This restaurant has been recommended by so many people I had to try it. I came at 5pm and was the only customer so a little nervous. Service was very friendly, polite, and helpful . They asked for my opinion in what I liked and what I had tried before. I find Butter Chicken boring and not a big fan of most Indian curry, so they encouraged me to try the tandoori chicken and it was great! Garlic nann was good also. Tried the mild+ heat level and it was at my limit. I would think most folks in ND would appreciate something not so hot, I on the other hand am happy to find a place that actually does provide some spice level. Not typical for this area. Good Indian food in the former Sakura location in Minot. Run by a lovely young Nepali couple this place deserves to be supported. While service could improve (was a bit disjointed, perhaps due to the owners and one help scrambling to make sure all were attended to), food was plentiful and flavorful. Super Smooth Soft Opening, even with still ironing out their kinks. There is little remaining of the previous restrictions decor. These guys are making the space their own & it's coming together nicely. The service was fantastic. Prices are reasonable. The food was not only quite tasty, it was also very filling. Thinking I'll go back for dinner tonight, ha! Note: I went back for dinner. The opening day dinner rush was a bit overwhelming for them, based on their page and staff feedback. As off-time eaters, we went after the rush, during their recovery. The food was just as good as lunch, and the service was still great, despite the staff looking a bit worn out. In the evening, I was able to take half my food home for lunch the next day, after getting comfortably full. Opted for delivery our last go around. I give it F++ for fast, fresh & fabulous. In this case, a very good thing. The chow mein and curry chicken were both ordered with medium heat and that was about a perfect spice level to make the flavors pop! Bonus for 50% off In house, previously, service was excellent. The tables are well spread out & there are screened signs on the windows. I travel occasionally for work and when I do I like finding local places to eat at instead of the same old tired chain restaurants. This place was the perfect pick. I ordered Chicken Coconut Korma (mild plus as far as heat) with Garlic Naan and an Iced Chai Tea. I've never had this dish before, so I was excited about it. It was served with basmati rice and was absolutely incredible...like "I wish we had this place back home" kind of incredible! I could not finish it and I was bummed. (May be the Wegovy I started taking a few weeks back. Hard to finish anything really.) The owner came out and chatted with us. He and the waitress were very friendly, even trying to laugh at my table-mate's choice of awkward humor. Both my friends stated that the loved their food as well and that it was an awesome choice to go there. If you live in Minot, go and support this restaurant! The food was very good, got your typical butter and tikka masala chickens with a side of naan to share with my partner. The service was friendly and they attracted a decent lunch crowd. My main drawbacks were they played the same song over and over the whole time we were there for lunch, it got too repetitive. Additionally, it was almost 50$ for two people to eat lunch - which was a bit absurd. I understand inflation impacts pricing and it's a newer restaurant but it was steep for what the portions were. read more

Winter has come and needed something comforting for the soul and Indian food was the first that came to mind. We don't have a lot of diverse restaurants in North Dakota and that makes it challenging to try different ethnic foods. I've only had Indian food a handful of times and each time was delicious. First, I highly recommend the Chicken Mango, I ordered it mild just in case but next time I'm gonna turn it up a notch. But oh em gee!! The Chicken Mango is sooo good! I was little worried the sweetness would be a bit much but it's not. Add garlic naan with it and talk about food heaven. After picking up the order it was torture to drive home because the car smelled so good, I almost pulled over to eat. But after a scary snowy drive home, turned up the heat, put on my sweats and Netflix, I finally plated up my dinner, and fell asleep with the plate still sitting on my chest and rice on my chin. Their mild level of spice was ok for someone like me who doesn't like spicy food.
