I was seen right away, no wait. Dr. Schachter was very kind, calm and gentle. He made sure to administer the novocaine in the most painless way possible. He talked me through everything, took his time and by the time the tooth was removed- I didn't even realize he had taken it out. I felt nothing! His assistant was super sweet, kept my company and talked to me while we waited for the novocaine to kick in- she even let me hold/squeeze her hand during the procedure (in hindsight it was totally unnecessary the way I squeezed the crap out of her hand, but it was still very comforting lol). Best experience I could have ever asked for. Highly highly recommend!!! He also let me keep the tooth which I found to be really cool LOL. My little souvenir

I told him that Novocaine does not work well on me and I need extra, he still only gave me a small amount. When I told him I could feel it he said "Oh it's almost done" and kept drilling. Didn't clean my teeth properly. Was left waiting over an hour in the waiting room while he had lunch despite having an appointment. His wife (the hygienist) is one of the most rude, ignorant woman I have ever met. After my story I have heard numerous other stories about messed up fillings, infected root canals, not wanting to use much Novocaine, not changing gloves after answering the phone etc etc...I wish I had known these stories before.
