Such a tough spot to rate because the service was horrendous, yet the food quality and selections…read morewere outstanding. I dined in with a group of 12 on a Monday evening and had a super young server who was very gentle and kind, yet not equipped to handle a table this large. Not only was our server not ready to host, I don't think one employee in the building was. Everyone seemed to ignore our big table and we had to serve ourselves for a majority of our stay. To start, we all went around the table and ordered drinks. The server didn't know many of the beers and couldn't find a mojito on her tablet. She later came back and told the group there was no mint to make a mojito with which should have made her life easier because almost every person got a beer. It took about 25 minutes anytime a beer was ordered and was almost a guarantee that it would get delivered to the wrong person at our table. At one point, we started a game of swapping drinks or just accepting beers that were brought to us in error. When I say this was a total disaster, it was. It was embarrassing for this establishment to say the least and I really hope management looks into it. When it came time to order appetizers, we ordered a variety and that seemed to go over smoothly. The cheese curds and pickle fries were my favorites. The only issue was that utensils, plates and napkins were not delivered until 30 minutes post app delivery forcing our group to share the appetizer plates and me to go up to the bar and grab napkins for everyone. The food order went decent as well. The quality of the food was outstanding. Many people ordered burgers in my group, a couple of wraps and I opted for the mama's Mac. I loved my meal. Personally, I didn't have hair in my food, but 2 others did. Sadly, the service needs extreme work and perhaps chef's hair nets can also be implemented. Bummer!!

Outstanding karaoke experience in the Fargo Moorhead Metroplex last night, Wednesday, January 14,…read more2026. This is the only karaoke place I know of in the area, and there are many, where karaoke starts at the reasonable hour of 8 PM. Children are allowed with their parents or legal guardians in Harold's until 9 PM, so please bring the family. I wanted to meet Harold, but he was probably getting so much needed shut eye, perhaps 6 feet under; may his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace. Anyway, back to life above ground , there were some singers whom I'm sure had many other gifts, and some singers with exceptional voices. The karaoke jockey, KJ, was friendly and did a good job encouraging applause and a good vibe. There were several notable duets by female female and male female, as well as many solos. This writer may have been the second oldest person in the bar, so he felt a wee bit out of place, but the waitress made him feel welcome as did a very friendly young man named Roman and his friend - - she had a beautiful single-syllable name but my memory is failing. There were pizza and jalapeño pickled eggs available, but this writer did not treat himself to either, so he can't rate the food.
