Another visit to Advanced Dental Techniques! This time was a pretty cool experience. I had a Cone-beam 3D image taken and I was amazed! The machine itself seemed pretty impressive but the results were awesome. No discomfort at all! After the scan (which took less than a minute), Dr B was able to look at a 3d model of my entire face and jaw from every angle which was displayed on a monitor. Of coarse it looked pretty cool and all, but he was able to see why I was having pain in my top teeth (2 abscesses and a sinus infection which I had no idea I even had)... Dentistry has come a long way since I was younger and I am actually looking forward to my next visit. read more

This is honestly the best dentist I have ever been to. I am someone that suffers from an extreme phobia of dentists and in need of some extensive work and I can now say I feel comfortable and confident making appointments and having procedures done here. They actually talk to you like a human and explain everything they're going to do instead of just shoving needles and tools in your mouth. There is no pressure to pay extreme amounts of money right away and the office is beautiful. The biggest plus is the oral sedation, it is the best thing offered here to make my procedures comfortable and endurable. Everyone here is extremely nice, funny, and accommodating. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Breiterman's for many years. I trust his opinion and his dentistry so much so that I come to see him from upstate New York where I now live. I recently had a procedure on a tooth that had a previous deep filling that required replacing. Dr. Breiterman's staff was more than accommodating, providing me with a blanket during my visit as well as directing my attention to the massage feature on the dental chair. The injection he gave me was painless and the impression of my tooth was taken digitally. My crown was fabricated in one appointment with minimal waiting time. My whole appointment went very smoothly. Dr. Breiterman is a great dentist and I will continue to seek his dental care. read more

Best Dentist in NJ! The office is beautiful and has a spa like feel to it. The staff is wonderful and compassionate! My latest visit here was definitely impressive. Upon arriving, I was immediately escorted to the back to begin treatment. The wonderful assistant offered me a hand paraffin treatment and movie glasses to watch Netflix!! Come on, how cool is that!!?? The chairs you sit in for treatment are so comfy, and the chair has a massage and heat setting! I'm officially spoiled and I'm never going anywhere else. Came in because of all the great reviews. He is very thorough and does explain everything but...there's some quirks to his personality. He's a little awkward, doesn't necessarily explain what he's doing when he's doing it (the assistant was amazing though I wish I caught her name- made sure I was safe, explained everything, and was nice throughout). Anyway, when they hit you with the bill, that's when they finally want to tell you that insurance doesn't cover. I hate offices that do work without letting you know the cost of what they're doing. Going in, they could clearly tell that I'm not as experienced or aware of their insurance policy. I called ahead of time to make sure my insurance would cover the visit and the secretary (Susan) reassured me that no work would be done without me knowing the cost. What a liar. Susan I would say runs a tight ship but started complaining to me about another patient that he had (called him annoying and said they get crazy patients). Didn't appreciate that. Then, she started down grading other dentists that would be under my plan because they don't do great work like this doctor- I guess it's a psychological approach to try to intimidate or scare me into staying with their insane prices. Insurance is there for a reason- if I can't afford something don't try to barrage me with your opinions I didn't ask for, stay professional. As I was leaving, another client (elderly man) was shocked at how much he had to pay for a visit $391 was what the secretary repeated to him 3 times. He swore prices used to be cheaper and they didn't really say anything to reassure him- just that that's what it costs. Seems like they blindside elderly clients just like they blindsided me with the costs. I'm not one to care about a dentists office have a "spa" like feel. All that extra fluff isn't necessary in my eyes. Give me good dentistry, sincerity, and clarity in the office with reasonable prices. I was a client that called and EMPHASIZED concern for insurance coverage but yet they still overlooked my needs and then Susan had the audacity to say "well normally if I know ahead of time I would let the client know" after my visit was done as if I didn't call AHEAD OF TIME TO ASK. Well why didn't she take down my information AHEAD of time? Why didn't she check my insurance AHEAD of time when I came in before they started anything? She should've done her job a little more efficiently and this wouldn't have been a problem. I'm a straightforward kind of girl, this is a around the bush kind of office. DON'T come in unless you FOR A FACT- make sure that your insurance covers it or that you can afford them. Don't let them scam you. For the service they provide, eh they're not terrible but they're not that great. read more

Great experience - the whole office is welcoming. My first visit I didn't know what to expect, but knew I was going to need some extensive work on my gums. Dr Breiterman discussed the procedure he uses and answered my questions. Bohdana, the dental hygienist, very warm and welcoming and really enjoys her job. DR B and the rest of the crew are really top notch. They are all very welcoming and comforting, and will earn your trust right away. My wife needed sedation when she first started with Dr B, but due to the trust they've built, she no longer needs any of that. Also, due to the excellent care provided by Dr B, Bohdana, Diana, and everybody else in the office her oral health is better than it's been in a long time... mine too.
