. I think you can call in to order, which I'd recommend if it's a weekend evening and the weather's nice. It tends to get busy and with the small oven, they can't make many pizzas at once (once we waited about 20-30 minutes). If you're in Stockholm and want a good, simple, tasty pizza, go here! You really do get a great pizza for a great price--hard to find, really, even in California! read more

I have heard the name a lot but interestingly have passed this place several times without noticing it! It is a small place and not so flashy. The pizza ingredients were very fresh and tasty but I can't say it was the best pizza in Sthlm (Maybe my expectations were higher since the place is so famous) And for the negative sides I can say we had to wait a considerably long time to get the pizza (not too long though) & also there was no non alcoholic drink option but water. So on the whole I enjoyed my time there and I find it fair to give the place a 4! read more

This place is great. It has the best pizzas I've eaten in a long time and they also manage to keep a unique sense of Sweden in them. The chefs are really friendly and the prices great. The most expensive pizza was $14 USD and the size of the pizza was about 40cm or 16 inches. Service was lovely and the pizza was made very quickly. The menu in english is in the picture above. It has a very cozy interior with 3 tables and a total of 20 seats, this restaurant really is a hidden gem that is well worth any walk, it is located 1 block off the end of drottninggattan (the main mall street). Overall, this restaurant is the perfect restaurant for anyone who loves great pizza and a traditional Swedish vibe. read more

Hej We have been there with my girlfriend yesterday. The restaurant was small but really cozy. When you enter the restaurant, you can chose between the approx. 15 permanent pizzas and the specialities. Each pizza we took were excellent! The pizza pan is really thin. Such a let down! I don't understand why this place is so popular. It's a tiny rundown hole-in-the-wall that has decently priced but completely unimpressive pizza. The tomato sauce had good flavor, but the toppings were sparse, and it was quite unremarkable in all other ways. Their cleanliness is questionable - I watched one person working there wipe her sweaty face with a towel and continue using the same towel to dry dishes! I'd recommend take-out if you're really itching to try it. If you're really a pizza afficionado, make your way out to Delibruket Flatbread in Sundbyberg - they have spectacular pizza in a unique setting. read more

Amazing brickoven-like pizza in a cozy little place. Their menu selection is great- we got the #1-pepperoni pizza, more like a Spanish chorizo; #3 a white pizza with fresh potato, anchovies and olives; and the #8 ham with fresh mushroom. All the ingredients are super fresh and tasty, the staff is nice and friendly, and the wine and beer selection is good. Also very reasonably priced. The place is small and you will most likely wait for a table, but it is worth the wait! read more

This will be a thin crust like you will find in Italy. Don't let the name fool you, thankfully, nothing like Pizza Hut. Good deal for Stockholm and very nice staff. If you like a well done crust just let them know to cook it a bit longer. Your in Stockholm so don't be scared to get anchovies or something unusual by American standards. Delightfully cozy, nondescript, small hipster pizza joint conveniently located near our hotel. We ordered a simple pizza with mozz, tomatoes, and basil. It came out hot and fresh in no time at all. The restaurant is very small, with one larger table and two medium ones. We were able to squeeze in next to another pair but just know if you plan on coming during a busy time, you may have to wait. read more
