I called the next day to reschedule the evaluation and if needed to have a tooth pulled. Dr. Kaufman analyzed the issue and agreed that my two upper wisdom teeth both had to be pulled. I told him that when I rescheduled the appointment, I also scheduled for the extraction, he immediately went to work extracting the tooth. When he saw that there was some discomfort when he tried to inject Novocaine, he right away used some more topical anesthetic to make sure I was comfortable. Once I put my headphones on and had music playing, he went to work without bothering me until he was done. He made the whole experience one that I would not forget and when I need another appointment, I will not hesitate to call.

I was seen right away, no wait. Dr. Schachter was very kind, calm and gentle. He made sure to administer the novocaine in the most painless way possible. He talked me through everything, took his time and by the time the tooth was removed- I didn't even realize he had taken it out. I felt nothing! His assistant was super sweet, kept my company and talked to me while we waited for the novocaine to kick in- she even let me hold/squeeze her hand during the procedure (in hindsight it was totally unnecessary the way I squeezed the crap out of her hand, but it was still very comforting lol). His wife (the hygienist) is one of the most rude, ignorant woman I have ever met. After my story I have heard numerous other stories about messed up fillings, infected root canals, not wanting to use much Novocaine, not changing gloves after answering the phone etc etc...I wish I had known these stories before.
