This was my second time, trying Basecamp, but in Minot instead of Williston. Restaurant was a little larger, staff is friendly and attentive. I got the chicken chili Momo and it was wonderful. My son enjoyed his lamb mango curry and garlic cheese naan. If we have one complaint, it would be that we ordered the both the same medium level of spice, but mine was much hotter than, which was fine with me. I will definitely be back. read more

Food was amazing. We had a large party. Service was great. Just be careful when you go as a large party, they did not separate our checks. The manager (not sure of role) was asking if anyone wanted to volunteer to pay the check. My husband thought he was joking and then thought he'd come and get everyone's cards or money. Turns out he was not joking. Due to language misinterpretation make it clear that you would like separate checks. Otherwise, great place to go. read more

Amazing food as always, I highly recommend splitting a dish and naan so you'll have room for dessert. I have tried several dishes and never been disappointed. Sauced lamb dishes are my go-to, they are flavorful and rich without needing hot spices. The music pairs well with the atmosphere and service is always pleasant and attentive. read more

Good Indian food in the former Sakura location in Minot. Run by a lovely young Nepali couple this place deserves to be supported. While service could improve (was a bit disjointed, perhaps due to the owners and one help scrambling to make sure all were attended to), food was plentiful and flavorful. Enjoyed dinner in the company of colleagues; plan to return soon. Well-done to the owners and staff. Please support this homegrown venture. read more

Super Smooth Soft Opening, even with still ironing out their kinks. There is little remaining of the previous restrictions decor. These guys are making the space their own & it's coming together nicely. The service was fantastic. Prices are reasonable. The food was not only quite tasty, it was also very filling. Thinking I'll go back for dinner tonight, ha! Note: I went back for dinner. The opening day dinner rush was a bit overwhelming for them, based on their page and staff feedback. As off-time eaters, we went after the rush, during their recovery. The food was just as good as lunch, and the service was still great, despite the staff looking a bit worn out. In the evening, I was able to take half my food home for lunch the next day, after getting comfortably full. The 7 levels of heat allow for personal taste adjustments & delivered as promised, with heat not just being an aftertaste. The flavors were well developed & melded nicely. read more

Oh man, our food was so good! I had the Combo Curry, spicy level 7 with the garlic naan. Wow! The heat built well. The lamb, chicken and shrimp were cooked to perfection. The curry sauce was dark and rich. My wife had the Chicken Vindaloo, spicy level 5 which was moderate for West Coast tastes. She also had the garlic naan. The vindaloo had a balanced flavor and the chicken was very tender. We highly recommend Basecamp. read more

Opted for delivery our last go around. I give it F++ for fast, fresh & fabulous. In this case, a very good thing. The chow mein and curry chicken were both ordered with medium heat and that was about a perfect spice level to make the flavors pop! Bonus for 50% off In house, previously, service was excellent. The tables are well spread out & there are screened signs on the windows. I'd like to see something done to fully cover where the hibachi tables used to be (from last business) - otherwise, it's really come together & I love having this option for sit down, takeout & delivery. read more

Awesome meal and friendly service. Just remember that you request the heatness of your meal from 1 baby mild to 7 hellfire caliente.

I know it's not best to post pics of food after you chow down, but I forgot to take a picture before I started eating. So, sorry for that. I travel occasionally for work and when I do I like finding local places to eat at instead of the same old tired chain restaurants. This place was the perfect pick. I ordered Chicken Coconut Korma (mild plus as far as heat) with Garlic Naan and an Iced Chai Tea. I've never had this dish before, so I was excited about it. It was served with basmati rice and was absolutely incredible...like "I wish we had this place back home" kind of incredible! I could not finish it and I was bummed. (May be the Wegovy I started taking a few weeks back. Hard to finish anything really.) The owner came out and chatted with us. He and the waitress were very friendly, even trying to laugh at my table-mate's choice of awkward humor. Both my friends stated that the loved their food as well and that it was an awesome choice to go there. If you live in Minot, go and support this restaurant! This is the kind of place you want to be successful and stick around. If you are visiting, give it a try as well. You will not be disappointed!! read more

Basecamp Indian Kitchen - Chicken Coconut Korma with Garlic Naan - Indian Near Me - Minot, North Dakota

The food was very good, got your typical butter and tikka masala chickens with a side of naan to share with my partner. The service was friendly and they attracted a decent lunch crowd. My main drawbacks were they played the same song over and over the whole time we were there for lunch, it got too repetitive. Additionally, it was almost 50$ for two people to eat lunch - which was a bit absurd. I understand inflation impacts pricing and it's a newer restaurant but it was steep for what the portions were. read more

Food was so-so, we have certainly had much better indian food. The service was fine. The table we sat at was sticky as was the floor. The owner is a bit of a drama queen by questioning my google review and accusing me of being his competition.... It's a shame that the better indian restaruant went belly up. read more

From walking in the door, ordering my food to the food being served to the bill was an absolute treat. Great PERSONABLE customer service. Great calming ambiance. Understood exactly what I wanted upon ordering. Great conversation at the table. One of the most tastiest and creamiest Kormas (chicken) that I've had in a while and found in Minot, ND. The dessert Gulab Jamun was so good. Compliments from the staff for being a new customer. Their online rating is a 5/5 for a reason. Highly recommend from me. Give them a try. You wont be disappointed. MattyRocks Internet Radio Personality read more

The food and service was absolutely amazing. The mango smoothie drink... I absolutely recommend!

The staff are very very nice - super polite, always smiling at you. The food is very good. You can customize the spice level, so feel free to come and try their food even if you don't like spicy. Their mild level of spice was ok for someone like me who doesn't like spicy food. The korma had tender chicken, the sauce was very flavorful and it came out super hot and fresh, along with the rice and naan. Highly recommend this place. read more

Winter has come and needed something comforting for the soul and Indian food was the first that came to mind. We don't have a lot of diverse restaurants in North Dakota and that makes it challenging to try different ethnic foods. I've only had Indian food a handful of times and each time was delicious. First, I highly recommend the Chicken Mango, I ordered it mild just in case but next time I'm gonna turn it up a notch. But oh em gee!! The Chicken Mango is sooo good! I was little worried the sweetness would be a bit much but it's not. Add garlic naan with it and talk about food heaven. After picking up the order it was torture to drive home because the car smelled so good, I almost pulled over to eat. But after a scary snowy drive home, turned up the heat, put on my sweats and Netflix, I finally plated up my dinner, and fell asleep with the plate still sitting on my chest and rice on my chin. Definitely coming back, especially with the incredible service I received. read more

Really great atmosphere. Not crowded with too many tables. Had the beef curry and it was the best. Good wait staff.

The customer service was absolutely amazing! We came at lunch time with a group of 6 and they were so hospitable. I had the chicken Rogan Josh with an appetizer of the somasoa, and I will say it was some of the best Indian food I've eaten. Naan was 10/10! read more
